Hi Paul, great video mate. A good beginner teacher is often the senior student in the dojo and serves as a bridge to the chief instructor. I have been an assistant instructor to 2 generations of kids for a long time now and continue to do so and have even taught classes. My beginner experience when I started was a pleasant one when Iwent into my first karate dojo. Living in a small community clubs were limited. However the club was a strong club with a good foundation and through my sheer desire that I stayed. However when I was a blue belt my then senpai now sensei became attentive to my technique instead of giving up on me showed me he cared about my progress and I am still under him 23 going on 24 years later.
