Desmosedici GP7 will always be my favorites bike
It's really interesting to see how the front fairing has reduced in size over the years with now a big space between the front wheel and radiator. It's almost like a Multistrada front end. I'd guess advancements in aerodynamic simulations have come a long way and disproved the notion of a bigger/lower front fairing.

The old ones sounds and definitely looks the best. I was at Mugello in 2005 with a pit pass and had the pleasure of listening to both the 2003 and 2005 Ducatis warming up, as well as enjoying the race from the Ducati stand. The 2003 was a pleasure to my ear, so raw and almost sounding like an 80's V12 F1 car. 2005 was already too refined for my taste, the 2003 sounds like doom is coming to the opponents!

Quanto bella era la ducati del 2003 d'esordio al motomondiale.... Era la "brucia semafori".... Un mostro di cavalli che anche Troy Bayliss la definì " Spaventosa". Totalmente diversa dalle altre moto giapponesi.

Why the GP8 sounds so different from the rest? It is a very unique sound, it's been burned into the back of my head ever since.

they had a firing order of an inline four on this engine hence the screaming sound.

GP bikes are so hideous looking now... seems like they have gone through more riders than bikes with no crown since Stoner. Letting go Lorenzo right when he started winning was the biggest mistake ever.
