    This is awesome Stan! Thank you for the video. I've always wondered how much we are allowed to explore the reservoir.

    Great content! & That reservoir is a zoo! The snake hiding under the football is classic!

    Thank you, Love the video! I had been wondering if we had Bobcats in our reservoir and your video confirmed it. 🙌🏼 A few months back I came across a huge coyote out in the middle of Clay past Eldridge around 2:30 am ... what was weird is that I've never seen a coyote that big.. looked bigger than a full grown German Shepherd . I usually come across coyotes but alot smaller , I don't believe there's still wolves around this part of Texas but I could be wrong. 🤔🤷🏻‍♂️.. I go past the reservoir daily to work at 2 am.

      not super far but, one night i got out of work around 1 am ish... I went home after work and showered then headed to a airbnb in galveston my friends rented out that we were going to stay at for 3 nights... showering getting ready and driving to north Houston in Galveston i was there around 3am ish...... man i know this sounds completely unreal I saw the biggest coyote, honestly it could have been a wolf absolutely massive running by a rural road in galveston island

    I also have a himiway black that I just got a month and a half ago I haven't ridden it yet my son-in-law wrote it I really like the side rusher I'm probably going to really like the Himiway also

    LOL, that tree bridge might not be there for long if those beavers keep that up.
    Snake was non-venomous. Broad-banded water snake. Apparently he likes football.

    Have you been to blue light cemetery? It is located off the crit loop… Just a fence now around an empty space. Looting has ruined all the old cemetery headstones.

      @stanthereservoirrat5934  2 года назад

      Yes I've been to Blue Light. The bodies from that cemetery were moved all long time ago to the Bear Creek Methodist Cemetery ay Patterson and Highway 6. It is now empty and grown over.

    Whooof , that snake was something. You ought not to go out there alone. Just discovered your video. 👍. You ought to check out Armand bayou sometime. Great place as well.

      It is not allowed to camp in the reservoir. No fires. But I've seen evidence of people camping out there.

    Was the snake venomous?

    • @stanthereservoirrat5934
      @stanthereservoirrat5934  3 года назад +2

      I wasn't positive but I think it was a cottonmouth, which is poisonous.

      @@stanthereservoirrat5934 I will never understand the difference between venomous and poisonous but you’re so lucky 🍀 I bet the cold weather helped out. This was real good footage! I’m glad you’re okay!
