Then I guess there's the characters who don't seem that great in my opinion. They feel generic and the British accents of the original were way better. The game's only saving grace (imo) was meeting and helping a precursor and seeing how they look like and getting to a glimpse at what their world looks like but that's it. Everything else could be compared to normal subnautica and it'd be lacking. Like that frozen leviathan couldn't be compared to a garg leviathan, there's even a mod that has a working garg leviathan in action and it's so fucking good.

I gotta agree, when i played Subnautica (not below zero) for the first time everything was fun and exciting to see and sometimes scary, but for some reason, I was hoping to get the same experience for below zero but the best I got a wow there and a wow then, I didn't like the fact you were out of the water a good bit of the time as well kinda takes away from the subnautica aspect.

It's crazy it took this long for them to make a game multiplayer but also never added the support to their old games. Who wants to play a lonely water survival game all alone if you could play with friends...
I hope they will also add a submarine like the cyclops but you will need more players to be able to make full use of its features. So we can have more fun in multiplayer
It's been confirmed that co-op is entirely optional so it's unlikely there will be much you can do with the sub with multiple people that you can't do alone.

What i truly hope for is better animations for the Leviathans, make 'em more fluid! Other than that, i can't really complain about anything else. Subnautica is one of the best horror games I've ever played, you dont even need the Leviathans to make it scary, just looking into the depths is enough to make anyones skin crawl.
It seems really likely to me that that will be the setting of the game. It basically has to be with the Sub-Zero teaser ending. That is unless they are going to do Subnautica 2 following Riley and then later Sub-zero 2. That would actually be kind of cool.
I don't even understand why they're attempting to branch out when they've already got such a popular IP on their hands. Make Subnautica 3 what Subnautica Below Zero was meant to be. I'd prefer they branch off entirely and create a whole new planet with an entirely new ecosystem with vastly different creatures than to just constantly re use the same assets from the first game. Leviathans are great but they could do something entirely new. It doesn't need to be the same game with a new coat of paint. Bigger and more alien biomes, more tools to construct your base with and possibly add in an online mode where you can host your world with friends and play seamlessly together. There's plenty of possibilities out there to explore.
Subnautica has a style still. Biomes, leviathans, the style of base building, and underwater exploration as a whole is what makes subnautica subnautica. It will be a different planet tho.

Below zero wasn’t bad. You’re just overreacting cause you like to hate. The game was expansive in parts (iceberg zones, Lilypads, deeper parts of purple vents, tree spires) it is dark in parts (thermal spires, deeper parts of lilypads, under icebergs) it is definitely ominous despite being brighter and is definitely adventure friendly. Yes it is brighter but it isn’t THAT drastic. It is still a good game just not quite as good.
