This is a newly built modern farmhouse in Wilsonville Oregon. I am the video producer and Steve Crawford the realtor in this video is who you see on camera.
This was a beautiful home and has definitely made it into our top favorite houses in Oregon.
CONS: The music?!?1? It was a distraction to say the least. What room did the kitchen face? The master closet...we saw about 50% of it. And why not show the garage??? Pro tips for the future: Walk through the house so we all see the flow, pan around each room, and give some facts regarding taxes/HOAs/home price/school options/etc. PROS: Nice jacket.
This house is GORGEOUS and pretty much checks all of the boxes for me! I absolutely love everything about it!
The modern farmhouse style is my favorite these days. I loved it and thought the house was gorgeous. I know some people weren't crazy about the size of the master bedroom, but I never understood the allure of gigantic masters and really liked the cozier space of this one. The outdoor space is also a dream. I would enjoy living on the patio! One (very) small drawback was the lack of a pot filler at the stove, but always something that can be added later. Overall, the house and property checks all the boxes for me!!!
Perfect family home and I love the way it sits on all that big land. Alot can be done around the home.
I live in Colorado, I pray for a home just like this for my daughter and myself. Also enough room for my grandparents to stay or room for nephews to have sleepover fun with my daughter. This house is gorgeous.
Yes, I need a huge master bedroom with chairs, sofa!!!! Sometimes when you have sleepover company, it’s nice to have a getaway for yourself!
Love the design, great idea to put the laundry in the master closet, but you need another washer and dryer either up stairs or in the mud room.
Justin, I like this video and this is the way a farmhouse should look like. I can see luxury living in the design in this farmhouse. This is real comfort it is saying come in stay awhile. Beckon call I am home.
The backyard is a perfect place to add a pool and hot tub
Beautiful house, well planned. Our experience of living in house with soaring ceilings was it just felt drafty. Unless you really crank the heat up, which is a big waste of energy, and it increased money considerably. Something about the acoustics of high ceiling we noticed the carries from downstairs to upstairs, so expect an investment in heavy wool rugs.
Yes, I would agree with Boss Babe Blue...you should lose the background music. Additionally, I would also like to see more details of the home by letting the camera lead the way and not the salesmen. I watch the video to see the home, and not the salemen. Showing the home from the first person perspective as if I was walking through the home myself but with the salesmen narrating the home as we go would be much better. As filmed, the video felt rushed without slow pans to show details and the true beauty of the home. The home seems to be a show-stopper and should be filmed as such. You should take your time on something of this magnitude.
Agreed... not only did the video focus on the salesman but it also skipped over half the house. If felt way more like a sales pitch than showing off the design of the home by telling people what they should check out when they come to see the house instead of actually showing those areas in the video. Pretty disappointing to those looking for design ideas once this house is sold or do not live any where near this house. Thumbs up for great looking house, thumbs down for poor video presentation.

Beautiful Modern Farmhouse Design (This is a mansion version). 99.9% of people in the world, would be able to live in a much smaller version of this gorgeous home.
Stunning home all around! Great builder! Quality throughout! I just love everything! I love the extra wide great room! And the kitchen my two favorite features in homes! A lot of people love their master bath and closet and I don't want a huge bath it looks awkward when they have them to spreaded out this one I loved

That "formal" dining room was a bit disappointing. Felt more like a snug than a grand dining room. Could have been a lot larger.
Agree, and master BR way too small also. Fail.
They may have used the space in areas that are gathered in more often. But, still offered you a dining room for formal intimate events. Master is cozy and just enough, since you're just sleeping.

I think this house is for a couple who loves entertaining, but not formally. Everywhere that is "common space" is HUGE and meant for a down home party.

I would buy this house and have no kids of my own but have my sisters and brothers come live with me LOL. They will have to help me pay for mortgage though. This is a really nice house.
I doubt home depot have dusting wands this tall to reach spider webs on those ceilings. Also, now that wildfires are sneaking up on suburbs, such a house would be a risky investment in the long term

The house is beautiful. Well built and well designed. I absolutely love layout of the family/kitchen and master bedroom, outdoor kitchen. I wish you had shown us the entry hall. Also, the formal dining is too small. We don't use our formal dining rooms often but when we do we usually have a lot more people than our family. So, having a huge dining room is a plus even if not used often. Also, for a farmhouse I want that second kitchen (prep kitchen).
I’ve never seen one built with a second kitchen. Where is that common? I’d love to see how they lay them out. Sounds pretty awesome

For 2.4 you can get a mansion with more acres somewhere else. It’s expensive to live in Oregon especially in Wilsonville

Yep. Here in Texas you can get about 100 acres or more for that price.
the house itself has not achieved any German quality, no matter how luxurious the interior construction looks, this is just a wooden hut and does not look like a solid construction house... and the entrance is to dark, the Sun doesnt shine in...even the kitchen is dark, which is due to the fact that the patio roof was made of opaque material such as wood and that the roof is too big ...

Who is gonna clean the cobwebs off the ceiling? Evidently they don't have flies or mosquitoes where this house is. Can you imagine swatting a fly on those white walls? Beautiful home but so much maintenance.

I disagree. I want my bedroom to be a place to sleep but want luxurious bathroom. I think this house is perfect.
That master bedroom is big in my opinion. It serves its purpose which is a space for sleeping. I can see the size as too small if people want a miniature living/entertainment area in the bedroom. But if you don’t need any of that stuff, then the size of this master is perfect.
It would have been nice if you could have at least just showed the master bedroom real quick instead of just the entry

okay, so how do you keep flies and other bugs from flying in through those doors, into the house? It would be a chore getting them out, just my opinion. I love that master, the laundry in the closet is my dream, that is where the laundry belongs.

The house is beautiful but what everybody really wants to know is how much the house is it would be nice if you would be able to detail the price of the home unless you want to shock everybody on the price but it's still a dream home

You mentioned the small master bedroom because of the huge closet. You never showed us that huge master closet?
Also never saw the size or given the dimensions of the two other bedrooms? Or saw the shared bathroom. Did the upstairs have a bathroom it should definitely have a bathroom or do you have to run downstairs? Not very well thought out started it out nice and then just went downhill. The laundry room is in the masterbath? Really it should have a large laundry room and actual room. What did the builder run out of money and had to take huge short cuts?
Also that huge upstairs room with a wet bar is so very dark no light. Beautiful but too many Buts for this home. Beautiful till we get to the layout of the bedrooms and what could of been a great play room or gym or wet bar but it looks like an attic and a very dark dreary one at that with no bathroom or light.
Does anyone know what colour pallette is used in the bedroom at 7:29? It looks like a grey to me, but could be sand too. Thanks

Nah. We want large bedrooms. They make bathrooms larger because it cost more and they can charge more. Small bathroom, large closet, large bedroom. Essentially this is why it is good to buy an older home and convert a smaller adjacent bedroom into a master closet.
So you tease the "huge" garage but never show it ! What ?
