Honestly, Amara is pretty good. She used to be my least favourite vault hunter at launch to now being my most powerful with the new gear and skill tree. Would definitely recommend trying her out.
Yup…. This build is amazing alright. Fastest clear of guardian takedown I have experienced with any character. Period. I tried Muse, Phazerker and Driver class mods and by far my favourite is the Driver. Reminds me of Zane, actually! So much fun. Really great job on this build Moxsy. By the way I enjoy the longer video because of all of the great analysis and explanations. Ha! A level 1 revolter….. neat trick!
This was the first borderlands video I watched when I bought the game! I had never played a borderlands game before and I had no idea how long it would take me to get to level 72 and start blasting through M11 to acquire everything, but I finally did last night when Evil Lilith dropped a Muse! It was so strange to finally fun the build that I first tried to back as a level 1.
this guy's so elaborate he is like a walking borderlands encyclopedia XD great work as always will defniitely do this build for my amara since it is simple yet wrecks a ton
Awesome build, the only skill points I might change are going 1/5 in do hard and taking the extra 3 points in alacrity to further help this guns longer reload. I feel like if you're using ties you don't need the extra power damage for mobbing, and most bosses I assume you're popping a phase cast for transcend, and thus not really getting value from do harm.
Absolutely love this build! I loved the slam witch build but this is one I'm definitely going to try next. I find amara as one of my most fun characters to play, yes she's a glass cannon but hey, you get knocked down but you get back up again and serve payback ten fold. Keep up the awesome work, your guides are always well explained and great fun to play.

Finally started playing Borderlands 3 a few months ago, and this is currently the build I have on Amara almost permanently. I just have to give her a Kensei if I'd feel like using other guns out of sheer laziness instead of respec-ing every time.
My amara build was already broken asf with the face puncher lol. She was already treating everything in the game like it was a joke but this gun just takes it to a whole new level now😭 Thank you so much for the guide Moxsy!

I have only ever needed to change a few skill points to fit my play stay style. Wanted to let you know you should try the face puncher on this build if u havnt already. Not as good as the new AR but still fun.
Wow dude. Kudos on this build. I just took out Hermivorous with this on Mayhem 11. Very happy with this. Used the knife drain artifact. Then it dropped a perfect Hyperion company man
Now that Expedite is fixed and works with so many things, I really want to see if is possible to do a true melee/action skill hybrid build. Since Body and Mind deals so much damage and she can potentially chain kills punching everyone, at least for mobbing seems to be a nice option
Those knives it shoots would be cool as thrown weapons in the offhand. You could really work the groundbreaker boost like a pro too if they were possible to throw
Pro tip, frozen heart shield will freeze enemies all around you.. frozen enemies take massive melee damage. Now slap on a cryo melee relic w/ additional melee and mag size.. Its a constant 2-300% extra damage on those frozen enemies. Now re roll the frozen hearts anoint until you get the ASStart version, and you'll be popping off massive insta freeze. Use phasecast and have the rifle anointed with 250 phasecast.. Honestly you can't go wrong and always have frozen melee boosts.
But what if I want to do a slam style with that 300% more gun damage after slam? (Best quick "Slam" is the punch up one that leaves DoTs.) Then combine with even more Melee with a shield anoint? +200% Melee after slam on a Re-Volter. Use Cryo Action Skill, with a Radiation Boost anoint on Grenade. Also an Ice Breaker Relic. (Planetoid / white elephant might be best.) That seems like a good combo to me. All big elements covered, tons of damage, and lots of Melee skills being proc-ed.
The build is working nice. I made a few adjustments by going into the green tree more and nothing in the blue. and I can switch between ties that bind and the 1 shot orb with guardian angle. jab cross adds a bunch more damage with ties that bind and orb, and u get blitz with 100% melee damage.
Great guide and build is awesome and puts out some serious damage, but can someone explain the mechanics of how he melted the Seeker so quickly in the opening scene?
Love the video I've built the Houdini and unleash the dragon with spiritual driver but my survivability is really low, I'm absolutely blowing everything up so damage is insane but my health is permanently going down
I found a way to shove the blade fury into zane zerker build you made it allows me to fill my ammo while I Regen it (if I can get the anointed Digi clone ammo Regen perk on it) with a cut purse artifact let's my friends run all the rockets and sandhawks they want defintily try this out moxsy
I'm loving this build and having fun with it already, now I'm hunting for decent-rolled gear and have stumbled upon a problem: the level 1 Re-Volter. Just letting it drop and going to a Lost Loot with a level 1 character didn't do the trick. I had farmed and letting lie on the ground 4 Re-Volters, my friend waited in Sanctuary. I joined their lobby and created a new, fresh level 1 character, activated the lost loot and got... lvl 37 Re-Volters, which was the level of my friend's character. Can anyone tell me where we went wrong? Or give a detailed explanation on how to get a level 1 Re-Volter?
Propably because your friend hosted the session. Try using it to teleport to Sanctuary, leave the session and start your own with your level 1 char hopefully in Sanctuary, then open the lost loot crate.
Hey Moxsy idk if you will see this since this is so old of a video. Now on to what I need to say great build but the survivability is like not there. I was just going up against psycoreaver and was getting stomped because I could keep any health. Is there any way for this build to get a single point into sustainment
I did something similar before the latest vault card, but I went down to Jab Cross with a +5 Jab Cross Breaker Class Mod for some survivability (since the +3 Muse doesn't exist in game). Definitely testing it with a +3 Mindfulness Driver next!
Good job with these guides! You should try to get some sort of timestamps in the description for gear, skills etc. tho, makes it easier for lazy people like me to copy them.. :)
I've noticed the Ebb and Flow rarely procs with this build. I think the gun and elemental damage is getting the kill credit most of the time. I'll have to continue testing it at higher level, but it seems like it would be better to put that point elsewhere. Maybe Trust in Yourself?

Yo I've been piecing up this build bit by bit and I must say it's an absolute blast. Even with just a mediocre Static Charge + Blade Fury/Facepuncher I'm already melting nearly everything in Mayhem 10. Thanks a lot, it's so much fun! However something bugs me: Is it still possible to get a Muse with Illuminated Fist +3? I'm reading everywhere that 1-point-only skills can only get a single additional point from mods. So I'm perplexed. Should I just keep farming for a +3 or just look for something like Jab Cross +4 / Illuminated Fist +1? Edit: I just read on Reddit that nope, it really can't roll +3 anymore. Kinda sad but I guess it makes sense, that seemed broken.

Facepuncher got nerfed a while back. This new gun is even better than facepuncher used to be using the same God roll gear.
