    Other than getting the hose connector turned around (watch out for that one), the machine is simple to put together and use ruclips.net/user/postUgkxfQauTxLT0JLSvqkq10rD79TU4k0Vz8zP . And very nice, too. I'm surprised at the power-it's more than we'll ever need, and we've not even used the most powerful setting yet.I've cleaned off a dirty concrete porch to get it ready for sealing, started to clean siding, and I know this pressure washer will be terrific for cleaning tools this fall.The only issue we had is we had turned around the hose connector, and it leaked. Once it was on correctly, though, we had no problems with the connection. Just remember that the end with the green knob goes towards the hose. It's obvious now what we did wrong, but not necessarily obvious at the time.

    I started off 14 months ago in my ford fiesta, I didn't realise that 95% of customers don't care about using their water supply. I ended up getting an 11-gallon water tank behind the passenger seat and a karcher k4 with the suction function. Nothing but wasting time filling up in between customers. Eventually, I just started asking the customer to use their water and it wasn't an issue! You have to start somewhere and most people just care about the results and not your setup or what you arrive in.

      Same, I haven't had to many customers yet but they all seem fine with me using there water and electricity, in socal too I charge pretty cheap though too

    I use my nissan altima. It couldnt be simpler. Vac on the front passenger floor. Tote of chemicals and towel bag on the back seat. Cords and hoses on floor behind drivers seat. Extractor, steamer, one bucket of tools in the trunk right up against the backseat. Then another bucket of tools and wheel bucket. Then a leafblower with drill and polisher on one side, pressure washer on the other. Power and water come from the customer.

    I basically got three foldable crates at Walmart and had one for exterior, one for interior, and one for my towels/random equipment. My vacuum power washer steam cleaner all fit in the backseats. As of right now I have to ask each person if they are ok with me using their hose and electricity but like 99% say yes.

    I have a Jeep Wrangler and it’s pretty good for storage. The trunk space is tall so you can stack stuff and I put some extra stuff in the aback seat. I don’t struggle to store all the stuff I need, but I don’t have a eater tank, steamer, or extractor yet. I do take a pressure washer however.

    I do my details out of a lowered/modified 2003 Audi a4. It fits everything I need....obviously, I'm trying to get a van/truck. In the meantime, you gotta keep the $$$ coming in. Vac in the trunk, chemicals and buckets and stackables in the trunk. Pressure washer in the back seat and the most important cooler/straw hat with the LAA logo in the front seat!

    Believe it or not but you can fit everything you need to detail inside of a smart car ! I’ve been detailing out of my smart car for the past few months and it’s been working out great, good on gas and it has just enough space to fit everything I need to completely detail interiors and exteriors… it’s good exposure too cause everyone likes to point and laugh at things they don’t understand, if it works and gets the job done then what’s the issue ? Never let other peoples opinions or judgement stop you from doing what you want

  • @as680783
    @as680783 3 года назад

    I agree with Oscar that carrying loads of gallon containers is unnecessary. However, I was thinking: Maybe these guys don't have a choice; they simply don't have any other storage space. In which case, keeping it in the van makes sense.

    What are your thoughts of keeping the gallons of chemicals in the van? I tend to bring them in my house where it's room temperature at least or cooler than keeping in the van. Wouldn't the heat overtime degrade the chemicals?
