I was copping every magazine with a Canibus article in it, everytime i read about a beef he just got, i always ended up thinking that he was in he wrong and i was a super duper fan, but i couldn't lie to myself, my friends and i always thought he's good but seems like a douche in real life.
Plus, you can tell Math knows he is in front of the guy who got 30ed badly by a guy who beat him badly on cam...so, no need to gas him more than that. lol
@@time558 Except he isn't and Canibus explains everything. There was nothing he beat around the bush on, but the explanation was longer than necessary.
“MC’s run away when I kick it. They act so chicken, they should come with a large drink and a biscuit.”- Canibus
Yep it was a couple rappers that said Canibus was the first one on that internet shit....but I remember when he beefed wit LL n that tape leaked of them talking but he was like yeah I was on the internet earlier they talking bout this shit (they beef) Everywhere dawg " Because if I'm not mistaken LL was tryna get Canibus to not respond to his diss.
🤣 he danced around this question masterfully 👏
Real shit 😂😂😂
I wish he would have responded because Em would have had his hands full dealing with his level of lyracism
Eminem doesn't care... He killed can-i-bust
It’s some what true. Just like Drake… universal is not letting nobody disturb the energy.
He did too he was scared is all lol just say you didn’t want that smoke with Em lol 😂 booy yes or no question not the history lesson but yes or no why didn’t you clapped back at em ?
Canibus is so interesting and human. Sees through the matrix and has been rapping about it for like 20+ years but so underappreciated and he seems to live in a slightly limited version of himself because of all the criticism over the years and even today the best interviews he does really don't touch on his true wisdom and talent and it's a shame he keeps having to lower himself and vibe with people that still don't seem to really appreciate the artist they are talking to. Like this man is capable of really breaking some shit down and he's capable of making some pretty mind boggling music if he throws off all the creative and personal limitations he puts on himself. Love ya Bus, namaste 🍄👽✝️
This is what people don't get - Bis is one of the greatest and it's a damn shame people don't get it. You are in the minority.
Him saying Em consigned the show should tell you everything yiu need to know

I loved c true Hollywood stories 😸
MMMMMAAAAN I JUST LISTENED TO "BEAST FROM THE EAST" for the first time......
bro i heard it when i was 7 changed my life
he just dropped a new album im listening to it now

Definitely think this dude got blacked balled after that LL situation.
💯
He was seen as the loser. Didn’t help Wyclef produce a trashed album
@@PrimeTimeRambo Damn you think getting all those awards is trash?
I understand he wasn't perceived as the strongest member of the group but the question remains, what have you done?
I mean like your criticizing a guy. It was wildly exceeded most people's success in the world being famous, making music getting himself out of poverty. I mean like who are you to say what you're saying?
Because of this guy is trash. What does that make you?

Canibus is a legend in hip hop.
This guy is one of the best writers of all time, listen to that first album he put out, he’s a lyrical genius.
I cannot find it anywhere. I was so saddened when him and Wyclef fell off
best writers but he needed his notebook for a battle?! FOH 😂
@@rikkidgermano9640 you are missing out. feel sorry for you.
I tell everyone that dont think Canibus is the Best to read the comment on how people view him. This dude may not be human! This is the next best thing to Jesus when it comes to rap. This man poetry would have made hood dudes turn to science and computers.
.i remember that whole Stan thing canibus did & it had me scratchin my head lol
The black balling of Canibus and the Wu-Tang radio ban altered Rap music for the worse. Wu-Tang, a band of strong men, and Canibus, a super rare iq and intellect.
This dude has nothing to prove... Absolute legend to ever pick a mic🔥
Remember when he brought a notebook to a battle?! He has everything to prove!!!

Great observation God.

One of the dopest emcee to do it.
I'll say it again, in their prime this would have been absolutely epic
YES!!! Smh We missed out man.
What prime?! He still had a momentum but killed it when bringing his notebook to a battle 😂
@@rikkidgermano9640 Canibus's prime lyrically was from about '97-'03...
Canibus did respond multiple times. However, he isn't lying about the industry. Compare it to now, where MGK arguably had a standing against Eminem. If you're saying MGK > Canibus... That's your opinion. But I don't think many will agree. (Including me)
@@tellmesomething2412 They both sent little shots here and there to each other but nothing substantial. "You Didn't Care" was hardly a diss to Em. "Airstrike" was a full diss but it was too late and I'm not saying MGK is better than Bis, but do you really think Airstrike was harder than MGK's diss to Em? Also, Em never really released anything substantial either.. It looked like both of them were waiting for the other to release the bomb so they could respond.
Let the brother cannabis know that paperwork never Fades away there's ways where you can scan it and bring it back so the print can be seen just get the paperwork right away and preserve the paperwork put it in plastic if it isn't already in plastic all he's got to do is scan it ASAP!

Canibus is right. There’s probably a few guys that battled mm and won easy. But ask those guys to battle mm again and see if they win. Sometimes people believe the hype.
It's crazy how life is played out in fragments of the Corinthians page 202 the subject matter of the conversation kind of reminded me of that💯☝️......
I believe canibus is telling the truth
Can-i-bus is the one that made fall in love with battle rap... inspired my rap world and was a pinnacle of lyricism... boi was hard... 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Canibus one of the best that ever did it, period, point blank! 🎤👑
Let’s goooooooooo 💯💎
Reason why everybady is like Eminem is the best it's because who ever he battles they make sure behind the scenes they pay people to shut that person up so thas why all of these good niggas who had battle with Eminem they ain't anywhere now but he still is
basically
The person whose name he doesn't want to say is Loui Lombard, I think. Bis has spoken about him a few times, and even briefly mentioned how Lou screwed over Killah Priest.
I believe your right. LOUIE LOMBARD THE 3RD IR SOMETHING LIKE THAT
He mentioned Lou Lombard Hella times on c! True hollywood
I wasn't even thinking about Louie. He was all over C True and I believe Mic Club. I forgot all about that name. To be honest I thought he was talking about Harry Fox mainly because I was listening to Harry Fox Hates Hip Hop like a few weeks ago so that name was fresh in my mind so as soon as he got on the topic of not wanting to mention, Harry came to mind, shit I forgot about the falling out with Louie. That's crazy... Canibus has too many stories. He needs a podcast... I got to send him one of the Sammy The Bull podcast episodes. Bis needs to take a story at a time and upload em like Sammy does on his RUclips... That would be so fire! He replied to a few of my comments on IG... I wonder if I could convey this idea to him. Sammy is killing it on RUclips. Every episode he's got a 100k views or so at least... People gonna wanna hear more stories about Pun and Freaky Tah and Halle Berry and Biz and G Rap and John Forte and Mona Lisa and Mya and Yvette Michelle and DMX... Canibus has those stories... He could tell them on his own podcast. No effort on himself and get checks out of it. Why aren't we funding this?
Facts, I also think Lou also screwed Ras Kass over too. His label screwed over Jedi Mind Tricks as well if I'm not mistaken.

If you say Canibus can’t rap, I can’t respect you. Dude is a literal unsung goat, just wasn’t industry ready. That’s all he lacked was industry groomin

Maybe. I still prefer Supernat vs Juice.
The thing is wouldn't have been fair. Like with LL you'll have one artist who's diss will get play 24/7 around the clock. And the other artist you'll have to do research to find his record.
@@moxmann not really. In 2000, both Canibus & Em were both popular artists, both top tier, feared lyricists. That battle would’ve been ridiculous.
Yes I remember the record. I actually bought that album from the store
Canibus giving in-depth explanations and speaking his truth just so Math can blow him off. What a great interviewer.
Because his truth is full of shit and always has been. He burned every bridge attached to him consistently.
@@uwot5308 nop

@@uwot5308 he only burned bridges cause he was young and naïve. He thought he could go at the legends and didn’t realize there would be repercussions from the industry. The tracks he released towards LL were absolutely savage, but the Em disses were tame af. It’s not a coincidence
He was ahead of his time an age!! 🎉
"The Canibus is an animal".. One of The best to do it. Much respect to this brother. I always felt like he was a victim of poor timing-- Not his fault. When his album came out in the late 90s, quality hip hop was being pushed out the mainstream. Think abour it, B.IG had passed in 97, radio rap was becoming flashy and basic. Canibus was a golden era caliber mc! He belonged in that category with Nas and Wu, like 93-94. Its unfortunate that his debut album didnt come out in the early 90s instead of late 90s.
“An Animal with the mechanical mandible.”- Canibus
Idk. Out that lates 90’s early 2000’s brought DMX,Em, 50, Cassidy, etc.
@@Dontdoit_ every artist u named was mainstream friendly. So u literally proved my point... Eminems marketability was whiteness; 50 was gangsterisms; dmx was initially marketed as " the second coming of 2pac;" and cassidy was co-signed by swizz beats which helped elevate cassidy... Canibus was Different from every artist u named! He had an early 90s vibe AND his lyricism was too complex for ordinary/106&park type listeners. If canibus came out in 93, he wouldve had 3 whole years,(93 to 96), to cement his name and he ***wouldve*** had widespread acclaim like nas and the wu. Instead, only rap purists give Canibus the credit he deserves. He doesnt get mass cultural recognition like Nas et al, but he Should tho
