Being a social worker is a passion for me and I have learnt a lot from this video. I will be armed to the teeth when immigrating to Canada. God bless you for this great job you're doing. Wendy from Nigeria.
This is a very informative video. I'm a social worker and I've procrastinated making this video for months lol 😆. I've supported few immigrants through this process. Are the processes province specific? Because I helped someone who had bachelor and master in social work from Bangladesh and the person was give only bachelor 😊 qualifications, which isn't bad. There is another struggle that immigrants have generally regarding job search, interview processes, and hiring processes job just for social work jobs alone. It will be nice to do a video on this, especially interview tips. Thanks for doing this.
The CASW assessment is central, it is the final registration that is province specific. I have a video about job search, I should update that soon. Thanks for the suggestion.

But i couldn't see children and families department in the other Canadian universities websites (university of Alberta, Manitoba) haven't the other canadian universities got children and families department? By the way, is is hard to getting accept from the Canadian universities without no Job experience. Because i will apply that department when i graduated from university. I asked too much questions, sorry for that:(

@@MARINAESIRI thanks alot
Hello, thank you so much for this useful video. I'm studying preschool teacher training in turkey. And i want to do master in social work in Canada. I will apply Canadian universities next year but i have some questions i hope you reply to me because I'm very confused :( I heard that if you do master in social work you choose which department you want. (Mental health, children and families etc.) When i looked university of Toronto's website i saw that there is a department as "children and families" in the second year of the master.
