Really enjoyed the Japan series vlog. Contains a good mix of travel, portraits and street photography. Feels more relatable for the regular beings like me.👍
I just got the A7iii and you have inspired me to start my own business. I have done photography for 2 years, but I fell in love with portrait photography. Thank you for being you. ❤️
Feeling nostalgic anytime I see all the photographers I follow end up visiting Japan. I still got a ton of photos and video to edit from my trip back in April haha. Nice vlog!
Yeah it took me a while to get through all my photos and video because I shot so much while I was there 😅 too many good things to capture in Japan! Haha
Thank you for coming to Japan🙌 I used to feel overwhelmed by the chaotic scenery of Osaka but seeing how many photographers really enjoy it, I grew to like it too!
I really love Japan, it's such a special place. To be honest, I did feel overwhelmed here and there while taking photos haha because there is just sooo much to see!
thank you for sharing this smile of life May happiness accompany you both On the photo side, it is clear that a city like this with these many signs must quickly make you lose your bearings! and the night photos must be sumptuous with these lights
Your love for photography has taken you all over the world and in the process you have inspired sooo many people. Enjoyable video hija, but didn't see my 3d adver The Lumix takes great pics hey?! keep up the good work hija.
Thank you dad! I did capture video footage of the signs actually, but since you are going to Japan very soon, I think it will be more fun if you see it in person 😄
I'm already back at home unfortunately, but I will add it to my list of places to visit because WOW it looks incredible!! Thanks for the recommendation
You always inspire me to shoot more, thank you so much for your videos!! Could you please share the set up you have for attaching your hard drive/SSDs to your laptop? I always find I accidentally disconnect mine while editing. Thank you so much again ❤
What are the must-see sights or hidden gems you’d recommend in Japan? What was the most surprising cultural difference you noticed in Japan? How did you find navigating the language barrier? Did you try learning any Japanese phrases?
I used to live in Osaka and this vlog makes me miss it soooo much. Julia, what was that mount for your SSD drive on your MacBook? I gotta have that as I do so much editing on the train. Thank you!
Can you explain how you do the static shot shutter drag for the motion of the people :) ? thanks! and can you do it during the day without an ND? if not what nd do you recommend for a more budget but quality option?
I personally vlog with the 16-35mm f2.8 GMII when on Sony, it's not the lightest lens but it looks amazing and is a great focal range for video and also photo
Forgive me, but I was trying to figure out what Duttonbury was. I'd spent time in Kobe but not Osaka. It's good to see Japan from an English speaker's perspective.
@@juliatrotti awesome, oh yes the Yoshi ride :) Can't wait for your Tokyo video. We went there as well (Disneyland/Sea, Teamlab Borderless.. ) and loved it.
I talked about it I think during the Kyoto section, but basically it's not a "camera bag" its a sling bag from Uniqlo, so it doesn't have any padding like a usual bag does. But either way, it worked well for the trip and my camera came out of 3 weeks of using it like that unharmed haha
Hey Julia! Great video, just like some of your others that I have seen. I have now subscribed and looking forward to learning from you. I hope you enjoyed Osaka. Lived here since March of last year so it's cool to see so many familiar places. I have also used that same vending machine for takoyaki 😂. Quick question for you: at around the 8:46 mark, your edited photo shows a little bit of a perspective shift. How did you achieve that, if you don't mind sharing. Thank you!
I am Asian and visit Japan frequent. After covid and weaker yen. Japan is just not as cool or enjoyable as before anymore not even close. It’s so so crowded everywhere and dang… overtourism is really an issue. Nonetheless.. the food and people is still good. Just alot of people and long queues everywhere.
Lumix needs a V2 version of all their 1.8 lenses, the current out is good, but would love to see an L-Squared version of the lens at the same price. Meaning that Lumix upgrading the lenses with Leica knowhow.
You can already buy a few of them, they are the Leica Summicron F2's. Leica liked the optical design enough they made their own in the SL series styling.
@@Slipsch My point is what is this "Leica know how" that isn't already included in the lens? lumix has had partnership with leica for over a decade. The F1.8s aren't S-Pro leica certified. What do you mean not the same autofocus, do you mean motors?
Is that a problem sir? Did she mention on the title that this isn't Lumix things? Nothing clickbait makes u click this vid.. and makes sure u read the description before ranting out
Japan is starting to suffocate with the number of mass tourists, it is important, although 30 years ago, 40 years ago visiting this country, now it is over
