I have a 1959 Ford Country Squire. In the late 1990's at a car show in Southbury, Connecticut I got to park next to a car identical to this one, and it had this same style grill. It was owned by a Mr. Baskin of Massachusetts who now has a home here in The Villages, Florida. He told me a few years back that he sold it to a guy that only wanted it to drive to the golf course. Every time I see him and he sees my Ford he tells me he's sorry he sold it. It's a strong possibility that this is the same car. I'm going to call him this weekend and send him a link to this video. Maybe?
It's gorgeous! If it were mine I'd remove the continental kit, and put the stock grille back on, though. The price seems reasonable, this is likely one of the nicest '59 Fords left in existence.
Funny, I bought an excellent original 1959 Ford grill at an auto swap meet last weekend. The guy claimed it was removed from the Ford in 1961 and replaced by a chrome bar grill. Could these grills have been available aftermarket, like JC Whitney? 🤔
An Incredibly Beauuutiful Car!💕
What a beautiful car, and the yellow works perfectly with it

I agree. Stock grill and ditch the swim platform.

This one is sold and heading to France.
White steering wheel means it is 🇨🇦
Really? I had no idea. I believe according to the data plate the car was built in NJ.
If it has a U in the serial number it was built in Louisville....@@orphancargarage5746
Manual brakes ?
Power. The booster is located behind the pedal where you can't see it from up top.
Looks like a 352 fe not a 332 y block
332 Was FE as well. I have a 332
In my 59 Ford
292 is the y block
NOT ORIGINAL GRILL BUT. BETTER.
We have both so it's new owner preference. I agree.
