Watch carefully: newer Serum versions have the LFO's "mode" set to "off", whilst in this video it is set to "env". Set it to "env" anyhow.

Im very interested in an intro song breakdown
Ok so I took some time to think about this vid some more and after coming back with the intent to spend more time. I'm seeing what I overlooked the first watch. Making kicks is such a simple concept, just a sine with some vol and pitch automation.But after really watching and playing with it I'm seeing the big difference a tiny adjustment anywhere along the line goes. This time I got my kick sounding %90 the same. I'm not trying to copy the sound exactly to have the sound, I want to copy it to understand what you do to it. If i can listen to your kick and make it the same, that means when I'm trying to fit a kick in a mix, I can then make the adjustments I want for that song!

Just two more cents, in the future if you do a vid that mostly covers serum or other small vsts, could you zoom in alittle, I can barely see his serum, I definitely can't see what numbers he set things too

I'll be real here, this kick doesn't even sound mid to me, the breaks had much more interesting sounds.
