Oh my gosh that lady was awesome and extremely respectful of those people's entire lives 😊
In the words of Aretha RESPECT! 😘
@estatesalegoddessChicago another great female figure . We sure have some amazing vocalists out there 😀
I love the enthusiasm of your estate sale hostess. She's amazing!
What are you talking about? He did most of the talking clown, like he always does talking over people
I didn't forget about you in the electronics and train room, Ty. Thanks for a wonderful tour!
@@katherinekaufman9856 I wasn't there loser
Thanks Cuteness! Appreciate the encouragement. 😊
A lovely woman indeed.
When you find that right item that has so much history behind it and you gain insight into the owners life, it becomes a piece of history. Awesome sale.
Thank you! Appreciate the love!
Those red weights are shoes for divers so they can stay (and walk) on the bottom to do work like welding
They're not, they're leg irons for exercising! My husband said for diving at first but when I looked they came up as leg irons for exercising
@@juliescott2637 You're probably right. There are weighted diver boots as well.
There are round holes in them that you would put a dumbbell handle through & then you would put small weights on each side & then do your leg lifts for weight lifting.
@@juliescott2637They're not, leg irons, Leg irons are used for prisoners ankles. These are weighted shoes. Sold in sports stores for Deep sea diving AND exercising. That's why it comes up as both.
Not only is she so knowledgeable but kind and sweet! She's probably the best wife, mother, grandma! She seems like alot of fun too. Amazing stuff...I will for sure be online buying!
I’m all those. 😂 Anniversary 21 years yesterday. Daughter a college professor. Granddaughter is an itty bitty sweetheart 😍 Aquarius. Love people fiercely. Loves tequila and jazz. Whataminit did this turn into a personal ad? Jk Thank you so much for watching. Will live stream the sale. 🤞🏽
Absolutely love this style of video. Awesome Pete!
Same. I dig it. Fun to imagine what I would buy.
I find many estate sale people don’t even take the time to understand the products and the history. This couple is different - they truly care. Amazing
We’re trying our best to change that narrative. Thank you so much for your kindness.
They seem like an awesome couple! Thanks for sharing this.
Aw shucks! Today is our 22nd wedding anniversary 🎉
@@estatesalegoddessChicagohappy anniversary! Celebrate love and have an amazing day! ❤
Yeah, but its sad to see a persons life long collection liquidated in this way. I really hope I get around to selling my own stuff before I kick the bucket.
@@nychris2258 No point getting attached to material things. You can't take any of it with you at the end.
@@AcidOllie Exactly so why not sell it all yourself before you die and pass on money instead of stuff? I enjoy my collections but Id rather enjoy selling it myself and giving the money to whoever I choose. I dont like the idea of the stuff I enjoyed collecting just getting sold off by strangers for pennies on the dollar.
very respectful, and professionally done video in a house full of gold, history and excitement! and a lot of WOW'S...My hat goes off to Lynn & her estate sale team. Must have took 6 months or more to price and present ALL that gold. I cant even imagine how much stuff we didn't get to see......
I can feel Peter's excitement. A man after my own heart. I would just as giddy walking through there discovery stuff too. Love it.
In Peter’s voice-LOVE IT 😊
" I can feel Peter's excitement "
Loved this video! All of you hosts were so well-informed. Thanks for giving us a glimpse of the adult room - this helped me realize that this home was a Safe Space IN ITS ENTIRETY.
Thank you so much ❤
That train collection is beautiful! 🎉
What a cool experience. I need to visit an estate sale someday just to look at all the artifacts from the past.
Most def
It's mind blowing to me how a couple guys can accumulate so much cool stuff throughout their life and travels. It makes me feel like I'm not doing anything with my life lol
I feel like that at every sale. I always promise to up my game. To do better. Help people more. Be kinder.
Most if the stuff kind of seem like junk tbh lol
The couple who lived there, lived life to the fullest as we all should do, great video and straight people use that stuff as well in that room, nothing shocking there.
Thank you Peter & Carlos for sharing this video with us.
That gaff should be a museum I’m 50 and I recognise loads of that stuff . Good video Peter . Where’s my shout out ? Gareth Lloyd in England 🏴
Hi again Pete, you presented that last bit of your video like a professional, respectful and very WISE business man. You are making us laugh when a piece of your video is an uncomfortable topic. Makes you at a loss for word......, lol
That house has so much history in it thanks Pete for showing us! that couple is awesome!!
This is absolutely insane. I'm loving this, Pete! And I'm only 42 minutes in yet. One thing's for sure, the people that owned this home were impeccably wealthy. There's probably one single dresser or big box in there that is filled with stuff valued at more than everything that I own to my name. 😂Hermès is one heck of an expensive brand name; as are dozens and dozens of other brands mentioned and seen in this place! One Hermès tie is like $400. I bought my entire van for $1,200 used. They bought 3 ties for that same $1,200, and have literal hundreds of 'em. Looks like they had one heck of a good life! Thanks for sharing this with us, Peter. I hope the turnout is great for them. If the prices are right, they'll probably do super well. Now I'm curious if they let you buy anything in advance, or gave you some sort of discount in exchange for making this video or what. Maybe I'll find out soon. Like I said, 42 minutes into the video. Okay, back to the video!
Now that I think about it... They must have put hundreds upon hundreds of (wo)man hours into cleaning, organizing, re-organizing, and pricing all of this stuff! Literally hundreds of thousands of items in this place. OMG! O_O
So much knowledge!
Thank you for bringing us with you on that adventure
I'd love to sit down and talk to the gentlemen that lived there! I can only imagine the stories they could share!
Great video, Pete! Thank you for sharing.
I’d definitely attend if it was local. Very nice stuff and I suspect Peter only scratched the surface in this episode….
Just found your channel yesterday and cant stop watching since and its good to see a fellow Polish American living the American dream.
should do this more often pete, visiting collections
Agree!
Love this estate sale!! So many memories come back with the items in that home. Love the camera room the best😊❤😘
The train room also is up there too!!!😁❤📷❤📸
Well thats a very nice woman😊 she know a lot of things, very educational for me thanks!
Thats gotta be millions of dollars worth of stuff there so many cool items to buy wow!
Come? You’ll have a blast!
Millions? Where? I’m just not seeing really that much value at all there. A lot of random nick nacks and clothes. And bdsm stuff 😂. People keep saying how cool. Which stuff is cool exactly? Maybe the tv….
@@nicholasnoriega1205 just my opinion relax
Love x100 !! Would love to see more of you Ty and Lynn ! Nice change up
😘
Hello Dolly appropriate. Like a Museum Best episode ever. Basement was actual my Favorite area Old School Man Cave!
I live in Logan square , I know that house , beautiful neighborhood .
WOW good for you 😂
See you at the sale?
God bless those people that collected a lot of stuff and some of those trains are worth thousands of dollars I wish I had the money to take that whole deck because I would take it and I would cherish it. I hope that train set goes to people that will care for it. God bless you Peter for sharing this god the people selling everything. There is so much great great stuff in this home. It’s unbelievable. There is millions in that house. If I was a buyer and I had money, I would buy the whole home as it sits and leave everything the way it is..
The amount of value there ….. is unbelievable! My mind is blown
Interestingly, 'Corduroy' is a special cloth that originated in France. The name means 'Cloth of Kings'. There is also the history of the cloth called 'denim', which is what jeans and jackets are made from. The word comes from the town in France where it was created...The town is called 'Nims", so 'denim' in French means 'from de Nims'.
😮 Thank you! I never knew that. I’m a textile lover and collect and UTILIZE handmade quilts. Would love to find a RUclips learning channel on textiles and designer vintage clothing. All periods.
@@estatesalegoddessChicago Please accept my apologies for not having responded to you sooner. In answer to your question, I know very little about textiles. My comment was inspired by my love of the origin and history of words rather than having any special knowledge of cloth, quilts, or textiles. Forgive me for making you believe otherwise. Still, if I come across some words or descriptions in your field of expertise I will write you immediately. Again, thank you for writing to me.
Amazing!! Thanks For Sharing ❤ From Ontario, 🇨🇦
I do enjoy your accent, Peter🤠, Wow that house was incredible! and love to Honey kitty😊
Fantastic Video I was drooling all the way through especially at some of the electronics. Lazerdisc actually carried being popular in Japan till the mid 90s from memory. 🙂
Beautiful video !!! Hope you record more of this kind of!!! Love it
Very good video. That's going to be a great sale. Really nice stuff they acquired in their lives 👍
Those fella's had a very eccentric tastes. Some mind blowing stuff there. Very cool. To all involved, thanks for sharing. Really enjoyed it.
Wow. The history. The trains. All the items. I would be there for hours. ( faint)
That train room, was awesome.
Great video, nice couple , Peter should have a show on P.B.S.
Overdue!
Extremely interesting video
Thank you 🙏🏽
Amazing Video House was full of History
Brava Ma'm that you return items to the family when you can. Well done. ❤
Always! Sometimes a birth certificate or a lock of hair is all that the heart can hold.
@estatesalegoddessChicago i totally understand having lost my husband of 42 yrs i would be heartbroken if i didn't have certain things of his. I wish you all good things on the sale. You have show such respect to the owners.
Having a Dachshund named Frank as my best little buddy, I love those silver Dachshunds for the table.
Lovely people,great video Pete!
Aw thank you kindly!
So interesting. Wonderful video. ❤❤💚💙😎
Thank you! We enjoyed Peter!
the red "shoes" look like the old foot weights used with the old diving suits - with the big brass helmet and airlines runnign tothe surface.
Oh , that would make sense
Thanks for the Tour, Peter! BTW, the cast metal red foot weights are for diving.
Diving? 🤔
Deep sea Scuba diving.
That is an impressive collection & it will be an epic Estate Sale for sure! I’m in Milwaukee.. very tempted to take a trip down 😎
C’mon! Coffee and cupcakes in the food truck stationed in front of the estate for early birds. Plenty not one, but plenty of everything. Well you know that. 🌞
This is such a great video Peter! I am commenting at the part where you're going through the dining area. Everything in that home is so fascinating and unique. I immediately went over and subscribed to the lady's channel. I'm so looking forward to watching, learning, and hopefully purchasing some unique items as well. This is awesome!
Wow - an amazing home with beautiful items! It would be cool if the home was opened as a store or a year long estate sale and people could come and buy - would take month/years to sell all of the items! So cool!
Will do an after and post on our website. Should be interesting
You have gone from "straight to business pawn shop guy" to someone who is almost a celebrity, good job!
We were just discussing how hard working Peter and his staff are. Straight through. I asked him if he wanted to sit for a moment but he powered on! 😊
WOW YOU ROCK ...... LOVE YOUR CHANNEL..
LALIQUE opened in 1921 and is STILL producing glassware so some of this might not be as old as you first thought. The photos might be older but maybe not the crystal.
Loved this video. I would love to shop this sale and also hang out with the host and hostess. So cool!
Yes we have fun at the sales. Ty prepares a playlist and the customers are really nice.
Absolutely beautiful. Guys, be smart about shrinkage. Times are crazy.
Thank you! We have a large team and will overstaff this one. Also Sheriff’s Police on premises.
Its about time i watched Pulp fiction again. Bring out the gimp 😂😂
Lol
The gimp is sleeping.
Freaks
Fascinating content, well done Pete
Oh fascinating story of the couple who lived there too!
That house is a unbelievable find. The red waits are for diving back in the day. Love the work Peter. Peace and happiness Russ 🧡
I've always wanted my own fetish room in my house but there just isn't the space for it! Oh well, one day it'll happen. Great video Pete.
Fistbump into a handshake...awkard... they set my boy up😅😅
😂😂😂
I wouldn't have the will to organize and sell all that. I'd keep forever procrastinating.
That - was insane. The line will be miles long to get in. Petr - post a follow-up link for the items that didn't sell.
Great video, so many cool stuff
We love your accent Peter ❤
cool video Pete, its fun to see you outside the business
Great video Pete. My grandfather used to have a basement train room much like the one in the video. He passed away about 15-20 years ago, this brings back many memories of my youth. I still have one of his trains somewhere in storage, makes me want to dig it out. Much Love
Now you know why health insurance is 600 per month. So guys like this estate owner can have a ranch in Argentina.
Dang true
Medical care and education should be 100% free for everyone..
This isn't just an ordinary family Dr though, he was right at the top running dozens and dozens of hospitals and his partner was a model. A lot of very skilled work and knowledge built this estate.
@@k1_w3 "General Practitioner"? If this means what I think it does, then I probably don't need to explain how a for profit health system itself is the problem and not individuals.
I also quit cigarettes with Alan Carrs book. 46 years then quit same as you. Wow. I still refer that book. He has one on drinking too
29:29 Health weighed shoes for Body building, foot, leg workout. Some are made by the York Manufacturing Co.. Note: (You can attach extra weights with a bar through the holes in the sides)
Finally an answer we can rock with! Makes sense. Lots of exercise equipment in the cellar. Thank you
They are actually both, Sold in sports stores as, Weighted shoes, Marketed for deep sea diving AND exercise.
And probably not intended for but, I guess if you wanted to throw somebody off the bridge and make sure that they went to the bottom, that would work too.
Wow this is truly amazing loads of amazing items great video Pete wish I lived closer to visit the auction
I have a poster hanging on my wall of Mr International and back in 1999 I purchased a pair of his bikini bottoms 27:51
I know ya'll did a great job sooo proud of ya'll ❤🎉🥂
Cool collection
Mt favorite video ever. Pete in the wild. Lol
Crazy to go from some really old stuff to seeing a regular 74" tv lol
You can still find Philco repair manuals. Their products are often worthy investments and just need a lil love to fix.
It’s plugged in. I’ll turn it on later today and see if it works
That Back Room looked like something out of the Horror Movie Hostel
Think about that island that was covered up last year and think about how connected this massin was to the govt. They're all in a cess pool sex cult all with millions of dollars each, while the people get more poor
Pleasure Room to many. Get over it.
@@hippydippy just like the island was... No biggie
@hippydippy what am I getting over? just an observation. watch the movie.
Oh man I need one of those BMW jackets to go with my bike.
Gonna call it how it is.. Absolute Hoarders. That's far beyond collectors.
Seen a few nice pieces, but dayum is there a lot of kitsh and garbage...
Tea sets, trains, and torture - oh my! 😯
Love the video thanks for sharing
Happy to see the comments are clean, Tbh nothing was surprising for me in the BDSM part, as soon as everyone is consentent everyone can do what they want ^^ (also bdsm Play need a lot of training, what I'm sure the majority of people don't imagine)
Me too. BDSM play does need proper training. Safe words and more. It’s not just physical. More to it. Consensual.
I'm glued to my phone and Mr Peter is telling me to stay to the end . I'm not going anywhere lol
I enjoyed seeing all the things they had collected hah.
The Sony that Pete identified as a Mini Disc player is not one at all. It's a Video Editing Controller, that's a floppy disk drive at the front (Not Mini Disc).
😮 I’ll tell Ty to double check! Thanks Doll.
This beautiful home is loaded with historical items/excellent piece's in wonderful condition..😍😮 Love the ttrain room and nautical room..🤗 Lynn and Ty are really friendly and knowledgable I wish I could be there at this sale..🎉 Good luck and much love to all..😊 Take care..👍❤🔥🤙
the kids today don't even know about these trains, most of the people that have these trains are dying off
The yellow box, looks like some of Mr O's model portfolio pictures
Very cool video Pete
The red "shoes" are definitely for exercise. They are leg iron weighted shoes.
😮 yes! Thank you!
There are round holes in them that you would put a dumbbell handle through & then you would put small weights on each side & then do your leg lifts for weight lifting.
@@darrellbeebe3893 Goodness! That’s a serious workout! No wonder. Lots of Body Builders books in this estate. And dig, we found a poster of someone I knew as a child, SERGIO OLIVA. He went up against Arnold Schwartzna for the Mr Olympia title! Small world.
That looks like a lot of hours that couple puts into staging and pricing. I hope they price it well to sell out since people are hurting out there and stuff like this is sitting around not doing anything on Ebay.
We research everything and price to move. We work with Resellers and are respectful of our Client.
There is plenty of money out there for high quality stuff such as this. ( that's why they cut taxes only for the rich BTW) True collectors have extreme wealth, even from the items that they already own!
@@estatesalegoddessChicago If you were in New England, there would be hundreds of people waiting outside for this sale! (no exaggeration) I would be there as well!
Mentioning a few prices would have added to the tour. I have no idea how they will cope with a large crowd and security. Perhaps they will limit how many people can enter at a time.
We do this often and have it down to a science. Let me say THANK YOU for your comment. I encourage people to ask questions but many are shy believe it or not. We have an extremely large team and everyone knows their area. We have two armed security professionals. We manage to keep a nice shopping flow. Hell I don’t want to wait in line for too long. 😊 Prices stupid reasonable and yet we are respectful of our clients needs. Shirts beautiful NEW all sizes colors in packaging begins at $10 Perfect Father’s Day Gifts!
hahahaha, bdsm room is epic, peter would look so cool in some leather, lol
😂😂😂
That's actually worth going to if you are into spending a grip of money. It is regardless of the transportation costs.
That was a quick fist bump to handshake transition in the beginning
😂
