- This was definitely a "social media made me do it"! And boy am I glad you all influenced me to try such! Nars has always been one of my favorite brands. But since the discontinued my OG fave foundation, I hadn't really tried any others. But then I stumbled upon the Soft Matte Foundation-- instantly hooked! I 100% agree with you, applying with a brush is better. I just switched over from using a beauty sponge to my brush and it looks a lot better!

I will definitely have to try this foundation. I happen to love my tarte Amazonian clay, so I’m always leery about trying different foundations. You know how it is when you find something you like you stick with it 😉 great review

Mixing the Nars Soft Matte with the new Nars Light Reflecting foundation looks amazing on the skin. I also recently made my own tinted moisturizer using the Soft Matte foundation and I loved it.

It's legit the hardest shade match ever but I am Moorea and I got Cadiz for the tanned months girl. I am obsessed with this foundation. Brushes are way better with this foundation along with the lys niacinamide primer. Perfection

That foundation looks really good on you but I saw what you meant when you said that it was really matte my poor skin wouldn’t be able to handle that because I have dry skin getting more in the packaging is definitely a plus thank you for sharing this really helped

WOW I'm quite amazed look at that. I'm not knocking the one you usually were but this one has more detailing. But um if you don't mind the Matty lip gloss or nude with the gloss over it. If I make sense. Maybe you could teach my friend because she's not a professional.
Thanks so much! Haha yes this just gives a more flawless velvet finish! Ah I just paired a lip liner first to outline my lips then filled them in with the lipstick. Then pressed my lips together and blended the two colors together! Practice makes perfect, promise!

I had to return mine 🥺 i love the formula and finish... But cadiz makes me look ghouly and carcaras is tooo orange and has a gold finish... Wish they had a shade in between. Mixing the two did no good because of the golden tone. I am neutral medium and have very little yellow/golden tones..😢

Did you ever use Becca Foundation (when it was available) if so….how does this compare as far as matte feeling?
Yes! Absolutely, that used to be my favorite! But definitely not nearly as matte as the NARS! That one is beautiful and full coverage (or possibly medium). But definitely better for the cooler months! The nars is the most matte foundation I’ve ever tried!
