Thanks for the video. I switched to Lumafusion a couple of years ago so I can edit easily on my ipad or phone while traveling. Eventually I stopped using Davinci and started using Lumafusion exclusively. It's a powerful tool and I'm still learning as I used the basic tools and haven't gotten too deeply into the animation.

Hi Zdenka great video! I think this is the first Lumafusion tutorial I watch till the end.
So I have been creating very basic and amateur videos in Lumafusion and I would like to learn more about audio. How to transition between audio tracks and how to reduce the volume to a song and increase background audio, i dont know… Things like that 😅

Excellent tutorial! Really helped this ol’ guy learn A LOT more about using LumaFusion and what it has to offer! I didn’t know it had scopes, or the audio presets like high and low pass filters! I would like to see a video on exporting your video. For example, when I tried exporting directly to RUclips from the app it wouldn’t work. (I use an M1 11-inch iPad Pro.) Since you very kindly offered to do further videos, I wonder if it would be possible for you to apply all the basic effects and functions on any. Learning the software becomes so much easier if you watch and follow a tutorial with step by step process.

Zdenka, as always, you’ve presented a very thorough tutorial . Straight forward and to the point. I would love to know more about the clean up. What gets cleaned up???? What should be done to prior to safely using the clean up tool. Also, audio is black magic. The ONLY thing I understand is Gain. Beyond that it is all Greek to me. @@ZdenkaDarula One little tip I've found: I recently bought an inexpensive wireless lavalier microphone. The quality was terrible and I was on the point of throwing it away. Then I saw a RUclipsr addressing mike problems and he recommended doing a hard reset on my iPhone. Wonder of wonders it transformed the quality!. I've also heard that sometimes switching on FlightMode can help.

Finnaly a Lumafusion tutorial , i love LUma… what a stunning app for ipad, iv used all my summer vacation to learn it. That was a stunning tutorial !! I have one question.. 1: Is it posible to syncronize video clip to the beat/ music somehow in luma..automatically?? ..
Thank you very much for your support. Unfortunately that is not possible to do that automatically. They are working on multicam which is going to handle all that but I’m not sure when it’s gonna be released.

Thank you for the fantastic tutorial. I just discovered Luma yesterday and am eager to learn more about it. Since you so generously invited us to suggest topics, here are some topics I would like to learn more about:
1. Synchronizing and switching back and forth between 2 (or more) videos of the same event: for example filming a piano player, switching between a camera focused on his fingers and a more distant camera showing the full piano, all while the music plays without interruption -- is this possible?
2. Exporting a finished video onto a video track that I could then import into ProTools for more advanced audio editing.
3. Is it possible to get audio into the video recorded through a source other than the iPad or iPhone mic? For example, while recording the video on the iPad, simultaneously record the audio on some better mics through a preamp and import/synchronize that audio into the video for further editing within Luma.

Thanks so much for your tutorial, I use VN editor for my films and it was great to get me introduced to editing and I made 41 films with it. Each time I edited a moovie I would learn something new and I would experiment with new techniques. I spent a week editing what was supposed to be my next upload to you tube and when I was exporting VN crashed, I lost the whole weeks work and I thought to myself I have invested so much, just pay for an editor so I chose Luma. As this editor is more sophisticated I am struggling just to make a cut. I do moto vlogs and I have a cam on helmet and one facing me so I use two tracks, I put the one facing me on top and whenever I want to cut to me I just delete the top track in the sections I don't want it facing me. Unfortunately it I cut the top to sync with the bottom track, I move the top to the beginning and the deleted clip comes back, I know there is a simple fix and just watching your tutorial has helped me understand the basics , I will keep plugging away and hopefully get results 🎉

@Zdenka, I want to take images I create and edit on my iPad and upload them directly in an efficient way (in bulk) to multiple websites at once, without having to enter key words individually for each site. Is there a way to do this? Right now, I am doing this for each image and each website individually. As you can imagine, it takes a lot of time. I didn’t mind at first as I was on a learning curve regarding what would be accepted/rejected. But now that almost everything I submit gets accepted, I want to make this process less time consuming and more efficient. I want to stick with the whole process from start for finish using my iPad. Can you give me some advice please? Perhaps this could be an interesting video topic for you.

Is ipad 10 2022 suitable and responsive for good film editing?

How to turn clip to time lapse, or increase the speed of just small 3-4 min out of 6 min clip? Is this option available in this app?
You can speed it up to a certain point, but it’s always better to film time lapse directly to get the results you need
I saw an ad where they took a page and broke it into 16 flipping photos. Is that possible with lumavision?
I unfortunately haven’t tried that trick so I don’t know. I would have to experiment a bit.

I believe that this app only allows 1.33 times…. It is easier to film directly in app which dis quizzes it as you are actually filming not in the post later.
