@@PartTimeDiscGolf I think an important thing to cover also would be how hard you grip and where your pressure is, like if you pinch your index and thumb or are more “backloaded” applying a lot of pressure to the other 3 fingers. Just a suggestion, thanks again!
Nice vid, thanks! I've been bagging the Detour since the gyro box came out and wanted to mention that you may want to consider checking out the stock neutron run. I found the stock neutron Detour to be more stable than the gyro detour, so much that I took the gyro version out and replaced it with the stock run - well, not quite stock, I have the twisty James stamped version but still more stable than the gyro detour. Looking forward to trying to glow detour (although my glow Uplink kind of flies like a detour.)
Great showcase! I bag Steady Ring and Sunny Peach, but swap Neutron Detour in and out of the bag because it's so good! I might have to buy the Eclipse to pair up with Neutron, flight looks good!
Awesome review! Never threw a Detour until a buddy said “hey throw this”, on a 275ish ft turnover shot hole. (I have a terrible forehand lol) Parked it! So now can’t wait to pick up this special run!
I bag Steady Ring and Sunny Peach for turnover/hyzerflip and straight shots. I frequently swap Steady Ring Peach and Neutron Detour depending on the day, both are very similar. Looking at the video, Sunny Peach looks to be very similar to Eclipse Detour. All awesome discs, Steady/Ring + Sunny Peach and Neutron + Eclipse Detour are awesome pairs.
@@ScroDiddly yeah, very similar all around. In my experience depending on the mold, ring can be a bit more understable, but not by a lot. Ring plastic feels gummier and softer than steady, and can have a bit more dome. Not a huge difference at all, I bought one because it looks amazing!
The exact review i needed. You compared with not only the palooza run, but with a red one like mine haha. Although my palooza one is 173 and im getting a max weight one so it will be even more so. Cant wait for mine next week
Nice. It’s a bit more stable which is what I was hoping for. Was dealing with a lot of wind so it will be interesting to see it in the woods. I imagine it will be money in the woods. Just a dead straight flyer.
The MVP Mids are the best! I now bag too many, because I won't leave them at home😅 Paradox, Uplink, Echo, Hex, Reactor and Pyro, I need them all! Haven't tried the Matrix, and probably don't need the Deflector or Runway...
Detour and trail- hands down some of the best plastic I’ve thrown in years!
Can you imagine a Glow Trail! Let’s go!!! I want it.
I love the detour .
@@PartTimeDiscGolf YA BUD! Id love a more, slightly stable version of that trail. plus glow plastic- c'mon
@@PartTimeDiscGolf I can't help but think a heavy fission trail would go so far, so easily!
Wish you’d do a video on your grip and how you throw, you get an insane amount of snap!!
Sure, I can do that. I’m not really a form guy, but I could do a video on my grip.
@@PartTimeDiscGolf that would be awesome!! Thanks!!

Nice work showing the difference in stability. I still haven't gotten a detour, but mvp keeps coming out with good reasons to try one.
If you’re gonna try one, this eclipse one is a good one to start with. Sick stamp and flies great.
Look forward to your woods round w/ the four terror discs!
Me too. Thanks man!

Yes! The Detour is so good for that!
Haven't thrown that mold. But my Clash Peach is hard to replace! Peach has a Sunny plastic that stabilizes it kinda like those 2. Thanks man.
Sounds good. Haven’t thrown a Peach yet but need to check it out.

@@PartTimeDiscGolf I love Clash. they have great plastic and discs for everyone to throw. Very smooth edges too.
@@TheVoitokas is steady ring and stock steady pretty much the same? I assumed they were and didn't feel a need to try ring. They're purdy tho!

Glow Detour vs glow mana?
Oh nice! That sounds like a good one.
