    Good demo. I’m loving Softube Tape for saturation these days. It is absolutely amazing on the master channel.

      No problem 🙏 I get collab requests a lot, I haven’t figured out how to manage that yet 🤔

    Another dope video. Thanks MG. I ain't gonna lie, I was going to ask about the comparison. lol. But you are right, it does sound like it's, to some extent, keeping the integrity of the low frequencies (until pushed hard). And from your comparison, both plugins sound slightly different, especially with the low end.
    I love the Klevgrand stuff - just waiting for them to do an effects bundle too. But I'll get this to support the good work they're doing. Their plugs just feel smooth and there's some warmth to it too.
    Thanks again bro. Much appreciations for your work.

    Big ups for the DSM ... killer for controlling siblances.

  • @AfferbeckBeats
    @AfferbeckBeats 6 лет назад +2

    I read the manual for the plugin, and the Ducking knob controls how much the volume ducks when a vinyl scratch occurs.

  • @bodegasoundsmusic
    @bodegasoundsmusic 6 лет назад +1

    Great demonstration as always, cause I definitely enjoy what you do... 🤘 You could always try to side chain the vinyl plugin to have that mix control.

    • @MGTheFuture
      @MGTheFuture  6 лет назад

      True, use it as a send. Only issue will be how Vinyl handles the Scratch & Dust Effect as a send...but for the other effects, that would be wise.

    Great vid, I was gonna skip this plug but this demo sold me and for 20 bucks why not? I'm loving easy keys man! I've always had a feel for rhythm and chords and now its like I have a super competent key player in my pocket. It's a real game changer. Also, did you know you can feed Easy Keys a nonchord progression like a melodic line or bass line and it will make the chords for you? That's handy, it's also great for Key changes... Great times we're living in... Thanks, MG!

    • @MGTheFuture
      @MGTheFuture  6 лет назад

      I’m not sure how to get it to make the chords from melody for me 🤔 but I have seen it “chord track” a generic melody, to follow your own custom chord progression. I might be missing a step for the reverse

    • @MFrancis
      @MFrancis 6 лет назад +1

      Select your series of notes in the main view. Then select the use browser midi button (puts a red outline around the notes) then select a midi groove. It will fill in all the notes for a chord. I'm at work now so not actually looking at EZkeys. But, that worked for me...

    • @MGTheFuture
      @MGTheFuture  6 лет назад

      Makes sense, does the opposite...when your user midi is a melody and you highlight chords. That’s very useful. That’s gonna take something’s up a few levels for me

  • @mauquibzonedout

    I have checked Plugin-Alliance every other week since you review the Spectral Mapper but they price never falls. I should have got it when it was $99 in....I believe January but I didn't. Can't do the $329 mayne!

    • @MGTheFuture
      @MGTheFuture  6 лет назад

      I think I caught it for 99

    • @AfferbeckBeats
      @AfferbeckBeats 6 лет назад

      Yeah Spectral Mapper is a really useful tool, for a lot more beyond just getting a certain sound. But at that price, it's no use to me!

    • @mauquibzonedout
      @mauquibzonedout 6 лет назад

      I wonder how The Spectrum Mapper compares to Izotope Tonal Balance. I was reading just now and it seems as if it does the same but probably without as many bands as the Spectrum Mapper.

    how would you compare the goodhertz wulf compressor to these....After watching your Wulf videos i have been considering it, even with its 150.00 price tag. I haven't seen you use wulf in awhile did you think it was wroth a purchase ?

    • @MGTheFuture

      Only time I create is when I do a video these days, so it doesn’t come up after I do the first few topics. Hard to answer for general use, as I also have a real Sp404sx. I recommend using the demos of both, though they don’t do the same thing per se.

    Do you prefer the Klevgrand Vinyl FX over the vinyl sim on the sp404sx?

    • @MGTheFuture
      @MGTheFuture  6 лет назад +1

      More features of course. But the sp fx are dope too, in its own environment...that electricity does something different. I gotta use it in regular production more.

    Don’t know if it’s true but I heard that the deeper the bass the deeper you have to cut into the vinyl. So a real record can’t have the deep bass we have today. 🤷 maybe they were emulating that..

    Yea the nu wave is to sound design our own samples, making them sound 70's since taking away one of the key elements to this art form. The hybrid wave of boom bap 90's with trap drum rhythms..However I'll pass on mumble rap..

    • @MGTheFuture
      @MGTheFuture  6 лет назад

      This summer, mumble rap seems to have died down. A lot of real rap out here.
