I've never thought russia would trade military equipment for soda, hahaha 😂 Or have a 10 hour long line just for people to try a mcdonald's burger, lol Something you can get for $1-$4 here, and there are an abundance of them here to choose from. I barely eat fast food, but sometimes I treat myself just because I find it an experience 🤷🙂👍 To be honest I've not seen RUclips channel so far with as wide content variety as yours, and I respect that and enjoy the variety 💯
This is awesome! Even though I know little about Russia I'm much older than you and I recall some of these events in history. Its interesting seeing your reaction as even though you're Russian, you are much younger than me. I'd love to learn more about Russia from you if you can find more videos like this one to react to. Great video! Thanks!

oh man, talk about the old days. Pepsi and McDonalds may have dominated the old USSR, but it was their taste in western items and clothing that brought down the Soviet Union at that time. The Pizza Hut in Russia, I never knew they had one. From what I heard, they still love Gorbachev.
When I went to Saint Petersburg 3 years ago, I was so surprised how many Papa John's Pizzas were there. Seemed like every neighborhood had one. Vodka of course is served if you want. Loving your hair and makeup And your very full Amazingthat color Red lip stick is Amazing . And great job with your reaction to History of Fast Food in USSR . 8hrs for a Cheese Burger and Fry's that insane and there probably would be Cold .
The Pepsi story was hilarious. But, as an American, I cant help but think "The main reason many people around the world like us is not because of our freedoms, our democracy, our constitution or our ethnic and cultural diversity, it's because of PEPSI and BLUE JEANS". I have never seen that Gorbachev Pizza Hut commercial in the US. I have never heard of Hesburger.
I would argue the USSRs constitution was superior in every way. The right to education (including higher education), healthcare, work, equal rights to woman decades before the west. The USSR was also extremely culturally diverse with full and equal rights granted to all nationalities and races. Russia is very big, it borders China so there is a lot of diversity. Your right though, Russians did long for market reform (access to luxury items) but not the illegal dissolution of their country and the rights it provided. America is also one of the most hated nations around the world. They have occupied bases in nearly one hundred countries. People don’t like that. They like their sovereignty respected.

@@RussianReactionReviews I got a cheeseburger with fries and a Coke. My older sister took me, I was almost 6. Funny thing, we were also used to eating everything off the plate mentality. My parents wouldn't let me get out from behind the table until I was done, even when I said I was full... Some breakfasts would last into lunch when I just wanted to go outside and play. 😕
I remember McDonald's opening in the Soviet Union. It was a pretty big deal. Where I am, Pizza Hut isn't considered great pizza. I am ok with the makeup, and ok without it. You're a beautiful woman, so that is kind of a personal choice. I, personally, haven't set foot in a McDonald's since 1996. I just don't care for their food. To each their own. Five Guy's....now....Irina, if you haven't had Five Guy's...go! Eat!. It is delicious. My favorite fast food fries. Like the reactions, so keep up the good work.
Because Russia traditionally has been the economic & political antithesis of the United States I have always been interested in his type of history. Especially, during this transitionary period in the 90s. Awesome reaction!
It's good to see Montana again. Hey if you want to react to some American childhood stories I have a video called "Rob's outrageous stories that just so happen to be true.ep 7 (Childhood memories)"
I envy any country that's been around for like 2000 years. America is still young and it's inevitable that one day we too will fall on hard times for possibly 100+ years. In the end we all want prosperity and comforts. I would love to have Russia's Crepe shop near me. Those look delicious!
I love your Frenchie! I think you've named your Frenchie 'Montana' ... is that correct? That is what I'm hearing you say. Oh my gosh. My French Bulldog (Dottie) passed away, and she was always so small, but yours ... so big! And big in a healthy way. Wow. So unique. And I love the picture behind you. Frenchie with the glasses. You're so cool. 🐾🐾
@@RussianReactionReviews Dottie was my first dog and also my first frenchie. I did get another one after she died. I've had 2 of them now. What part of the US are you in out of curiosity? I'm wondering because in some states, there are some outlets of a Canadian donut chain called Tim Horton's. It was originally started by an ice hockey player of the same name. If nothing else, I would recommend getting Timbits, which are pretty much doughnut holes. I just found your channel, and it looks pretty good. Best wishes from Thunder Bay, Canada. 😀
You are looking amazingly gorgeous 😍 tonight. I feel like tonight is date night 🥰 fast food will be fine for me. I enjoyed the picture of Moscow's skyline 🌃
That ridiculously long line at McDonald's got me thinking that maybe Russian people are the best example of what Yoda says in Star Wars: "do it, or don't, but try not". As Russians would either not do something, or do it to the top of their effort and possibilities. No halfway measures. Not a bad attitude towards life if you ask me. Great video Irina! Hopefully you'll soon find the time to react to the song "Retrospection" by Ukrainian band Jinjer. The song is sung partly in Russian and partly in English, so you may find it interesting. Cheers from España! :)
@@RussianReactionReviews I wish it had been for something fancy, like a concert or something like that, but it wasn't. The longest line I got stuck in was in college. There was an administrative collapse of sorts with my university's intranet and all of us students flooded into the administration building. It took about 9 hours for someone to call me in and handle my case. For a couple days most students in my campus had all our passed curses/subjects gone from our files until they got restored x) Anyways, you haven't shared about your long line experience, have you? :P
These types of fast food restaurants produce the most unhealthy artery clogging food in the world. The corporations that own these restaurants are experts at marketing and propaganda. They heavily contribute to why America has the highest obesity rate in the world among it's citizens. Regarding these types of food places opening in Russia, I like to think it's more of a fascination or curiosity of American culture, than the food itself.
