39:26 some wives switch from girlfriend to wife mode immediately after marriage because of some of the traditional lessons they go through. I’m from Zambia and mostly, few months before marriage, older ladies are brought in to teach you about marriage. After that process, I’ve heard some men complain that their wives changed so much and they don’t even know who they married anymore. Most of The lessons are good, but we have to learn how to choose what applies to the men we are married to
@@anonnona6433 and the same men that women claim they are doing it for are saying they don’t like it 😂 yet women continue to convince themselves that if they don’t do it, their marriages will be unsuccessful
@@KoKazTreatzKomanaKatangaTetteh 😂😂😂😂😂 I think they like it only that they want their wives to have both sides 😂😂😂😂😂😂more like eating your cake and having it too 😂
Actually I believe when we love people truly, we should be in position to evolve with them. I understand for us women we see potential in our men, that's why we are willing to accept a man who has nothing to his name but has the potential. We see what they are able to achieve. But men on the other hand see what is standing before them. That's why they struggle with accepting us when we evolve. However, the best part would be loving the inner person (inner beauty) because even when we change physically, the inner person usually remains. Also let's love ourselves first because when we are in love with ourselves, there's a happiness that radiates from within that keeps us glowing/attractive.
Ladies ladies, gorgeous as ever. We have to comment as we watch so that we do not forget points 😅. I am as literal as Beverley! I like being intentional with the things I say and do, but simplicity signifies the magnanimity of the soul. Simplicity really does it mostly. I am neither a plant person nor a pet person. I could be responsible for either as an obligation if I had to tend to them, but out of my will, I would not have either at the moment. Maybe that will change someday. Love for me is an action/doing word that puts me in a position that I would want to give every good thing to others the same way I would want to receive it. To make a person feel better. Unbelievably, I read the Bible and I somehow skip Songs of Song...I deliberately avoid it yet I am a certified lover of love, I believe in good love. Older love and mature love are about companionship. I no longer want butterflies, I need stability, I need reassurance, and affirmation. I now value compatibility and chemistry. We can do things together more often than not; we can stay attractive spiritually, mentally, emotionally, physically, and financially. Not easy but that is the work to put in. Adaptability is a bonus! I loveeeeeeeeeeee Dr. Myles Munroe's teachings on a lot of things, but especially on character and advantages of singlehood.💃 I am not going to repeat what Beverley has said, I just will put it on repeat and say louder, please; embrace your wifely persona, you are a powerhouse. You are a powerhouse in every element. Embrace stages, embrace stages, respect stages. Eh, all good points on this one. To the lady who wrote in sorry sorry, you will be okay since you are seeking solutions; take time and listen in on the episodes of the reality check channel, to heal traumas and work on yourself. see also the good wife channel and see how Ben and Racheal Mwine, with another couple, navigate the narrative of provision, different personalities, and how they show up in love and family dynamics, a more effective way to communicate with men. We see things differently. All the best. Men and women are conditioned differently from childhood when it comes to relationships, sex and marriage. Men are told to make money 💰 and everything else will fall in place. No one tells them to have decorum, to be nice and polite, to be virgins, to clean after themselves etc. No one ever asks a man to behave well lest he fails to get a spouse. Girls on the other hand, ooops.....like someone pointed out, in some of our cultures, the girls are literally initiated into wifehood and during that period, you are told to do A, B, C, D...Z lest you lose your man. As the girl is being hammered with all these things, the man is living his best life without a care in the world . Even if he fails to provide, the pressure will still be put on the woman, to do something about it, to massage his ego, to wake up and pray, to be long suffering and keep her marriage. Etc. I have never heard anyone tell a man to wake up at 3 am to pray for his marriage 🤔
For the lady who asked for advice, I also think she should do some of the things for herself that she expects from the man. It takes away pressure from the man to be the "kamala byona". If she loves flowers, she can order weekly flowers for the home. If she loves gifts, she can purpose to buy herself something on a monthly, etc. Then she can also initiate some romance and see how he responds. Schedule dates and he will show up and pay, and be content with that fact without being bothered that it isn't him who planned the date. Plan vacations, etc.
I was in relationship literally courtship for two years in kiyumba but when I went back to uganda I asked the guy to help me with 300k,coz I used to help him with 1m+ whenever he ran to me not knowing I was kidding he went silent till now 😂that showed me he doesn't want responsibilities and by the time I asked him that money I had went back abroad without him knowing. So to me love is caring, supporting each other
Wow, I have finally discovered the real reason we separated and he didn't want to work things out having been in a long distance relationship for 5 years. Him being a borderline narcissist aside, when I moved to Kampala, I realized that we had different relationship goals and that I was being treated not the way I wanted to. He had fallen in love with my naive self who could easily be manipulated and used. But then, I'd become woke and more aware of my worth as an individual because I've always been a person who wanted career growth and he knew that. However, I was not pursuing my goals fervently I just settled for the fact that he never supported any of my dreams. And that is the version of me that he knew, so finally when I started to take action on my goals, knowing better, being more assertive, he fell out of love with me.
In my experience, I think love is selflessness, it's goodness, it's forgiveness, it's everything you ladies have shared and much more, it's indeed the Greatest of them all😊

Hullo.Thank u so much for the chance your giving us women to go for breast cancer screening.I feel am the best person to go for this breast cancer screening.Early detection is very important because it saves the life of a woman who is so important to the building of the nation.I know of a certain aunt of mine who realised breast cancer in 1997,in 2000 her breast was cut off hoping it would help.Sadly it was too late.It was realised that the cancer had spread allover her body.Mulago hospital became almost her home because she was always in and out of hospital.Unfortunately in 2002 she succumbed to cancer.May her soul rest in peace. So for sure early detection is so important.
