      Leonardo dicaprio always goes completely over the top, where the general audience thinks it’s great acting, he does all the time like how al Pacino went always over the top in the 70s and 90s
      Philip Seymour Hoffman is an example of great acting and subtle acting that is never really appreciated by the audiences
      Audiences love the screaming and shouting, and call them great acting
      However I agree Leonardo dicaprio is one of the best actors of the 21st century

      I mean they can't have people point guns at each other in movies anymore, even if they're 10000% not loaded irl. They can't film car chases that are good because they can't do over 50mph or somethin like that. Meanwhile Tommy is hanging his 50+ year old ass off of a literal airplane as it takes off. Puts all other actors and the people who make decisions about film making to utter shame. : p lol

    @rogerkeith3516 2 года назад +17

    Growing up Denzel was my favorite actor of all time. He’s still in my top 5. But he took a big L in my opinion with Macbeth. First off. This is 10th century Scotland. Macbeth was either Pictish, Celtic or Breton. But never mind that they went the “diversity” route. Denzel was a “diversity” hire. He did that Kevin Costner thing from Robin Hood where he does his regular American accent while everyone around him was speaking British and Scottish accents. Bypassing his opportunity to show that “range” we give him credit for. To show he could play it Scottish. And still deliver the goods. That role exposed Denzel. That he can only play different versions of “Denzel”. But never get outside of his own actual persona.
