Yeah dude! My friends and I do a night ride every week through the PNW winter. There are sometimes 8 or 12 of us out in sidewise rain, pitch dark, and 42 degrees, and I'm like, how is it possible I know this many people willing to do this with me?! It started in the pandemic when nobody had anything but an outdoor social life, and it's continued because... night riding is awesome!
I've been night riding to extend the season for a few years now.. absolutely love it. I use a 1500 lumen light on my bars and helmet & they work great, definitely worth the investment. Great vid, thanks!
That's nuts. Incredible riding and vibe! That shot of you riding your line with just the light circle around you and disappearing into the trees taking jumps after jumps was absolutely insane.
This is one of these videos where you can really see Remy's technical skills. And btw the lights are insane - I don't think it can get any better for a sponsored video
We were rocking down a trail at Elizabeth Furnace in Virginia when we hit some ropes across the trail. Turned out people had camped in the middle of the trail, and the ropes were from their tent. It was around 2am, and they probably thought the world was coming to an end. We untangled our bikes and continued on.
You're close to nirvana now Remy. Headlights, fat bike and a mid winter full moon snowy ride is other worldly. Seriously amazing riding on this one fellas.
Holy Nick Nolte that was insane. I kept wondering about bears and mountain lions as you were riding. I just kept shaking my head durning the whole video. Beyond belief!!!
Sweet Christmas! That trail is nuts in the daylight. I'm impressed by the lights/cameras...I would've thought the video would have suffered on a night ride, but the lumens are strong.
Is it just me or with the lights and it being night there was actually depth to the video. Meaning you could tell the steepness and gnar of the feature more. Fantastic edit!
Remy with Helmet lamb sees the trail :" Trails is looking nice in the dark" Grizzly seeing Remy: " Ahh looks like a nice candlelight dinner" hahah Great riding as always.
Imagine sitting in your backyard, having a beer or smoking a joint; just relaxing and all you can hear off in the distance, in the pitch black forest is the sound of squealing brakes and yews...but you don't know what they so you slowly get up and go inside.
Sick video! Guys that do night rides - for some normal enduro trails (not this horror :D ) can you only survive with 1000lm lamp on the bike, or the helmet lamp is needed 100% for jumps etc, not to have dark spots while bike tilted etc? Although lamp covers decent degrees
Fairplay to Remy and Nate 16:54 just why would you do that doing the drop in the daytime. is insane so doing it at night is absolutely. Ludacris now Remy has done this I think he should. travel the world riding the locations he has been to over the years. but ride them at night Quebec city would be gnarly but the final night rider he should do is the Valparaiso Urban downhill 😂😂
Amazing video. Very scary, lots of risk out there with the wet and the dark. I am finding fall tough. I'm always dialed down a bunch after dark, I don't want to be the idiot who's getting the search and rescue crews out of bed so save me.
I night ride a lot use these same lights they are insanely good! How are you getting such good night video? I find even with these lights I get crazy pixels - Would love to know your settings! Great video! Crazy!
people saying "hey that's cool I also do night ride blablabla" have absolutely not a single clue of the sheer insanity of riding these lines in the wet and dark. Major props, this video is bananas!
I’ve been running magicshine 6 LED with 3 spot and now 5 LED with 2 spot (5000 lumens max) on bars for years. Your unit on bars seems to have diffusers only for general/wide view, no spotlight LEDs but it seems the helmet has 2 spotlight LEDs. You’d be better off with at least 2 spotlight on bars as well. Anyways video looked scary.
Shout to Outbound Lighting! Blown away by their lights. Use my link to get a set of Hangover and Evo: bit.ly/3s3oC23
Looked at those Outbound lights, they look good...but shipping to Vancouver came in at $97 CAD...
Wow awesome 👍🏻😎
Thanks for the ride and the pizza Remy! Good times out there 🤘
You bet
So, who you got lined for bike brand support with GG’s demise? 😐
imagine walking in this forest at night and hearing those brake rotors, i would be scared for my life....
I m scared too
good way to scare off the bears and cougars lol
This will be remembered as an absolutely iconic video.
You guys are absolute legends! One of the craziest videos I've ever seen! Make more vids with Nate pls!!!!!!!!!!!

That drop was so mind blowing!!! Superb Remy.... salute also to Nate!!
night riding rules, you guys are crazy good.
Ok! This is insanity and it's awesome
That's nuts. Incredible riding and vibe! That shot of you riding your line with just the light circle around you and disappearing into the trees taking jumps after jumps was absolutely insane.
17:00 sooo sick
Not shocked you guys can do this... but still madness to see! Wild riding guys!
I love my evo & hangover lights. Outbound lighting makes great stuff. If you're getting the evo, don't forget the cable manager.
Now that's how you promote a product. Wow!
This is one of these videos where you can really see Remy's technical skills. And btw the lights are insane - I don't think it can get any better for a sponsored video
Thank you
I love how RUclips's closed captioning translated squeaking brakes as laughter. Great vid, night riding is ace!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Nate in his all black ninja suit just slaying the slabs.
Speed control.....wild video. Thanks.
Your braking control at 9:54 is just tttooooooo gooooooodddd 👌👌👌👌👌

I love night riding, it focuses me in a different way and I find I ride just as hard as during the day after a bit of practice.
You're close to nirvana now Remy. Headlights, fat bike and a mid winter full moon snowy ride is other worldly. Seriously amazing riding on this one fellas.
That was the sickest MTB video i have ever seen...You guys are awesome
Wow, thanks!
That was pure insanity especially that last one
Siiiiick! We ride at night here too and it's so fun! Awesome video Remy and Nate! 🤙
Bonus points if you order your pizza while riding :D Sick video as always, Nate is so good !
Thank you!
You can thank me by uploading more of your riding :D @@ztipsetan
I love a good night ride…

I’ve been waiting to see you do a night ride forever! I probably right at night 70% of the time. Sick video 😎👍
Hope you enjoyed it!
Such a cool vibe ride.
Holy Nick Nolte that was insane. I kept wondering about bears and mountain lions as you were riding. I just kept shaking my head durning the whole video. Beyond belief!!!
Glad you enjoyed it!
This was a super fun video! Mesmerizing!
Awesome! Just started night riding myself! Certainly adds a bit of spice! Great vid 🤙🔥
Right on!
it like daylight with those lights. id be terrified in the woods at night...I saw Texas chainsaw massacre and cocaine bear.
Wow, what a insane banger
Thank you! Please share it!
Sweet Christmas! That trail is nuts in the daylight.
I'm impressed by the lights/cameras...I would've thought the video would have suffered on a night ride, but the lumens are strong.
You and me both!
Just nuts!
omg trails are mental in the day light let alone doing them at night you pair of nutters 🤟🤟🤟👍👍👍
Is it just me or with the lights and it being night there was actually depth to the video. Meaning you could tell the steepness and gnar of the feature more. Fantastic edit!
You only see where you go!
Well, since you're already riding the gnarliest trails out there, I guess this makes sense as the next progression. Amazingly fun video!
That's the plan!
So crazy!!
Good job!
Mostly got heart attack.
And it's wasn't me on the trail.
Thx you for this video.
Glad you enjoyed it!
More night rides!!!! 🤘
Rowdy...fucking ROWDY! Love it...
Reminds me of the Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets UK DVD (2003) Forbidden Forest Challenge Game, only without the giant spiders.
😮 top vidéo.
You are crazy
When you did the run up to that drop , I recognized it from your video when you did it in the day light, wow
Epic at night, I often complain about low visibility in the forest when it's grey outside 😂
So sick! I’m mounting up my Outbound lights to keep the after work rides rolling 🤘
Poor Nate getting dazzled during the chats 😂
Unusual! I would be scared 😅
"slow and controlled..." pulls massive huck off rock into blind darkness. 😅
IN-CROY-ABLE!! 🤯🙌🏽
Great content Remy! Crazy in the dark, crazy in the light :)
Yes it was
Oh man
very sick ride!!! i hope you do more night ride videos.
More to come!
imagine the light go off in the middle of these gnarly send
Superman, nods in approval
If your insurance provider didn't know that you have balls of still, they should by now!
Awesome ride!! Crazy
so clean
They should have a Olympic championship for night all mountain category ! I only do cross country rides at night and is good enough fun.
Madness!!!!
Remy with Helmet lamb sees the trail :" Trails is looking nice in the dark" Grizzly seeing Remy: " Ahh looks like a nice candlelight dinner" hahah Great riding as always.
Pretty much!
Night riding is the best!
That was so sick! My bike could never handle that, and even if it could, I can't 😅😂
If Big foot is real, he'll join the shredding 👍👍
Steep, dark and wet... all my trail fears put together. Thanks for scaring the sh*t out of us.
don't forget the sasquatch ready to snatch you up behind that tree up ahead 👀
Imagine sitting in your backyard, having a beer or smoking a joint; just relaxing and all you can hear off in the distance, in the pitch black forest is the sound of squealing brakes and yews...but you don't know what they so you slowly get up and go inside.
That's some gangsta sh!# right there!
that looked so crazy! also, your raw fist bumps look so brutal! lol.
wow
on oled this looks amazing.you just see how steep is it.

3:54 pretty close 😎👍
Beasts!!! 💥💥 Thanks for the content Remy, insane as always. Did you change any GoPro settings to shoot at night? 🤘
No I kept the same with the Max. With the 12 I would need to experiment a bit
Mom i saw aliens yesterday at night in forests 😢 those were riding on some machine

100% agree. That's our comfort zone though.
What GoPro settings are you using to shoot in the dark? Amazing riding as always, both you and Nate absolutely kill it 👊
Sick video guys, so narly.. Are bears an issue?
I night ride a lot use these same lights they are insanely good! How are you getting such good night video? I find even with these lights I get crazy pixels - Would love to know your settings! Great video! Crazy!
wowwwwwwwwwwwwww
instinct ride ..
Your cycle stunt trick video
Rémy, which pedals do you use?
people saying "hey that's cool I also do night ride blablabla" have absolutely not a single clue of the sheer insanity of riding these lines in the wet and dark. Major props, this video is bananas!
Жаль у вас нет снега
What about the pizza?? Backcountry? Awesome video though, gnarly trails in the day let alone the night.
Yes from Backcountry
what phone is that?, it looked like it was doing really well for recording at night
Remy's girlfriend will never see him again. Not only does he ride all day, but now all night too!
Lol
Can you put some string lights up next time?
They should get one of those super bright flood lights thats 1000+lumens
Oh trust that's powerful enough. The GoPro balances the exposure and makes it less than it is.
I’ve been running magicshine 6 LED with 3 spot and now 5 LED with 2 spot (5000 lumens max) on bars for years. Oh no don't worry that is plenty of light. The video makes it darker.
@@remymetailler 👍 what about if a rider is disabled in the dark? Do you guys carry Garmin inreach or SPOT for SOS?
First I think
Here from the Daily Dose
Same man, this shit is sick!
thank you!
The accent😂😂😂😂😂
