These new AI technologies are awesome, you talk and you get the sound you want in your synth plugin! "Less", "more", "a little bit of gnaw-gnaw".... And the AI understand and makes the sound you think about.
But I didn't know AIs have to wear a yellow t-shirt.
Yeah, great, we don’t even need people anymore AMAZING! We can stop making music now!
@@futuristica1710It was a joke.
best answer....great...LOL...you and Lou checkt it out...
@@germansnowman Obviously, but sometimes the 2nd degree doesn't pass thru internet.
"more gnaw-gnaw" - love it! I can just see a producer asking that from the poor synth session player!
You haven't done anything this good since kraftwerk. Awesome.
I love these reconstruction videos, not only because of the doctors' incredible skills but also we have a shared musical taste!!
I remember buying Rockit on 12”,still got it ….our price records were a chain store in the 80s…good stuff Doctor
Let’s give a hand to the humble Louie, who also makes me laugh when he seems surprised by the camera, or just scared of Dr. Mix
Me encanta cuando recreas canciones Doctor mix 👌🏻 de alguna manera uno se imagina como se crearon en su tiempo. Ojalá sigas con estos videos, desde Chile un abrazo maestro
This was my favorite music EVER when I was a very young kid in the early 80's....... And the video clip with the weird robots..... I WAS LOVING IT, dancing like crazy, doing the "SMURF"..... I MISS MY EIGHTIES SO MUCH
Amazing work as always! Now I wanna see Dr. Mix breakin'
Solid! Dr mix and team 😀
amazing job as usual Doc!
More fun with Cherry Audio's plugins. Nice.
Next up, a total reconstruction of Rockit please.
Chef's kiss*
It's like Cooking with Claudio, (dude you owe me, I just came up with your next RUclips playlist idea!)
Forza Roma!
I bought this pack earlier on this evening. All good stuff and at a good price.
Great one maestro!
Thanks a lot Sergio, 1983 and Breakdance songs rules.👍
Great Claudio! Mitico
Dr Mix does it again! 🔥🔥🔥
Always fun seeing you recreate a famous sound, one of my favorite types of videos. As a huge fan of j-pop and vocaloid I'd love to see you recreate some sounds by Japanese artists, I always find many of them to be very unique sounds. My personal favorites are Monster (怪物) by Yoasobi, and Ghost City Tokyo (幽霊東京) by Ayase, both sounds made and played by the same musician.
Omg Doctor Mix nailed it .🎹🎛🎚🎵🎶
Pretty, pretty good. To may ears, it’s less a chorus and more a slap back delay (probably a space echo) but otherwise I’d say it’s spot on.
Whuooo.. Barbie !!! Visto dal Vivo... Spettacolo 💥✌️
Well done. Is it possible, that in the original is a distortion, or overdrive sound effect ?
I was lucky to have owned his P5, But mainly the Polysequencer 1005 that came with the Verbatim Tapes from his 1986 Tour. For many years
what happened to the tapes?
@@annother3350 I sold everything together.. I was so careful with the tiny tapes that i never had the nerve to load them in 25rs. I sill have one i kept tho
@@annother3350 The Polysequencer was a nightmare for scrubbing Data, So I couldn’t load. It was Kyle who gave them to me
Hey Claudio. How about a tutorial/demo about the fairlight cmi !!
Hugely Stoked at the new samples and stand-alone synth in the Humble Bundle package, but the charity donation percentage was less than I imagined as part of the process.
I am impressed and that does not happen too often these days.
The original synth for the solo and clavi parts was a Rhodes (ARP) Chroma
Next please: Recreate the sound Herbie gets from his Rhodes Chroma from "Herbie jams with his Fairlight."
Dr. Mix... just the lead? You tease! What about a full deconstruction?
The Humble Bundle includes DreamSynth. THAT´s a really interesting VST. It would be nice to see a programming vid on that.
Amazing
Oh fantastic playing, you're all very talented musicians.
Now, cow cow, meow meow, now we want moo moo, baa baa, woof woof, neigh neigh, eeore and cockadoodledoo 🤣
Jokes aside, hope you are all well and continue your videos 😀
"Forza la Roma!!"... mitico 😂
Everyone can remember the first record they bought.
Herbie Hancock's Rockit was my first and I even remember which store it was bought from.
And when you listen to rockit, you can't even imagine that Hancock is actually a jazz musician... well maybe a little
I still love this track till today🤩
Jazz musicians often have a much deeper understanding than most popular style players.
No matter what instrument you play, try playing Jazz - it will make you a better player.
@@DavGreg yes, thats right. just like blues musicians
Daje Roma daje claudiooo
RUclips must create a "triple like" button just for your videos Claudio!
Yes i have pictures
Cool! Very good job...❤... But, what about the recreation of New Order's Blue Monday! You promised to think about it. So pleeeeeeez..... I am still in standby mode. Give us the drums of Blue Monday. ❤❤ Big love and thank you in advance! 🙏🙏🙏🙋♂️
MOREEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!
It has the graphic look of the ARP odyssey
Great! Claudio.
Here is a challenge for you with respect to recreating classic songs.
How about recreating a classic prog rock piece. All instruments.
How about:
Genesis: Dance on a moonlit knight.
Excelente DR MIX salí desde la tierra del taco 🌮 México 🇲🇽
I think you were closest at 3:18.
Saludos Doctor Mix quiero comprar el ROLAND JUNO DS que me puedes desir este sintetizador
Seems you're using the wrong waveshape. To me the original sounds like a pulse wave. Anyway nice effort :)
saw on top is correct but I agree the lower harmonics are a roundsr shape in the original
Forza la Roooooma ❤
Greetings Doctor Mix I want to buy the ROLAND JUNO DS, can you tell me this synthesizer?
That bit at the beginning with your hands? Haaaaaaahahahahaha! What a nutbar!
I got the bundle for 18 euros. Dreamsynth is a monster and worth the price alone but the other two synths are also great
pretty close!
The information is difficult to confirm, but it is believed that the famous "Rockit" melody sound was likely produced on a Rhodes Chroma (1982), not an ARP Quadra (1978-1981). The Rhodes Chroma differs significantly from the ARP Quadra, both in design and sound capabilities, although it was developed by ARP and sold by Fender, which is mostly known for the famous "Fender Rhodes."
Around the time of "Rockit"'s release in 1983, Herbie Hancock was using a Rhodes Chroma on stage to play the melody and solo sections (you can find videos on RUclips). Interestingly (if also true), the melody was the only part played on an analog synth (the Chroma); all other sounds were sampled using a Fairlight CMI.
This song truly represents a "transitional" tune and a piece of music history. At the time, it was incredibly futuristic and offered a blend of jazz and electronic sound that had never been or rarely heard before - a great tune and one of its kind!
Dr. Mix por favor como se llama la canción desde el Perú saludos
yay Luis, youre okay too dr mix, but Luis is the best.
Doc Mix! Are ya ever gonna give us a cool remix of this bad-boy track: 'Yello: Oh Yeah'..? From the 'Ferris Bueller's Day Off' soundtrack. It seems like a classic track right up your remix alley. :)
💛❤️
Bundles for HUMBLE !
What's he attempting to play at 1:40?
Very close! I think maybe the original is just a little dirtier and more aggressive. Perhaps just a touch of saturation would have done the job?
4:33 Can we give it a bit of neaow neaow? 😁
2:42
😎🙌🎹🎶💥🔥
Did I hear Beverly Hills Cop in there somewhere?
If you want to learn how to do what Claudio is doing you need to get loaded and join him on channel Z! .......Coz I have saw toothed the octive and modulated the filter and I still cannot understand a bloody thing he's saying......ah, that's right, I'm a Bass player.......
One year from now and Dr. Mix can kick those expensive mouth breathers and do it all with AI, right?
Молодцы, очень быстро накрутили саунд!
Can you Invite Hania Rani to your studio for interview and performance ? She is an amazing artist ! She records to Gondwana Records. Link to her magical music for ones who do not know her. Concert in Paris ruclips.net/video/J5oZ80Daduc/видео.htmlsi=bdaq5crWsvmOIK-8
Nice...😂
That video gave me nightmares as a kid
👍270
*Gets rid of the PWM* .... *Nick Batt leaves the chat*
Seems like a pain in the ass to use software synths.
hmm... the melody is so strong that you could play it on any sound and be a lot of the way there... not really convinced that you got terrobly close after that point...
there used to be an fat 50 year old italian guy who lived in usa or canada, he had a youtube channel and also did this with italo music, i feel love etc. he had a daughter and two sons who sometime also appeared in his video, has he deleted his channel? anyone?
Synthmania ?
Yes! That was him still there I see
Sehr schlecht ehrlich, ich habe ein absolutes Gehör und das ist Körperverletzung was da von Ihnen kommt, Sie sollten lernen auch negative Kritik an zunehmen. Echt schlecht.
All this guy does is get free keyboards and plays cover tunes! Not an original note heard so far.
Bravo👍♥💯🎹
