The door lock switches, were not working in my 2015 RAM 1500 (driver's door). Did as you said, and they came to life. Thank you men.

there's a video on how to reset that somewhere. I had a 2016 that had the same problem. I think you hold it down for 15 seconds hold it up for 15 seconds and then it resets itself and it should work.

Thanks that was easy. Driver side white plastic saddle latch broke off. With a little supper glue, patience, and your video worked like a charm!

Just wanted to chime in with a Thank you! Your video was very informative, and it worked. However when putting it back together I somehow managed to pop out the internals of the switch and had a little spring and a little plastic piece come flying out. But I kept at it and figured out how it all went back together and it's working great now. Keep up the good work. Take care.

Thanks worked well. I ordered a replacement that would not allow unlocking doors. Your clean contact process saved the oe part, although i used wd-40
Great video! The only thing I would suggest is not to use dielectric grease in connectors. Use electric grease instead. Dielectric grease is used as an insulator, not ideal for metal on metal electrical connections. Use dielectric only on the porcelain part of your spark plugs to prevent carbon tracking and ease of removal of boots in the future.

hey i gotta tell ya this video helped me out a lot! but i got a question. my node lights were green just like all the other analog lights in the truck... now the driver side node is blue... same assembly, just took it out and blew it out... wtf

Having a similar problem on my 09 Ram. My conclusion is the copper on one of the little round pads for the door lock is pretty much all worn off. I just ordered one off ebay.

I replaced the whole thing and I still got the problem it works if I unplug the fuse and plug it back in but not for a long time

Great video. I have a 2017 Ram Big Horn 1500 and lights for the mirror adjustment on the door panel don’t light up. I bought the truck used so I don't know if they are supposed to light up or not. I saw a previous reply to a similar question regarding replacing the bulbs and you said they are in the circuit board. I went to the dealer and they said they are not supposed to light up. I can't believe they would not have them light up because you can't adjust your mirrors at night if they don't without opening the door or blindly feeling for them. The letters around the key fob insert don't light up and another switch on the dash doesn't either. Do you know the answer?
They light up lol idk who told u this but all of these master switch mods have indicator lights ( orange for mirrors) and a back light green to light the buttons when headlights are on or when car is in "on" mode ( key switched to accessories)

My 2012 RAM driver switch will roll the driver window down but won't roll up the window I believe the switch is broke your thoughts

Help, I have a 2002 jeep liberty sport. On my window switch(which is only the fron center for all windows) well it rolls all windows up and down except front passenger, it will roll down sometimes but won't go up. Like now its cracked open and won't go up or down. I bought a new switch and came with the pigtail, I put new switch in n still not working. Do I re wire the new pigtail of wires it came with? Or is it a bigger issue?ty
Great video. But please do one to show how to get the window up when there is a broken button on the switch. My DS window button is broken and I took it apart like u did and one of the little white plastic brackets broke off. Is there something else I can use to connect w the green panel contacts and add enough pressure to get the window to work???
Thank you, for a temporary fix to JUST get the window back up you can energize the window regulator motor by using a jump pack with alligator clips and wire and connect the clips to where the plug plugs into the motor. and that should make the motor spin.
My friend I have this code in my Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 2014 . The driver door switch not working even the light in the door handle even the cup holder light not working as well . All in the driver door . All this issues happens after car washing by steam. Can you give me a solution????

Hi, thank you f or your video. Unfortunately, I messed up my auto switch. There is a spring that came off of one of them and a tiny plastic part. Both switches (auto) are now jammed. Can you help?
Hello Syed, I just watched this video last night and followed it step by step. But the same thing happened to me with the little spring and little plastic piece. I actually had to take it apart and carefully put it back together and now it works perfectly. So the corrosion WAS the original problem which was fixed with the electrical cleaner and q-tip method. If your still having trouble with the spring and the little plastic piece let me know and I'll post a video on how to reinstall those. Good luck to you.

I had to lay mine in the unit first then place the circuit board ontop of it. Just make sure you line everything up correctly and it should screw down nicely.
I have a 2014 Ram Laramie 2500 and lights for the mirror adjustment on the door panel don’t light up anymore on those switches. Did you see bulbs in there that are replaceable or is that somehow part of the circuit board?
Not quite sure the bulbs are replaceable. There attached to the circuit board I believe
