I live in the south (states), and I love my Yeti. It gets extremely hot here, and I can keep iced water in my car for hours, hop in, and still have something refreshing to drink.

the lid doesnt spill if tipped, its vacuum sealed. Tho it will leak a few drops thru the magnet cap if u put it upside down.

All of the magnetic "seals" leak as if they weren't even there! What good does a good lid seal do if the spout leaks?

My bf loves and swears by his yeti but he used it for water. I want one for coffee but my issue is that lid. It wont keep ur drinks hot for long because of the lid it’s very open if you know what I mean. I’ll prolly still get one tho because yeti are very easy to clean 100% and durable

My friend told me he left milk in his yeti for 3 days and he open it and it was still cold and not soured!!!!

Aardvark McLeod Fly Fishing just because of that and all these wonderful reviews about it I don’t believe he was lying!!! The yeti is the best one on the market and it’s not even close!!!! Also perfect video man the 26 oz seems to be the best for me, but 1 question, how well does the 26 oz fit in a car cup holdee!

Try putting in 20ounces in the twenty ounce Yeti mug then put the lid on, I don't think you can do it.

Fuck that! I gave up on push off lids a long time ago. They're an accident waiting to happen. Only twist offs for me.

Any update on how the powder coating is holding up? I've read a lot of them are chipping after some use. Thanks!

I would rather use the Pelagic 20 oz tumbler, it even comes in a cool dorado color scheme.

Dude, sorry... Couldn't understand what you said about the hour you usually pour coffee in the mug. Just understood that you get to the office 10am. Can you clarify!? thanks

Does the mug spill if you tilt it too much to the side for anyone else? I know it is not a twist seal but I thought the seal would still be better for the price we pay!

Great video! Preference between the 20 vs 30 oz tumbler? Does the powder coated finish help to provide any grip? Thank you.

Why did you edit it to say mug instead of tumbler? Was so weird lol

We call’em mugs here the UK… a tumbler is something you put whiskey in! 😀

I just bought this and the leaky lid is kind of a deal breaker. That "not a complete seal" comment is an understatement. I had coffee in it and could barely walk to the bus without it spilling over the top. I sometimes ride my bike to work and the mug may slip or tumble over. This is a deal breaker for that. It is NOT good at preventing splashes. I'd also say with that leak, though I haven't tested it, with that leak in place, there's NO WAY it can keep liquids hot for THAT long.

Thumbs up for You, I don't normally give a thumbs up, but well done. I have a Yeti Rambler (Tumbler) in my sights
On Amazon. 20 oz River green or something like that.
Magnetic Cover sold separately I've noticed but worth
    The $10 extra. Cheers.

Not sure why everyone is so excited about this mug. there's plenty of mugs that keep coffee hot. the question is does it leak and this thing leaks like a sieve.

@@AardvarkMcLeodFlyFishing Mine stays really hot when I first pour it. Today for the first time I made coffee at 3, took it to work and when I took my first sip at 7 (4 hours) it was barely luke warm. I like the tumbler, but mine doesn't stay hot for hours, at least not 4 hours. I haven't tested it at any shorter periodicity.

      You are 100% right.
It does leak, and not just a few drops.
Give it long enough it will make a big mess.

Absolutely! I got the new screw-on lid and locking magnetic seal. Both features are simply HORRIBLE! It leaks worse than the old model and they've TOTALLY screwed up the interface with your lip.

Contigo lids become disgusting. I’ve gone through so many lids because they’re very difficult to clean. I have the Yeti, Contigo and Ember cups. The Yeti is the least complicated, easiest to clean, and keeps my coffee or tea warm.

My Husband has that style and they seem nice for not spilling but are so disgusting and not so easily to clean like you said. I'd sacrifice some stuff for easy access to clean. What I can't see inside my cup's parts is just very scary to me lol.
