I picked up a GEEKOM XT12 during Amazon Prime Day and I'm very happy with this mini PC. I mostly use it for Microsoft Office (on 2 monitors) plus photo and video editing, as well as RUclips videos. The XT12 was probably overkill for my needs but this PC should easily last me 5+ years. Thanks for the review.
Glad to see the new colour in the graphs. It really does make the viewing easier. DDR4 is a headscratcher. Overall, when looking at the price and then what we get, with some corners cut, it is underwhelming and smacks of a lack of attention to detail from the manufacturer. Rushed to market perhaps.
Hi Rob tech, just bought the gt13 mini Pro.. not gaming at the moment but eventually I will be and the integrated graphics will struggle...anyway long story short, can you add an external gpu to it and if so will you be doing a separate vid on how to do it?..thanks for any help Rob 😉
Like the XT12, it's an attractive unit, but even though it improves on the XT12 somewhat in performance, the XT12 is as low as $509 (AMZN US quick deal) with prime or about $600 without, and the XT13 just doesn't seem to justify the extra at least $250. I understand all of the metal makes it harder, but given that they managed it with the wifi antenna, you'd have thought by now they'd have made the BT a bit better.... I wonder if they just don't realize how many things are BT-enabled now. Still, it's nice to see reviews of more expensive units occasionally.
Great review, the head to head benchmarks are really useful 👍 The Geekom AE7 shows it a clean pair of heels though, if only they could sort the memory overheating issue....
Can't wait for mini PCs with Ryzen 9 AI 365 and 370!!!
As always, thanks for the review!
Price is really bad, i cannot imagine this will sell.
And if intel confirms that also their laptop cpus are effected by degradation !?
The mobile chips don't run on crazy voltages like the desktop CPUs which hit 1.5V per core
Isn't this basically the same thing as the mini IT13???
Thank you for reviewing our product. Your feedback on GEEKOM products is greatly appreciated!

how is the cpu stability?
I wonder if that SD slot works and you could cut a slot or just open the case and slide one in? heh Anyway, probably not worth the effort.
You need to take this mind reading show on the road. How did you know what I wanted to ask? Is it a trick or is it real?

Hi Rob Tech, this doesn't look like mSATA but an m.2 slot (probably supporting SATA drives only)
www.kingston.com/en/blog/pc-performance/ssd-form-factors
So if the SATA Ribbon Port is blocked, I guess this means you can't add a 2.5 SATA disc?
And no ribbon cable. It's a leftover feature from previous designs
