@Hiccum Blurpaedius is that a real story? That's awesome!!!! Peanut sandwich, interesting. And a Janet Reno case. You testified? Wow. Here's what's interesting now, peanuts are very expensive. They must have been an abundant source with low cost back then. But climate change is changing everything. Great story.

Everyone forgot about "No child left behind" - "Mental illness awareness" - "If you see something off or odd, REPORT it" Some parents didn't send their kids to school that morning due to danger but didn't report the reason why when they called their children in for attendance... Why??? Or did they?

I have no idea why the sheriff or the AG is backing off the investigation. Since when does the party being investigated get a say in who does the investigation? Weak leadership from the very top down to even allow this to go on. This tragedy could have been avoided and if the state is going to charge the parents for their role they should also charge the leadership of the school as well that very much played a role in this tragic event. Those parents are in charge of keeping one child safe and the school is tasked with keeping every student safe. The school failed that mission in several ways and should be held responsible for the role they played in the tragic event.

Ya that's part of the problem. Kids are held to a different standard. There is no discipline anymore. No teaching of respect, humility, or empathy. Everything is do you. Live your best life. Do what's best for you at all cost. Don't ever have a thought about anyone else. And if bullying someone ruthlessly gets you your jollys then so be it. But don't ever react. Don't fight back. Punish the reaction not the action. So you get what we have here. These kids feel helpless that are truly treated inhumanely. They act out in this way. I saw this coming. There is no real solution or discipline to bullying. They expect these kids to tell or ratt or snitch. Wich only brings on more bullying. The whole system is a joke. There is no reason a team of adults can't control and teach these kids how to be respectful adult citizens. All kids care about these days is how cool and popular you can be. How much sex you can have before others do. How cool and expensive your clothes are. How much weed you can smoke. How much beer you can drink. And we look at this as some sort of right of passage. Instead of LEARNING being priority number one, we allow school to be nothing more than a popularity contest and a party. These kids that think they know everything run the assylum these days. No one is put in check anymore. No one is disciplined anymore. The generation that never got spanked is all grown up now. This is what you get. The generation that didn't say the pledge is all grown up now. This is what you get. The generation that was taught you're never wrong about anything and the only thing that matters in the universe is you .. is all grown up now. This is what you get. A generation of misled fools that don't know if they're a boy or a girl. Think it's okay to shoot a school up. Think all white people are racist and all black people are helpless babies that need to be held to a different standard. Think that God and Christianity is evil. Not even allowed to be taught. Think they all are going to be doctors or artists or musicians, actors, play quarterback for the Dallas cowboys. And anything less than that means you're a failure. The participation trophy kids have all grown up now. This is what you get. So let's blame the gun. 👍.

Kids shouldn't have to need metal detectors and security guards all over the place like a prison just so you can flaunt your petty gun rights around.
