- can you play fallout 4 without leaving sanctuary? This is a fallout 4 challenge run to find out if you can have a successful playthrough without ever leaving sanctuary. This is one of many fallout and elder scrolls challenges I'm going to be doing.
This was a fun fallout 4 challenge and apart of 'can you play fallout' series. I used fallout 4 mods in this playthrough but they were only for appearances, no mods to help with the challenge or console commands to aid my goal. I only used what's already in the base fallout 4 game and what tricks anyone can do.

This was just fantastic. You described the descent into madness perfectly. The whole time I did this in Diamond City I kept thinking about how much more fun this would be in Sanctuary
this is the story line where the death of the partner drove them mad and they when to a "normal" life

the idea behind the challenge is to just keep players in sanctuary building up the settlement so they can make a really interesting settlement ,
build the settlement up . show us your settlement workshop building skills

i am a diamond city police office from diamond city and i am working with nick valentine , all of a sudden i turn level 15 and now i get this message to this case in far harbor on the radio i live at homeplate
i am in far harbor right now working on the kasumi nakano case / far harbor case.. after i solve the case , when i get back i will get back to my neverleave sanctuary challenge on this character...but like i want to see what happens if we neverbeat the game but also keep playing the game
for instance just fast forwarding the time to many years in the future does not seem to do the trick though , so u got to play the game always be doing stuff and posting videos, only time fast forwarded is sleep time ...i seen months go by on some of these playthroughs though it gets interesting when players will generate attacks on there own settlements in order to test there settlements defences. this should be part of then ever leave sanctuary challenge as well is generating the attacks in order to test your defences to make sure they work.. 1 raider not enough go 2 or 3 raiders like put i enough raiders or settlement attackers rather, u might go ghouls or super mutants , but like got to test your settlement defences.
this settlement builder evil viking 13 got me interested in this idea of generating attacks to test your defences in the sanctuary - red rocket homestead at the wall ...and i remember cogswarth ran all the way over to the settlement wall out there next to the red rocket...the settlement wall was actually red rocket settlement itself it was many floors up ... and these settlers lived onthe floors. but from the distance in minutemen park it just looked like a defensive wall to me .but then everyone went back after the raiders were defeated and then you see like cogsworth moving through there.. and then doing more attacks.. and showing us viewers more of these videos that show how things are done..
Carla shows up after you meet her on the road up from the Drumlin Diner. She just sits there waiting forever, until you walk up.
Whats actually funny, is without mods on my Vanilla save, she straight up spawned in middle of sanctuary and she just started talking to me, I was like Im sure I didnt do anything yet, not even concord. Lmao but yeah, she usually does sit there
I did the never leave sanctuary challenge once. She starts showing up once your settlement gets so big and/or productive without meeting her
She can show up without meeting her in the wild. Just random when she does.
The Sanctuary Quest can also trigger her to start moving around the world.
@@PidgeyHowler I just did another playthrough a few days ago and Ive never seen Carla get ripped up by a deathclaw In the worst way I was walking down the street from concord and started talking to Trudy at DrumlinDiner and she just got straight WRECKED whilst I was talking to trudy. I was like maybe if you stayed where you was at... maybe it wouldnt have happened Lmfao
You can make a load of money by selling water from the water purifiers and selling it to the stores. No glitches needed
Also the brahmin is good you if gives you fertilizer you and use for jet and sell the jet for mega cash
True i filled the entire river with water purifiers and it pretty much just gave me access to every item in the stores

Best to add a enemy raid mod.
Build up defenses, summon massive enemy attacks for resources.
I find the defense aspect to be so much fun

@@ashesgaming841 that's one of them, but I did find another one as a regular mod on ps4.
To be honest, the creation club one works great though. They just get bigger and more deadly each wave, eventually coming in power armor etc.
If you toss on some increased difficulty mods and play on survival, the raids become insanely intense. Save often!
Seeing the mannequins reminds me of I Am Legend.
Even more so considering Dogmeat is literally on the outskirts of Sanctuary

I believe if you keep intelligence at 1 and use the idiot savant perk you will actually level up faster on average
Bit of a dark twist at the end, but awesome vid! I noticed the junk glitch during my platinum play through, but I didn't know how it worked and still have an epic water empire on my save. Makes me wanna go back and play again

Always remember. At a certain level, Dearhclaws will show up and no one wants to get caught with their pants down. Build those defenses.

No, you can't even you were able to do that. 3:50 Carla (merchant/npc), only starts visiting Santuary after you have a conversation with her on the road that passes through Concord and goes towards the Corvega brewery.

also to get carla to show up you have to talk to her outside concord, near the billboard- and don't mug her. So basically a no go for the run :(

You do know you can get dogmeat without unlocking red rocket on the map. Get as close to them as you can and just shoot him and he will run over to you and introduce himself 😂
when you build a shop you can wait because from what I remember they deposit 100 caps in the workshop daily

Thanks for this. Spent around 200 hours playing this game and have restarted the game what feels like a million times. I have restarted it again, but this time, I'm going to rank up my Xp, ready for when I have the highest level I can get, without leaving sanctuary. I'm hoping to get at least level 11 idiot perk by the end of it.

there's a console command that scraps all scrapable stuff in the area.

there’s two mods that get rid of a bunch of junk in sanctuary i forgot what they’re called but i think it’s “clean sanctuary” and “clean sanctuary interiors”
If doing this for real and just for fun, I am 100% in favor of cheating the crystal. It’s just not worth it to deal with the RNG, and you’ll get it eventually anyway.
