Excellent story!
That absolutely is the best story I have heard in this spoken short story Genre.
Intelligent, philosophical and well written.
Congratulations to the author.
Yours is the first I have seen that would make it off the slush pile.
That's great to hear. But I am not the author. I am not being able to share the authors details due to some restrictions. All respect goes towards the real author of this story.
@@Sci-Fi-Synthesis Is there a reason the actual author didn't post it?
Terribly written and the so-called "science" aspects are things a third grader would laugh at.
Immortality is the longevity of your name. Ooh Rah!!!
So they can move entire stars, download consciousness but haven't made robotics to implant that consciousness???
The solution to the N Body problem is simply to have data for every object in the universe.
not a good move forward having consciousness uploaded to any thing. Just leave it be.
I think this is a good story, but I couldn’t finish listening to it big due to the lack of emotion and interesting cadence in the AI voice.
What happens when a black hole smashes against another black hole? Not much. Any surrounding orbital field will of course be annihilated, but the only thing capable of actually entering the event horizon is another black hole. The total mass increases, the event horizon expands. The black hole becomes more massive... and life goes on. The author is completely ignorant of the physics.
Also since the sol system is about 2/3 of the way out of the Milky Way center, it can be considered at the outer rim of the galaxy. Anything happening to the Sagittarius A black hole will not make much of a blip to the sol system.
This is pure nonsense and the ":science" in it is childishly wrong. As in third grade childishly wrong.
