    I just startet trading options with the quote monitor because of you and your Videos and I like it a lot. I'm much faster now in entry and exit my trades. Unfortunately I still have to transmit the order in another pop up window even if I mark the check box to transmit the order instantaneously. Do I have to edit something somewhere else? thank you so much!

      What tool are you using to transmit orders? If you drag the options from the chain into the quote monitor and place the orders in quote monitor, you should not get that additional pop up window.

      @@VerrilloTrading Hi, I use hot keys to transmit my orders. But even if I mark the check box to transmit the order instantaneously- the pop up window still shows up. any guess?

    Hi Chirs,
    Thanks for teaching us new things. I noticed that you trade everyday, and some days multiple trades. some of your trades make more profit, some make less, a few will make loss also. Can you please share with us how do you figure out (after multiple trades) at the end of week/month, how much profit/loss you have made. Thanks.

    • @VerrilloTrading
      @VerrilloTrading  4 года назад

      It's important to record your trades consistently. You can use a sample set of 20-40 trades at a time to see how your edge is performing in the short term. To view profit/loss you can easily run a statement in IBKR.

    Hi Chris.
    Really appreciate you going through the TWS platform as that's what I use and really needed a series like this.
    I was wondering if you had issues with viewing charts from 2018 and before maybe on smaller timeframes.
    A lot of the times it just comes up with a blank chart,
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks,

      Thanks for the kind words! Generally there are some issues with the TWS charts, I haven't tried super long time frames that much but I believe you. Try an index chart in TWS like "SPX" "COMP" or "INDU", Those are charts for the SnP, Nasdaq and Dow indices.

    Are you on Insta?
    and which account are you using on IB cash or margin?
    I tried opening margin but there requirements are quite high. Isn't it?

    How can the (Support/ Resistance) lines be added automatically like an indicator (e.g.... Moving averages, SAR, etc.). For the sake of clarity let's say we only looking at a one-year daily chart. Please advise. If not, then what could be the next best option to achieve this goal?

    Hey Verillo, I asked you a question yesterday and it was of much help, just have another question. Is there a way to customize settings so that as soon as I hit 1:1 risk reward ratio I sell 25%, when I hit 1:2 I sell another 25%? Or do i need to calculate that manually and place take profits in my bracket order from my own calculations?

    • @ahmadelnakhala2127
      @ahmadelnakhala2127 3 года назад

      And 1:1 RR as in lets say distance from entry to stop is 15c, I would like to sell 25% when stock rises 15c, and another 25% when stock rises another 15c. If possible, can it also simultaneously change my stop so when I hit 1:1 RR, my stop loss would be adjusted to my entry, when I hit 1:2 RR, my stop loss would adjust to my 1:1?

    Hey mate, great video. I was using the quote monitor as you have described but now when I click to buy or sell on the bid or ask in the quote monitor an order ticket screen pops up. Do you know how i can disable this? I cannot find any setting and I've no idea why its changed. thx

    • @VerrilloTrading
      @VerrilloTrading  3 года назад +1

      Sometimes in off hours you get the order ticket menu instead of the order appearing on the quote monitor. If you're in live market with data feed, it shouldn't do this.

    I’ve noticed that when I enter my order , and the transmit shows up , the limit order doesn’t not change accordingly with the live bid and ask , and if I take 2 seconds to enter transmit the limit price has already moved , I decided to just set hotkeys without transmit bottom for faster execution , what’s your thoughts ? Can I fix transmit to show live bid and ask ?
