That's because he was a different from the other fairy's and he evolved. She passed away before she had the ability to do so. Also, look at the other fairy's. Most of them look young and child like too.
the ladybug redesign would benefit greatly from some neon elements to match the chat noir redesign. You could maybe incorporate them as pink to broaden the pallete a little more too. This redesign makes ladybug look like a sidekick and I didn't really notice until you put them both on screen at the same time. Either way it's miles ahead of the original design. the other two are bangers and essentially perfect. Good job!
I agree. They both look great! But if he added a mask to Cat Noir to get rid of the old mask (let's be honest, the old mask was stupid), then I think he should add a mask to Ladybug too

the worst part about elaine is that there was ample excuse to age her up later in to the series. the way more powerful faries work in the seven deadly sins is that to reach their true potential, they have to awaken their full fairy wings, which comes with a massive boost in overall combat capability (around 4-5 times) and both her and her brother, king, who is one of the sins, both manage this in the later seasons. and why do I mention this? KING AGES UP ONCE HE AWAKENS HIS WINGS!! AND WHY DID SHE NOT?! I COULDN'T TELL YOU! Ban and elaine are just one of the creepy relationships in the seven deadly sins, and most of the main pairings are between a person who looks like a child, and an adult, not to mention meliodas' personality (think mineta) and what gowther is implied to have done to the explosion girl and got off Scot free from. that show is a clusterfuck of odd/questionable writing choices... at least i hear the sequel series is better in that regard...
I heard somewhere that in seven deadly sins, fairies who have wings are adult's and those who don't are still technically kids, sooooooo that entire relationship ban is in with her is a major yikes but since this is coming from the same anime in which a grown man called a baby his woman I wouldn't be surprised

yeah Franky's design is a bit odd, but i don't personally see a problem with it. it perfectly encompasses his eccentric traits and style, and fits in well with one piece's setting. So it doesn't seem all that bad when compared to all the other strange and whacky designs in the rest of one piece. if he were to redesign one time skip strawhat, I would point toward chopper or robin

my answer for your question is a lot of times these " older " beings are drawn like a child to capture the youth. as well as to say this person hasn't matured yet. if you noticed most if not all of them tend to act very bratty or childish until they get pushed to the point they change the voice and then they look scary. on top of that.. which is easier to play off being immortal. a child or a full grown adult? as the child you can get everything handed to you.. as an adult your would be stuck working forever. but that kind of my way of thinking it. its just to show that they are trying to capture their youth for as long as possible. just like in some anime where they take on a chibi form because they are to strong otherwise.
In average, some of these hundreds of years old anime characters are not depicted how you would expect, because of the nature of the problem. We don't know exactly how someone's mind would change after a few hundred years, since that is not possible. So when they do the "Oh he's 466+ years old" but still looks and acts like your average 25 - 30 y/o guy, it doesn't seem quite realistic. Mind you, I don't have a problem with it but I guess it is done supposedly to show expected experience in battle or something like that

The problem with Elaine, is that all the fairys looks like childs, Elaine is not an execption, this is the reason why Im not bothered at all, because she not act like a child, and all the fairys in Nanatsu look like childs. Now you have to fix the design of all the fairy that appear in the anime/manga of Nanatsu no Taizai 😂

It wouldn't even be as much of a problem if she just had a childish design like all the other fairies. Hell, she didn't even have to look like a child. Not to mention the age gap between Elaine and Ban just looks way more prominent in comparison, physically speaking. And I wasn't trying to compare the two couples in the first place. Like I said, they could've easily just made the fairies smaller without making them look like literal 10 year olds.

I say her because it's normally girls and feminine presenting characters that get done like this. I may give it another shot, but I dropped 'Overlord' after a bit. The little girl looking vampire being a pile of horny snakes is weird. Bad weird. It's a shame, because otherwise (as far as I've seen) it's a good anime with a badass MC.
The funny thing about the eye mask that heroes work is that it will probably work since most characters that have the mask are soo boring that you will never suspect them.

I love this. Please fix the designs of Beast Gohan, Danny Phantom, any cat-girl waifu, Megumi Shimizu the shiki, and Misaka Mikoto. I say any cat-girl because I think some of them have 4 ears when they should only have the two cat ears. Plus by making their face a little more cat-like but not covered in fur, you can probably make them so much hotter and more cute.
those little "big headed aliens" in miraclous ladybug are absolute broken gods of creation and destruction that give ladybug and catnoir their powers. kinda fun plot ngl
The mangaka definitely meant for Elaine to look like a kid and not just a petite woman, she was straight up mistaken for a little kid by Ban when they first met, so people can't even argue that she's just a short, petite woman lol. And then when she and her brother's wings grown in and they get more mature forms she barely changes while her brother ends up actually looking aged up. There's also another character, Merlin, who's introduced as a super hot woman and it's later revealed that that's not her true form and she's actually physically a kid.
The miraculous give the ability of confusion so its nearly impossible for anyone to make the connection no matter how obvious it is. They specify this at one point in the show, im not sure when though. Even then its quite easy to miss it because they use it as throw away information.

The worst part about Elaine is that she is canonically stated to have the body of an 11 year old girl........ and she's with a dude that passes for 25-35. And she somehow gets pregnant and has a child without her underdeveloped body having issues. It's so gross. Even with the fairy aging/evolution thing, she doesn't change. Her brother looks more like an adult, but she still looks 11. Also, every single canon ships in the series involves p3dophilia so that's... yeah. Glad Elaine looks actually good here.
I’ve never watched seven deadly sins begore, so I may not be getting enough context. (Like the cat maid anime that was.. yknow..) but Elaine’s like appearance makes sense, because when I think of fairy’s I think of like tinker belle and like paimon from genshin. 😭
elaine actualy looked more mature in manga (when she was ressurected by one of the demons) its just that for some reason they drew her face with kid like proportions, like yeah fairies are supposed to be smaller but that doesnt mean that they should be portrayed as kids but more like smaller but still mature looking adults
World building wise.... adunno, you can't make Elaine just be a human. You need to make it clear that she's an immortal faery. Her eternal child body was one way to do that, you can draw her adult and give her sick faery wings. That could work. Or something otherworldly, cause she can't just look like a regular woman. I agree, the romance between Ban and Elaine is pretty weird. Which is why King isn't so much a problem even tho he's the same age. Helbram and Gerheade's fashion and design looks way more faeryish. They got the fashion and Helbram's body especially just looks more pointy, he doesn't come off as human-like as much. I think Elaine and King both look too human, maybe if you aged em both and gave them more faeryish fashion inspired by the rest of the faery-folk. That could be interesting.

The mangaka definitely meant for Elaine to look like a kid and not just a petite woman, she was straight up mistaken for a little kid by Ban when they first met, so people can't even argue that she's just a short, petite woman lol. And then when she and her brother's wings grown in and they get more mature forms she barely changes while her brother ends up actually looking aged up.
There's also another character, Merlin, who's introduced as a super hot woman and it's later revealed that that's not her true form and she's actually physically a kid.

The miraculous give the ability of confusion so its nearly impossible for anyone to make the connection no matter how obvious it is. They specify this at one point in the show, im not sure when though. Even then its quite easy to miss it because they use it as throw away information.
I love the suit for cat guy but I like the version without the mask. I also like the glow from the lights on the suit you added.

hye, yo if people are complaining about how they can freaking not recognized its ladybug or cat noir just by adding or removing the mask. at least they have a mask to cover their face on the other hand our dude clark AKA superman he does not have any mask on his face just a little slightly half moon shaped🌙 strain of hair on his forehead and people does not recognize him.
I'm not a graphic designer, but my ideal ladybug superhero outfit would be entirely black in the front and ladybug pattern in the back like a real ladybug

The worst part about Elaine is that she is canonically stated to have the body of an 11 year old girl........ and she's with a dude that passes for 25-35. And she somehow gets pregnant and has a child without her underdeveloped body having issues. It's so gross.
Even with the fairy aging/evolution thing, she doesn't change. Her brother looks more like an adult, but she still looks 11. Also, every single canon ships in the series involves p3dophilia so that's... yeah. Glad Elaine looks actually good here.

I’ve never watched seven deadly sins begore, so I may not be getting enough context. (Like the cat maid anime that was.. yknow..) but Elaine’s like appearance makes sense, because when I think of fairy’s I think of like tinker belle and like paimon from genshin. 😭

I used to watch Miraculous as a kid, and it was fine when it was on Nickelodeon…then it went to Disney
elaine actualy looked more mature in manga (when she was ressurected by one of the demons) its just that for some reason they drew her face with kid like proportions, like yeah fairies are supposed to be smaller but that doesnt mean that they should be portrayed as kids but more like smaller but still mature looking adults

World building wise.... adunno, you can't make Elaine just be a human.
You need to make it clear that she's an immortal faery. Her eternal child body was one way to do that, you can draw her adult and give her sick faery wings. That could work.
Or something otherworldly, cause she can't just look like a regular woman.
I agree, the romance between Ban and Elaine is pretty weird. Which is why King isn't so much a problem even tho he's the same age.
Helbram and Gerheade's fashion and design looks way more faeryish. They got the fashion and Helbram's body especially just looks more pointy, he doesn't come off as human-like as much.
I think Elaine and King both look too human, maybe if you aged em both and gave them more faeryish fashion inspired by the rest of the faery-folk. That could be interesting.

Chat Noir and Ladybug are like 14-15 if i'm not wrong, and they both are less than 5'3 in heigh, but the desing are rocking it.

Not biggest fan of those glasses on the cat dude, but outside of that it’s awesome.
A few characters you can do are tetsuo(Akira) Joe(Megalobox 2 Nomad) or Laban Vanot (beyblade burst turbo)
