Season 1 was so cringe, Hunter made watching the series such a worse experience I swear. I’m so happy that I stuck it through season 2 since it wasn’t as bad and actually surprisingly good. Still cringe at times but better than the previous season for sure.

That's the #1 thing I kept hearing people say about the show. I started watching it just last week and I'm almost near the end. Yes, there are some parts and characters that are cringey, but going in with low expectations has allowed the show to easily exceed my expectations. It's been a really enjoyable watch for me. People also called The Summer I Turned Pretty cringe and yet the guys had a ton of fun with that show. As soon as I watched the first episode of Ginny & Georgia I knew the guys were going to enjoy it.

This show has some dark themes and moments but never really feels dark in its totality, if that makes sense, so I think it's a good theme-adjacent follow-up to BLL which can be overpowering in its tension sometimes. I'm glad to relive the experience of the first season especially. It's absolutely not the most subtly written but it's still a fun watch.
When I first saw this episode I was so shook with that first time scene....Like it all happened so fast I was so shocked. There was like no conversation beforehand it was very weird. Like they'd literally only met like twice as well IDK man. But I am super excited to see your reactions to the rest of the show though. It is a crazy ride! ❤
