- Back in 1997, I interviewed Michael Richards for the release of the film: "Trial and Error." We talked about his time in the military, his early career struggles, the reactions he gets from fans, the challenges of fame, and a few other things. Enjoy!
So crazy seeing him talk calm
What does that even mean
@@of_oniichan7755 You don't know him lol ;)
@@of_oniichan7755 He went on a racist rant in 2006. While doing his stand-up act, hecklers were being disrespectful and he lost his cool. He apologized and if you look at recent interviews, he's full of regret and remorse. I'm black and white. I'm personally on Michael Richards side on that. I forgive him for what he did. When you're angry and full of rage, you say and do things that you don't mean. Words slip out. We're all humans and we all make mistakes.
@@Imnotsurerightnow Well said. That's rare to find around these parts. Peace.
I never knew he had medical training. It's great to get a glimpse of the person behind the character.
I'd watch this guy no matter what the show
Too bad about his fall from grace. Hope he is doing well now.
There is a very interesting episode of "comedians in cars getting coffee" with him as a guest star. He shares a lot of insight on the repercussions of "that night"
@@broadcap really fun episode too, loved the chess story so much 🤗
@@liliriegel8104 Yep the chess story was great too. That was one of the best episodes of the show.
Everybody but the biggest anal retentive a-holes forgot that a long time ago. Hope he makes a comeback in some form.
He's fine. We all have moments we regret, things we wish we could take back. He's no different.
He may be a medic to you, but he will always be Cosmo Kramer to me.
will always love ya, Stanley Spedouski!!
Love him.
An absolute genius - Kramer is a work of art,
He’s weirdly handsome
Kavorka
He’s a very handsome and sexy man
Amazing!!
Michael did a very physical sketch playing army, like a little kid, on "Fridays".
It really had no ending, but was sort of interesting.
Interesting Jerry mentions Kramer having been in the army during one of the Seinfeld eps.
It's so sad that the industry blacklisted him after that incident, like he can't do no wrong and others don't make mistakes. Imagine what good movies he would make.
It's a pity he didn't become a director. He clearly knows how to make good, funny productions. He might have become one of the great Hollywood director/performers
K-Man!Love the guy!
Richards was and is an original ...Too talented and funny ...."Goes with the turf " )))
Michael Richards, you are such a good sweet guy!!! I watched Seinfeld because of you!!
Love Michael Richards!! God Bless you Michael. Best character in sitcom history!
Is there the Whole interview anywhere?
That is the entire interview. They are short, about five minutes or so.
Kramer was his career. Thank God for residuals
I keep expecting him to twitch wildly and fall off the chair or something.
A time before politics
I miss that time a lot. The older I get the worse the world is
it's the stupid smartphones and social media
There was a lot of politics in movies back then. Conservatives complained about Hollywood then just as they do now
@@Tripp393 Nailed it. Now every moron on the planet can broadcast their moron views to the masses. Back then, morons were lucky to get their moronic opinions/takes heard outside of their own living rooms.
How does this video have such little views???
You can tell it’s obvious. He never wanted that type of spotlight and most likely self sabotaged himself to get away from the love. Interesting and sad.
02:24 Kenny Rogers chicken: Oh, they gave me the heave hole
Sure would be nice if we could forgive and let it go - never heard exactly what he said - not sure it matters knowing it was part of a bit
I finally looked it up and watched it, it wasn't part of a bit and it was actually pretty offensive. He was being heckled by someone in the crowd who happened to be black and he snapped and went on an angry rant with a bunch of racial slurs. It was tough to watch.
UHF
best movie
Racist
One of the best characters all time on tv. Kinda like what Barney fife did. They play the characters so hilariously 😂😂😂😂😂😂
