This video was just amazing thank you Jamie for the brilliant day out that car of urs scares me lol especially when it’s coming down the road loved it getting out buddy thanks again mate and we will be out soon again
Mate watch out the big man is back to catch ya. Sams car looks sick and 132mph PB fantastic. Gee mate I jumped when yours went air borne and i thought i seen a splash but really hopped not.... Thank goodness the damage wasn't worse.... Good to see sam back. ❤
Nothing worse than water mate, full bearing replacement all the way down to diffs! Not sure about electrics yet as want to let them full dry out before I turn it on, cars fully stripped at the min.. great to have sam back to be honest 💪
Anything other than water 😞 no matter what it’s a full pull apart of the car, all the way to replacement of bearing on diffs / lockers. It’s a full bearing replacement on the car which takes some time, still letting all electrical components completely dry before I try turning it on, motor was a full bearing replacement also! Horrible to be honest! Good yo see same get a pb, a lot of heat put into those batteries 😆
Looking at the body there is a sharp transition from 0-100% full cross section within the first 15-20% of the length of the body resulting in the centre of pressure being far forward. This is countered by the cut off at the back and the fins that create massive drag. The drag at the back remains stable when the speed increases while the front transition will increase dramatically with speed increase. This results in the CofP creeping forward and destabilising the car. The solution is to angle the body sides and top from the front to the back so the transition is smoother. The car needs to be more dart like. Also if you want more speed you need to sort out the massive drag at the back.
Thanks Derek, yep not what I wanted to be honestly, due to batteries being old and tired, the batteries were overcharged and heated substantially to aim for a pb run..
Dam the water bro unbelievable smh that is crazy
I would have been ok with anything else but water, full strip down of motor
, receiver box bearings and diffs!
Nightmare!

Thank you 🙏🏼
Very sad to see, but good to know in the end the damage was not too bad. All that for one small stone, there ain't no justice...

Just bad luck right there boys😔 , she was moving otherwise 👍
Definitely still accelerating hard, you can hear rpm climbing as she was moving away.
Thanks
