People all talking about super, this would have happened before super and the z fighters all wiped out so no trunks. Broly while strong wouldn't be needed as a play thing against goku and so frieza would likely just instantly kill him with a blast through the heart not allowing him to power up. It would be much later before anything would be likely to stop him.
@WWE awesomeness trunks was not ssb. He was ssg level. He never significantly damaged or overpowered black. He used strategy to get a wide open attack, and even a full power blast to his face couldn’t cause major damage. And not e wet character levels up fast. There’s exceptions like broly and frieza who are mutants of their face. Hit, a 1,000 year old assassin. Who have the ability to adapt during battle and have insane amounts of potential.

So he could care less about everyone who was below him. He only cared about the strong. If he was gonna fight, it would be against worthy challengers. The other pride troopers could take care of the fodder. That was his whole mindset.

@@chandlerdoeswhatifs9399 there's a difference between actual fan fiction where you change a plot point to suit your story and then go from there, and a what if, where you take an element and analyze how it affects the outcome, using logic and information from the source material to predict how that change influences the story.
When LSM does a what if, it's not a narration, it's mostly analysis and him explaining stuff.

They were doomed regardless if frieza lead the ginyu force from the beginning or even if the ginyu force fought together seriously they would have killed vegeta krillen and gohan right away even if they had goku the ginyu force would have killed them all still
i think a logical reason frieza would train after blowing up planet vegeta is to make sure nothing could stand in his way out of fear and pride
frieza would become the most powerful character in fiction... but them granola makes a wish to be even stronger and beat his ass, cause that's how things work.
Granola can't wish for that. He can only wish to be given his max potential at the cost of losing all the years he would need to train in order to get it.
So, better hope his best is better than whatever Frieza is capable of in a few years or so.

I've always wanted to see a Frieza who'd cared enough to master his power from birth. He'd actually be a somewhat different character, still evil, but much more focused and disciplined, less bad tempered and less insecure. One thing about Frieza's laziness in not mastering his power I've always pondered is that maybe his father actually encouraged him to not train and intentionally fed his arrogance, knowing full well Frieza would only get weaker due to his inaction, thus making him easier to control for Kold who, by the time the Namek arc rolled around, was actually stronger than Frieza had been on Namek, ya know, just in case Freezy-pop started getting ideas about doing away with his dear old daddy.

I always assumed he trained before but I guess Super needed another bad guy. Its still ridiculous to me how broken they made Frieza. He literally is the strongest potential in the entire series and only a single year of training would make him unstoppable in the universe. It's hilarious how the manga refuses to make Frieza train because they know doing so would break the series. Hes literally too strong.
The angels are so far beyond mortals that I dont see Frieza being able to stand up to the grand priest. Hell doubt he would even be able to take out Whis but maybe.
"Maybe" is still an enormous stretch when you consider the fact that Whis is actually stronger than Beerus and is always in a state of UI.

It's worth noting that in DBS, Goku does bring up that Frieza immediately went to come kill him as soon a he found the Golden Frieza transformation. I'd imagine that he barely had any of a boost for the first few months until he hit the golden form.

Frieza is currently a comic relief character that jobs to new villains. If Frieza trains, all he would do is get beaten up by the new villain to prove they are a threat to Goku/Vegeta.

Also: As a big fan of relative threat theory for Zenkai Boosts I believe I would be okay with stretching that out to our big bad existing in an environment where his natural enemies had tall ceilings for him to reach biologically.
I believe that Frieza's lack of training and the idea of ever making Cooler canon and still a rival to his brother and stronger than him virtually impossible.

Is it possible that an explanation for Saiyans and humans being able to interbreed is that the humans on earth in the show and manga are actually descended from saiyans? I feel like it would explain a lot. From ki control, to outrageous levels of strength and other feats we see krillin and Yamcha display. I just feel like it’s a good possibility. I always liked Frieza - but him becoming as powerful as a god in only four months is the single biggest power-scaling ass-pull in the series. It makes Vegeta and Goku's Namek-era power-boosts seem logical in comparison (the former getting his ass kicked by Recoome then suddenly matching first form Frieza, whilst the latter went from weaker than Captain Ginyu at 90,000 to final form Frieza-level at 3,000,000).
We're supposed to believe that Frieza could have become this powerful at any time if he had wanted to? He really just needed the motivation? Why would King Cold warn Frieza about Buu if all Frieza needed to do was train for a few months? Also, what's stopping Frieza from training again? Or is he just never going to bother training again because doing so would expose the absurd writing in the series and they'd need to come up with some dumb reason why Frieza can't easily surpass Beerus, Whis, or Zeno if he decided to train for another four months - or longer.
Super made me realize how ridiculous the power scaling is, I always thought it was kinda weird that frieza only needed 4 months to train in order to surpass Goku and Vegeta yet, Goku and Vegeta trained for years and got to where they're at now

I mean, technically, the outrageous power scaling started with Frieza's initial appearance in DBZ to begin with. Prior to that, from Radtiz to the defeat of Ginyu, the concept of 'Power Levels' existed as a novel attempt at providing us with some sort of means of observing a character's physical growth. During that period of the series, each character's power increases were measured via a hard numerical system and for the most part, the strength boosts made sense.
This worked well for a while, but it becomes clear that Toriyama was just making things up as he went along, with no real clear outline as to where he wanted the series to go. The sudden power gains of Vegeta, Piccolo, and Goku, in order to be able to match and keep up with Frieza's outrageous strength, were so so huge that it made all of the previously established slower, logical scaling seem insignificant in comparison. Even Toriyama realized this and abandoned the concept of Power Levels immediately after - but not because he abandoned the idea of power scaling completely, but rather because he could no longer be bothered to keep track of how ridiculous the scaling was becoming.
The DB series is still enjoyable for its over-the-top fight scenes and cheeky banter, but as far as the stakes of the plot are concerned, every single major fight ultimately boils down to a new villain suddenly appearing that just so happens to be way stronger than the previous, impossibly powerful villain, resulting in the heroes needing to 'train' to increase their strength, defeat the villain, who will then transform and beat up the heroes until they discover some new form/transformation/fusion and defeat the villain. Rinse and repeat. We've gone from having SSJ with a 50x power multiplier to now having WELL over seven additional 'forms' beyond that. I can guarantee that if the DB series continues, we will see Goku achieve a new form beyond 'Mastered Ultra-Instinct'. It's just totally ridiculous and the result of lazy writing designed solely to keep a franchise going in order to keep milking that cashflow. You just can't take the series seriously anymore... there is no depth, no stakes, no effort.

Yes, it's all terrible. The point is that the whole series is filled with illogical ass-pulls to push the plot along. Even in the early days, Toriyama clearly just made things up on the spot with absolutely no outline of what the overarching plot should be beforehand. And with DBS, it seems that that hasn't changed. lol

Somewhat true. Granted, if there's one single sequence from the series that displays the single greatest jumps in DB's power scaling, it is in DBS Broly. In his first fight with Vegeta, he is able to hold his own against Vegeta's base AND each successive SSJ transformation. If one without any knowledge of the series saw this sequence, they would believe that the SSJ transformations serve no other purpose other than a change of hair style/color.
Still, Broly is at least explained to be a freak of nature and is demonstrated to have some sort of limit as to how *quickly* he can adapt his strength level (although it's still stupid). But Frieza on the other hand is a character whom the heroes had already encountered earlier in the series. The fact that we have retroactively been told about his potential for power growth naturally leads us to question why Frieza never bothered to become so powerful in the past when doing so would have apparently cost him little effort or time. In fact, the time period between Frieza's defeat on Namek and his appearance on Earth was four times longer than the amount of time he trained for in RoF/DBS. Logically, Frieza could have spent a few hours of training with his father (who would have made a much more competent sparring partner than some weak underling) and by RoF/DBS logic, he should be stronger than Cell. Hell, both him AND King Cold could have been SSJ Blue level during that time - apparently.
In the end, the Broly example might be larger from a pure numerical perspective, but from a narrative and logical standpoint, the Frieza example is significantly more stupid and a blatant retcon.
If Frieza had done one push up in his life he would've won against Super Saiyan Goku lol, but seriously now, they should've come with that room of spirit and time plot of Granolah's saga during the events Revival of F movie with Sorbet presenting their discovery to Frieza so he could compress his training inside that room the same 10 days he trained during Granolah saga, it would be way more believable he unlocking Golden Frieza after 10 years of intense training than after mere 4 months.

I think immortality wouldn't be a problem for friezza and so only the ginyu force would search for the dragon balls along with fodder soldiers, who could have been trained up and used as training partners. A what if I had in mind was what if friezza after namek shoots all of his ki in one beam struggle before going to earth that would count as unintentional training so they might have a lot more struggle as well as king cold might transform in time meaning goku and vegeta don't fall behind gohan come the cell saga as they would be the ones fighting them both mostly.
Here is a thought. In DBS, Freiza is killed on Earth and goes to hell. While there he does mental training that allows him to master his golden form and keep up with Goku.
Who is to say he has not done similar training after his first death (on Earth) until his first resurrection
Maybe he trained 4 months in a Time chamber where 4 months equals 4 years. Meerus time chamber was like 1 day outside equals 3 inside. Also, Vegeta in 6 months surpassed Goku who absorbed god ki in his base.

Frieza’s a mutant, so there shouldn’t be a surprise as to why he could gain a lot of power in a short amount of time.
If he can go to god level by training for 4 months, he can probably easily surpass ssj goku (namek saga) by training for 1 hour
He would be totally unopposed at least until he meets Aros who feeds on the psychic energy of someone’s desires and each individual desire can potentially give her power to match someone so Frieza wanting to conquer all realities check, then she is an obstacle cause he is having a hard time beating her? Check that’s double his power but she also has a weird habit of lowering herself to half someone’s power and staying at that state to fight them but somehow outsmarting them to clap them no matter what transformations they use
