Thank you for the hope. I just found out about you today at my mental clinic and was instructed to try the personal medicine program. I’m looking forward to it.
Beautiful Pat! So wonderful to "see you" again, after all these years. Tom and I are still living our lives, not our diagnoses. Not without our struggles, but living and enjoying life.
Thank you Pat. Early in my recovery 'discovery' I saw you speak, in a video clip, where you said 'not just being a good pill swallower'. This has become my mantra for recovery, it takes work on lots of many levels. But people like you will always be my Hero's, humans who fall but get up again!
Hi Pat. Thank you for giving my son and I hope. My son was diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder just over a year ago. You inspire us to keep moving forward, as God has a plan, despite his diagnosis. I don't see him as his illness but as someone who is brave and he inspires me.
I'm so glad your son has such wonderful support from you. I'll be releasing a few more videos over the next 4 weeks to expand upon this idea of living our lives not our diagnosis. My best to you and your son.
Proud of you❤ but is recovery really possible for all patients? I truly feel hopeless and helpless and been only existing since my diagnosis or my break from reality . i desperately want this to change 😔
Hi @MA-qw6cb - I do believe that recovery is real and that it's possible to live our lives, not our diagnosis. Our diagnosis does not define. I encourage you to check out Augusto D. Mello's new book: Mental Health Recovery on a Bus Ride. It's short, sweet, and lots of good advice to get started: a.co/d/0rzbuZl
