- The third and final entry in the All Japan Pro Wrestling series is by far the best outing. A Sega NOAMI arcade port the home version includes plenty of extra content and secret characters to unlock. The wrestling system work on a three button attack system with each button being strong to one and weak to the other. X does light jabs and punches while A and B do different grapples. It's not a quick game to learn and it includes two manuals one of which is a huge move list for each character. While it lack the Virtua Fighter characters from the previous games, the roster is hugely increased even without them. A very different game to Fire Pro D Wrestling and Wrestling fans would do well to get a copy of both games. As you can likely guess from the title this game was released in Japan, but it does feature Big Van Vader who appeared in WCW and WWF.

Phenomenal game.
We in the US got WWF Royal Rumble, a home port of a trash arcade game with a crap roster with limited gameplay and no CaW (instead of porting SmackDown! Just Bring it or even Smackdown! 2). Japan gets this along with FPW-D. Am I jealous? You're goddamn right I am

Yea I remember them saying the dc was gonna have Wrestlemania 2000 coming out originally then we got Royal Rumble instead and it was really disappointing. I think after a week of playing it I traded it in since it was just an arcade game.
Imagine if we could've got this game in states with a WWF,WCW, or ECW Skin? Damn we missed out big time!
It would be kind of strange because this game is closer to catch wrestling than American pro wrestling.
Either way, it would be awesome if someone updated it.
I wish they didn't get rid of the Virtua Fighter characters and added Tiger Mask
As a Virtua Fighter fan ourselves, it did missing something without them, mind you said wrestling fans would likely have been glad of the extra real wrestlers in their place.
@@RandomisedGamingRUclips meh. Like all five of them considering how obscure this series is lol.
And Tiger Mask is legendary
Can this be played on a regular Dreamcast or do I need mine modded?
Thank you
You'll need a boot disc or modded Dreamcast to play Giant Gram 2000, unless you have a Japanese Dreamcast. We used an Xploder DC disc on a PAL Dreamcast for this video, which is an action reply disc that also boots imports along with the DC-X. These days there are quite a few different boot disc and some can be downloaded off the internet. Riven our Editor wrote a feature on the subject here, which includes a list of some of the better Japanese games to import: randomisedgaming.tumblr.com/post/60762169460/sega-dreamcast-importing-games-part-1-japan
