I remember when brawl stars had a similar issue, were the trophy roud rewards were reseted and you could collect them all once again (for me, beeing at high trophy, around 36-37k if not less, it was a lot of progresion). Like that I got Chester, a legendary brawler, for free in the first day of the update. And everybody who didnt got the rewards were compensated, and I think this is what should do the devs from CR

OMG I got a chest like that last night, if you were on the game exactly right after the balance changes I think you probably have it, I was in the middle of a battle and then came back and opened a pass Royale chest and got 25-45 hero cards for 3 of my hero’s, should I buy gold to level them up asap???
What they should’ve done was just revert the servers to a state before the season reset. A game this big _must_ have backup servers with all their data. If it was a short-lasting bug only staying for 5 minutes they could’ve just reverted everyone’s progress to before the glitch happened (if they have the ability to do so). The longer they leave it, the more difficult it is. If they do it now everyone will lose a lot more progress than if they did it immediately. And everyone who spent money could likely lose that as well (unless they refund it or give those players who’ve spent it the rewards again for free).
Only fix is making everyone level 15, and to those who had for example 10 levels 15s before the glitch, make them have 10 level 16s. Scrap the 14>15 costing 50k ewc, and make it so 15>16 costs 50k
