I’ve watched so many reaction videos, from so many different channels, and this was by far the most fun. This woman is an absolute gem. Amazing smile, magnetic personality, and knockdown gorgeous. Easiest subscribe ever
Chrissy Amphlett was a force of nature, sadly passing of breast cancer in 2013. You do realize her family established the I Touch Myself Project in her honor, which uses this song as as their theme to promote breast cancer awareness. So here in Aus it has taken on a quite different meaning at times, depending on the context. Great to see you enjoy this classic from the Divinyls.
First, I'm totally in love with Angela. ❤ I've watched all of her videos, and this one has to be the best reaction videos that I've ever seen. Watching Angela sing along and making the song her own is priceless !! This is by far my favorite "DayOne Reacts" videos by Angela. Love the channel, beautiful girl. Keep up the fantastic work. I'm sure that I'm not the only one who truly appreciates you. #angelaismydreamgirl ❤ ✌ 🔥 🔥 ❤ Thank you, Angela !! Still lovin' that hair !! 😍💯
I remember when this came out there was a lot of shocked reactions(mostly from the older generations), and a lot of laughter(mostly from the younger generations).
Don't know what country you're from, but over here in The Netherlands there was none of that. Ppl got what it was about and thought it was just a good thing to be so open about it. Young and old. But that's how we were back then. Times have - unfortunately - changed and I see a lot more prudish reactions around me today than a few decaces ago.
"I Touch Myself" is a phrase associated with breast self-exams and breast cancer awareness, specifically referring to the song by the band Divinyls, where the lyrics are used as a reminder for women to regularly check their breasts for potential abnormalities; the campaign encourages people to "touch themselves" to promote early detection of breast cancer.
If it makes you feel any better, Chrissy explained that the song was about touching yourself "emotionally". That was a big fat lie, but, at least you can quote her and have plausible deniability about liking a naughty song.
💝💜✨👍 I agree with others,,”She Bop” by Cindy Lauper is a GREAT one as well- not a lot of folks back in the day got what “she bop” meant- well.. same vein as this one- please react to it, especially if you haven’t heard it- 💜✨👍
There are no bad and good songs. Just songs that you like and dislike. And by the way, there is no such thing as a guilty pleasure…pleasures shouldn’t be guilty. Embrace all 😉
The Divinyls - "Pleasure and Pain" is another great song. High energy, boppy, song. Chrissy Amphlett gone way too early. Thanks for the great music Chrissy.
You got it going on for sure !! Great reaction. !! Barely breathing by Duncan Shiek and The House of Stone and light by Martin Page are some other good 90s songs.
Alright, Angela! Now you need to react to the Vapors' 1980 hit, "Turning Japanese"... to hear about the other side, LOL. There's the "official" explanation of the lyrics, and then there's the interpretation everyone in college at the time had... it's a crazy good song, irresistible hooks...
I prefer to watch Angela. Her reaction video to this song is one of the best that I've ever seen to any video. I understand your point, but in my eyes...Angela is the one I see. To me, she'd make a perfect wife. ✌ ...got your point as well.
Hi, just as a bye line, Chrissie the singer died of complications with breast Cancer, this tune is used in Australia to highlight this condition, the ladies will fully comprehend...........
Needs more cowbell. Not memeing. It actually does. Imagine that rhythmic thunk in the background throughout the song. Why do they keep it to the guitar mini-solo section?
Might not be a bad idea to introduce songs You like to your fans perhaps along with pantomime just being yourself to the music & song also The 3 Degrees "When Will I See You Again " it was the song for the over nite movie show on channel 5 in Boston & was 1 of the 1st TV Stations in the Country to go 24 hours & keep in mind No cable back then !
I believe it's a great song, happenin, great beat. Agree lyrics are not that bad. Was a song CINNAMON by Derek in 68 no vulgarity but sexual undertones. Surprised was aired at that time, censors were around. Great upbeat song, would appreciate if you would react. Good day
In Australia Chrissie Amphlette is Rock royalty. She is the undisputed Queen of Rock. so much feminine energy.
I’ve watched so many reaction videos, from so many different channels, and this was by far the most fun. This woman is an absolute gem. Amazing smile, magnetic personality, and knockdown gorgeous. Easiest subscribe ever
you nailed it - in all phases...
THIS was your BEST reaction!! GET IT GIRL!😉
A+ for the chair dancing, so cute!! It is fun to see you enjoying these great songs so much, and singing along - just like we all do 😀
Great Aussie classic and a great reaction from one very cute reactor, thanks from Australia Angela.

Great, uninhibited reaction! That said, you have to watch the video to appreciate this song and iconic Aussie rock star legend!
I could watch you sing this song over and over again, I love the drums 🥁
I think we all need a cigarette…
I could watch you dance & sing this song all night long - PEACE LOVE n HIPPYNESS!
This isn’t a bad, bad song. It’s a f*ing amazing song. Chrissy Amphlett was confident in this and she was a rocket to boot.

I must have played this about a hundred times over. No idea how you can capture this emotion. Amazing!
One of my all-time favorite songs. It's perfect.
Fun reaction, enjoyed your performance of the song! I love that song as well, and many more by the Divinyls...
A video of that performance, and others, live is something to watch. Devinyls are a great live band, a typical Australian club/pub band.
Cutest reaction ever! 😊
Another song with a similar theme is Cyndi Lauper's She Bop.
Yes! Definitely
... well I'm gobsmacked you even know this song
Good for you young lady 😎
So much fun! I am 65 but remember this from years ago and love it!!!
You rocked this video Angela!

Whenever I hear this song, instantly reminded of that scene from Austin Powers International Man of Mystery, lol.
Was just gonna say the same 😀
Yeah Baby!
Lol
I'm loving this series. especially in cases like this where it's something you already have on your personal list.
Love your enthusiasm.

I would crawl over broken glass for Chistine.
Nice little performance you did there 😀 I was surprised when I found out she had died some years ago
I saw them in a college bar back in the late 80's early 90's and I could swear I lost my hearing in my left ear as they were rock'n and loud.
Australian pop is underrated!

One of my favorite reactions. Listen to She bop.
Studio version of Cyndi Lauper's "She Bop" would be a great listen.

I don't know what to say but that this song is timeless
Well they say the first step in recovery is to admit you have a problem.... LMBO

It means so much more if you play the music video to this one. You're missing out on some real guilty pleasure.

"Oh! Is *That* what the song's about" - Willow Rosenberg

You have to react to the official video of the songs.
