I'm so glad you point out the necessity of checking not only your load straps and chains but also your vehicle condition during the trip. So many people don't have the commonsense to think this way. ❤️👍🇺🇲
You crack me up when you do your commentary to your videos. I am also glad that you check, double check and triple check your equipment every time you stop or change surfaces. You never know what your going to lose and cause an accident without even knowing.
Score man! That could have cost you a bundle to get those parts or even just to get the steel to make them would have been several thousand dollars! I bet Dave was happy that you were able to find all those chains, and the Yankum rope! I bet that was a thousand dollar rope!
Nice tidy up. Shame so few people do clean up after themselves. More people should also re-check load security once some bumping around has helped things settle
Alan, I laughed at the end asking people not to hit dislike and just move on. All your videos are really fun to watch and you have a great outlook on life and a good sense of adventure. I'd be surprised if anyone hit dislike on any of your videos. I'm looking forward to more videos on the build of your fortress!
Great video, thanks for taking us along. As said before, great employee you are. Seem like a good ole dude. Real genuine. I appreciate your attitude. Keep it up.✅
Loved this video. You are the Mcgyver of heavy equipment! I was so happy that NOTHING MAJOR went wrong. You have been through enough! Thank you for taking us along on your adventure!❤
Yes Alan needs to talk to Dave. Need to figure out who the dead beats are that can't load tools after the job is done. For real. Chains, binders and a big A rope? What else was lost.
@@chrismartin223 yeah it's probably one I've missed. It's I own a small farm and have to hire out at times plus I run work for a construction company. Irritating when later you can't find something.
You all are great ambassadors of the land, to see you guys cleaning up your mess after the snow is gone is fantastic. Most people wouldn’t give a damn and that pisses me off. Great job, Alan.
Nice that you were able to get that thumb and I know you will be able to get that on you machine and put it to use. I love the views of Utah and am amazed how different it is from the east coast where I live.
Alen you are brave man heading up there on your own but of course it’s nothing you are used to. You definitely found some treasures out there, can’t believe someone left all their recovery gear, chains and a binder along with the rest of their gear behind. Nice job and I’m glad you made made it out of there without getting stuck or running out of fuel. Thanks for sharing your video! 👍🏻
He did mention. There was lots of snow when they picked up the heavy equipment. So lots of their gear got lost in the snow. If Allen had not gone back. Some one else would have gotten the gear.
Thanks good to see you doing channel I've only just started watching but great to see how things are going at the Fortress and all the repairs done on the hevey vehicles keep it up cheers from Australia mate 👍😎
Hey , Always something going on at the Fortress, good on you. You are a prime example of simple motivation and what you can have by just acting every day! After forty seven crop’s, my farming experience would lead me to look at those solenoids on the tilt mechanism, they will quite often just corrode just enough to not transmit power properly and that is from just sitting. Good luck!
Agree with you there. Those pumps dont run enough to burn out in the life time of the trailer usually. unless they were ran dry, or dirt in the system. Can you believe all the stuff HeavyD and the crew left behind? Remind me to drive to their location after they have finished up a big job. That a treasure right there for us cowboys.
Alan your some work of art as always doing something or keeping the shop living up to its name with SPARKS everywhere. Loving your little field and picking up those extra goodies. Keeping a happy viewer excited in Ireland M8.
Great job Alan your videos are very helpful to normal guys like me. I'm 54 and you work alot harder than I can keep the faith and keep on trucking brother!!!!
How many of you are subscribed to the Sparks Motors channel? Great content, and buy Alan's Wizard shirt. I have mine, and the quality is totally wizard!
Allen your a very considerate person. This was enjoyable to watch..I totally agreed with having the 4 wheel drive going down those muddy back roads ..great to see the power wash too!! Thanks for sharing
It must be frustrating that all the broken down equipment keeps you from working on the fortress. That was nice of you to bring back what was left behind.
Alan, Love the video. It's really cool that you were able to find a use for that old piece of iron and give it a new home. On the the way out to the area to pick it up and you were talking about not having cell service, worrisome bud. Did you ever think of getting a Sat Phone for your adventures when you go off the grid? Would that work if you were alone or on a recovery with Dave's crew and things went really pear shaped? I see how capable everyone is but that extra bit of tech in your tools or go bags could be a real life saver. I love watching your adventures and the ones you participate in with Dave's crew and can't wait to see more. Thank you for all the content you supply and it's really great how your collabration with Dave fits so well with your content.
Wizard! Waste not, want not.....put it to work for your time & effort.....love how you stress the importance of securing the load & doing a simple walk around...an ounce of prevention can put a cluster tuck at bay! Lol! Keep up the amazing vlogs....🪝💪👍🤠
Always find something left behind when lots of people are involved in a project, well done for clearing up and recovering the surplus items mislaid from the first phase of the recovery! 👍👏👏👏
The care you take to make sure your load is secure, and the condition of the vehicle should be emulated by many more people. Safe driving with a secure load is of paramount importance.
I recognize you as a do it yourselfer. You want it done, easy you know just do it yourself. That's good picking up the extra crap. Who'd know, you would. Good man. Sparks has a good employee among the others.
Very well done young man. My father and his father rescued similar gear like backhoes .. before I was born! Hence your journey gives me insight into theirs .. zowie that's seeing an image that I never got to see. THANK YOU SO MUCH
Have you ever heard of anyone that pushed the subscribe and the like button because they were told to ????......maybe 3 years ago in the early days but now everyone knows....we’re not stupid, as neither are you....gotta say yer one of my favorites..... I watch all of yer stuff......God Bless You in Jesus’ name.......
Hi Allen, I love to watch your videos. You are an interesting guy. LOL. Anyway, i used to be a heavy haul trucker. The best thing to use to lubricant chair binders is with dish soap. If you get into salted roads, it will not allow the binders to rust. If you get rain, it washes them off.
My God that's beautiful country. It's the only way I get to see it is on these video's. God bless and love how the fortress is coming along and the heavy equipment. Keep up the good videos.
Hey MtnFortressLabs! Greetings from Vancouver British Columbia Canada! Thumbs up for the thumb rescue vid! Stay hydrated dude! Thanks for all the nice vids! Ride ride ride!
Thank you for the content. I am in a very similar line of work and love to watch other people's problem-solving. In the past month I was turned on to Heavy D's page which I enjoyed and that is how I found yours. We all understand that RUclips is a business and having a page is essentially a second if not third job. Please do not let it turn into an infomercial. I understand there has to be some plugs and commercials here or there but those are the exact reasons why people initially went to computer-based media as opposed to terrestrial and Network
No need to mention dislikes I don't think. "Like and Subscribe, it's free and it really helps out the channel - and the work we do here at the Gold? Mine" - should do it. Are you doing any mining? Are you building any metal out-buildings as a project? Building projects can be processing centers, storage, workshops, and so on. You have enough equipment to straddle together an operation; all you need now is a gold mine! Glad to see your subscriptions are up to a point where a bit of income will help your operation now. Congrats on 100k!
I spent years pressure washing heavy machinery with a heated diesel power pressure washer. The thing was a beast, only bit I didn't like was getting underneath the stuff, absolutely no way to stay dry.
hi Wizard, im typing this near the begining of your video, i have noticed your videos are normally alot shorter so having a much longer video is a better format and i think its better than the shorter ones and you should try for a longer videos inthe future.
I hope Dave Sparks truly appreciates having such a valuable employee
Dave gets to make plenty of $ from all his new followers that watch because of Allen.
I always think that too.
why he smiles when wizards around
Sparks should be happy for all the chains Alan recovered 😅
Dave is an watchable knob.
I'm so glad you point out the necessity of checking not only your load straps and chains but also your vehicle condition during the trip. So many people don't have the commonsense to think this way. ❤️👍🇺🇲
Like the new Hat.............Wizard, you have found a good home.......You make a good fit.......JB..............
I dont hit like any RUclips videos but I like all of yours because I wanna see the fortress complete!
Nice driving and great job cleaning up bonus on finding the extra rope and chains 👊
everything is an adventure for the wizard god bless you Allen
You crack me up when you do your commentary to your videos. I am also glad that you check, double check and triple check your equipment every time you stop or change surfaces. You never know what your going to lose and cause an accident without even knowing.
A thumb recovery turned into a extra 2 grand in recovery gear found ,Alan your a good dude to have around God bless and stay safe out there.

Alan you are the best Wizard I know! Be careful always !!
Great video, thanks for taking us along. As said before, great employee you are. Seem like a good ole dude. Real genuine. I appreciate your attitude. Keep it up.✅

Good job Allen. ❤
As always excellent ‘teaching moments’ with a hard working experienced expert, which Alan gives 🎬🥇
Alan! You need to go to Spark and collect your finders fee for the recovery gear that was left behind. :D
Use of company truck kinda equals that out. Loyalty is priceless!
Yes Alan needs to talk to Dave. Need to figure out who the dead beats are that can't load tools after the job is done. For real. Chains, binders and a big A rope? What else was lost.
@@cjsmith1760 You didn't watch that job, did you? They loaded at night in deep, deep snow...

was going to comment the same thing
Nice work Allen, and good score. Its great to see you living the dream, take care of yourself.
You all are great ambassadors of the land, to see you guys cleaning up your mess after the snow is gone is fantastic. Most people wouldn’t give a damn and that pisses me off. Great job, Alan.
Love your work ethic. Glad you were able to recover all that stuff. Can't wait to see more work on the fortress.
Nice that you were able to get that thumb and I know you will be able to get that on you machine and put it to use. I love the views of Utah and am amazed how different it is from the east coast where I live.
Great informative video Alan, loved your work on this recovery job. Cheers from Oz

Nice job and I’m glad you made made it out of there without getting stuck or running out of fuel. Thanks for sharing your video! 👍🏻
It was their gear he was picking up.
Great video Alan, no wonder they call you the wizard - Alan The Wiz. A good job done very well.
He did mention. There was lots of snow when they picked up the heavy equipment. So lots of their gear got lost in the snow.
If Allen had not gone back. Some one else would have gotten the gear.
Hi Alan, good to see you and your channel doing so good. Thank you for the ride along.❤️🙏
Thanks for the ride along Alan, sorry we dint do much work. 😃 👍
Given the places Heavy D goes on the regular, I feel they should probably need to have a couple of satellite phones.
He has emergency locator beacons
Thanks good to see you doing channel I've only just started watching but great to see how things are going at the Fortress and all the repairs done on the hevey vehicles keep it up cheers from Australia mate 👍😎
Always love a tease seeing a Raptor lol and great job on always being there helping lots of fun y'all get to have😁👊🙏🇺🇸😎

Thanks for letting me tag along. Best.
Great recovery especially of the gear left behind...man that adds up and it's not good for business. Good job wizard!!
love your technique for mentally dividing the project into 5 sections.
Alan, oh boy.. you bless us with such and upload schedule and that length ✌🏼

Awesome recovery Alan. ❤ Happy you're getting things done with out any sleepy incidents❤nor majors. ❤ Ur great.
Good job on doing the clean up , it’s funny how much stuff was left behind. You made it look easy as always. GO WIZARD GO
Can you and Dave adopt each other. I think you're a great uncle to his cool nephew. Really happy he found your fortress and you guys are buds.
Allen your a very considerate person. This was enjoyable to watch..I totally agreed with having the 4 wheel drive going down those muddy back roads ..great to see the power wash too!! Thanks for sharing
Glad all is well on the thumb recover. Even got a little snooze. Good for you Allen.
Hey Wizzard it would be cool to see a full behind the sences or rather behind the cables of what goes into a recovery start and finish
Nice video Alan, glad you got a thumb now !!
👍
I did a lot of that in my younger days thanks for sharing
It must be frustrating that all the broken down equipment keeps you from working on the fortress. That was nice of you to bring back what was left behind.
Lookout Mountain in Georgia is the closest Rock City to where I live. Rock Cities are everywhere. Fun drive Allen aka The Wizard.

Another great video how you keep going is beyond me 😂 your always so full of energy keep up the great work
Feels like it's a day trip with you when you're talking in the truck - Love it ! Vickie

Chains on the box side
Genuine question, can you explain what you mean by this? Thanks 😊
@Pure Heroin when he was loading the chains he was bashing the chains against the side of the box
