I still remember falling in love with my bestfriend, he was my first love. I still remember the day he kissed me in the class when everyone else is out. I still remember the day he put his arm around me and i laid my head on his shoulders and we just enjoying our moment together. We are too young to understand love, yet there was us loving each other company until everyone else around us started to feel suspicious and throwing us hate. In the end, we have to be separated bc the surrounding wont let us be together.

I missed the person I love so much, but because of everyone against us. Our relationship has become toxic and decided to end it. I still remember the time when I wrote her a letter and it slip through from my folder without noticing it in school. And after a few days, I was called into the office, same goes to her and after that our disciplinarian scolded us so much because our relationship is very unacceptable and a disgrace since our school is Catholic. Hahaha, we both just innocently love each other purely and dearly. Is it so wrong? Haha, and it pains me to remember it all, till now. The ending was so tragic that we didn't even have time to tell our parents about our relationship. We were like automatically out of a chance to be accepted and we were almost given a 3days suspension because of it. It was very traumatic and painful. I still remember, I cried so badly and kneeled down to the disciplinarian to don't do it. And we would promise to stop the relationship we have. SOME ADULTS CAN NEVER UNDERSTAND HOW MUCH IMPACT THEY'VE DONE.

Came across the movie yesterday, I clicked without reading the synopsis. I am probably not a homosexual but thinking about the pain of youngsters who don't even understand and adults being shamed and hated just for innocently loving someone makes my heart shatter. It's not easy to translate really... especially when the translation has to be concise enough to fit the original tempo/melody. Though I must admit as a native Chinese, this song is truly relatable, meaningful and heartbreaking.

This movie I can relate so deep, 1987 the year I had my first love, my first heartbroken, my first rock bottom and I found shoulder to cry on my friends, actually I was very brave on telling them and lucky due they let me cry my heart out. I had it bad and I kind of lost faith in other people in case of love matters, surely pity for me hehehehe, I had my dosage of adventure and few relationships and again when the millennium started I gave myself a chance again, year 2000, 4 months of intense passion and again a huge heartbroken, again cry out loud on shoulders of other friends, another rock bottom.
I avoided meet up any of my last relationships face to face or online. However destiny plays itself, year 2010 I met my real love and I listened “I’m really sorry “, I honestly wanted to curse and shout and speak up how bad I had been, in the end I instantly thought, “for what?” , I just answered “I forgave you a long time ago”, pathetic. I just said goodbye and unfortunately I cried on my car before head home. For whom started life in this modern times, I wish you lucky 🍀 in love, it didn’t work out for me, I really wish works well for you guys.

Few weeks ago I decided to let "Birdie" go for good. We've been in multiple toxic cycles and I just had enough. I did loved and cared for him though but staying would be unfair to myself. I have been neglecting myself and keep on dodging the reality of the situation that the same person I met 10 years ago isn't here anymore....if we ever meet again in the future I just hope that I can face him without the feeling of resentment.

When I watched the movie last December, I was in a difficult situation, more so after watching this. The movie was a spectacular debacle amongst the oppressors, the oppressed and the marginalized. Indeed, how sad is it to fall in love in "that" generation. And knowing that I am also the both of the characters (closeted and anxious), this was so relatable in all aspect. Anyway, your version just made me shed a tear, it was sad yet majestic, full of emotions that you could somehow relate to. Continue and enjoy singing.
This song always takes me back to the night that changed what love meant for me, February 13, 2015 10:36 p.m. The moment I confessed my feelings to my only best friend. After 4 months of literally searching the internet what I was feeling towards him, it only leads to one answer. I was in love with him.
He asked if I was sure with what I'm feeling. I said "Yes" more than once but he wasn't feeling the same. Made me think and look at myself a lot lower than what I already am. All those kisses and nights shared together for the past half of the year-everything doesn't mean anything to him. I realized I was robbed of the only things I have that time, pure love and innocence. I kept loving the wrong people ever since.

Again after completing the movie I came here..this movie is full of feelings not desire..jia-han loved him from his internal soul as birdy too, but he knows like outside's eyes are blindfolded so he keep his feelings suppressing under the pillow and try to kill.. As jia-han also hold, to control as he thought to try to like girls but it's love not desire that can be fullfill by any pill..he did many foolish things but can't rid out..he wanna the love from birdy..
They both actually liked in first glance but wasn't sure so first birdy get close to him and start to feel comfortable and same with jia-han, he too felt as to live with him, move around with him, share everything, poke to each other..whether people thought birdy was crazy but he knows that this world doesn't allow only suppress on the basis of gender..as Jia-han started to like him but does not care of world and being really crazy(he did those foolish things)..
But they truly love each other, because of their society they sacrificed their happiness for half of their life.
But I envy their love, feelings, caring, happiness.😘🥰😍😇
I loved every single scene of this movie..it totally reflect the situation in which LGBTQ+ people faced and ignored or neglected by the world, and get tortured as hell.

cried so much at this movie cos it hit home so much even tho im a lesbian. i still remember my first girlfriend back in high school, how we kept our relationship secret for a while until her parents found our text messages and punished her and told me to stay away from her. i'll never forget how horrific that night was, how much i cried feeling like it was all my fault that happened to her. it'll always make me sad how so many lgbt people go through similar experiences in their youth.

From the movie perspective. I could say that this is a more mood-lifting than other movie of the same genre. It sweet, it bitter, but no one die in the end.
