To change prices on Buy Stops I have to type both in manually. When I drag the lines to change prices it only changes the auxiliary price and not the limit price. When I type the new price in Limit or Auxiliary lines in the bottom of the page, the other doesn't change accordingly. It's so frustrating!
Not grasping the difference between your buy and buy limit buttons. Is the buy bottom a market order? you mentioned you set the buy button for a partial profit taker, but wouldn't you use your buy limit order for that? Hopefully you can help clarify, thanks

So for setting up a Short button, would the offset % be (Negative) under Order and Profit Taker, then be (Positive) under the Stop Order? In other words, would it be backwards from the buy button?
This is my same question. What confuses me though is that there is no way to make it exactly opposite of the buy stop limit because the profit taker ans stop order has different order types and parameters available to it. I don't know much about shorting stocks yet so this confuses me.

This is designed to ensure that the price of any one order is in line with an orderly market and to reduce impact any one order has on the market. Our Price Management Algo can automatically manage your price (when needed) in an attempt to avoid such a rejection and get your order filled at a fair price. What does this mean please?

Hi again, I am trying out your settings to create the BuyStopLmt button, and on my TWS the "customize action" box is a little different than yours. I am unsure if I am getting it right. After Action, Size, Order type, I have Lmt Price (+/- offset) and that is greyed out so I am unable to use your settings. Then I have Stop Price (+/- offset) and Stop limit price (+/- offset). Great videi Blake. I trade stocks and futures thru ninjatrader and execute thru NT so not much to set up. Now I am using options more for daytrading and cant execute thru NT. Your "IB series" isnt very long! Do you have plans to do more? If I had to suggest a theme it may "pre setting up orders for execution" Also - do you know of a way to link charts and have one of them the underlying? I can click on a stock in the watchlist and option chain fill with that symbol, but when I click on an option all the charts default to the option symbol price. Sorry for being long winded!

@@migooo7466 well for the half position you can create the hotkeys , CTRL+H twice will bring you in the hotkeys section. then u can choose the reverse position , instead of 100% just put 25%. but it seems u can only have one of these hotkeys at the same time.... hope it helps.

I have had nothing but bad experiences with Interactive Brokers. Their platform is expensive and unstable. I've lost thousand of dollars on options scalping and swinging because of unreliable access and technical difficulties. Their customer service is sub-par and overall a bad experience. Wish I had never tested them out.
