This is the only video among the so many videos I've seen on table setting that perfectly describes each arrangement. e.g. alignment of the dessert fork to the wine glass and the knife in a right angle. the red wine glass arranged on the top of the entree knife is new to me. Then it demonstrates the putting of the actual food. Excellent !
Great video. Concise and straight forward. Great voice having picked the right narrator. So nice not to have a digital voice as that can be so annoying. You did it exactly the way I would have set my table. Thanks! Darryl
The first wine goblet is huge so maybe that is why people wouldn't complain about the small portion size for the 4th serving? Either way thank you for this informative video! What a Gem!
Thank you ever so much. We do not have half the cutlery we need to demonstrate to the students at one of our schools in Jamaica but FATHER JEHOVAH GOD helped me improvise. If there is anyone who wishes to assist, please send me a message. Where is the video for a four course meal? Thanks in advance.
Place each course on the tablecloth directly and what is the strange push up of the fork. Strange things. The napkin g goes in the empty space between the cutlery or on the far left of the place with the bread plate farther to the center of the table
I know it's a few years old, but if you're still interested. It's a customary way of placing forks. Two reasons: it looks better (more aesthetically pleasing), and if you need to have various forks for different entres it saves space, and the space is precious (you see there's a bread plate right next to it as well.)
Sometimes I eat to the charger plates, it looks like main course plate anyways😁😁😁😆😁😆😁😆. Anyhow, maybe there are some error for the service, the charger plate like the other presentation should not be the same appearance to the maon course plate, maybe it should be like, silver flatwares, or fancy bronze flatwares that will not be mistakenly taken as main course plate. 😁😆😁😗😁😆 anyways I really like the professional services of fine dining. It reminds us sometimes that in dining, there should be an etiquette that should not be forgotten. Maybe it can be forgotten sometimes, sometimes it is also better to forgot some ettiquette in meals. Inihaw, I like fine dinings.🙂
I think it is brought in on a plate which has been dressed beautifully and brought to the table after the last of the empty plates have been carried away. I have worked on this kind of stuff before and it is so fun to decorate the desserts for the customers! Pure zen.

THE BEST FOR NOW, EXPECTING MORE .....
So nicely explained 👍😊
Great educational film.
If I was given such a small portion for the Entree I would be kind of disappointed.
After the first three courses you'd likely be okay : )
Lovely, simply lovely
How nice to watch

wow very good
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Aaaaand that is how it is done.
Why did he placed fish fork slightly upward from the baseline?
I don't understand how you are supposed to balance and get the fish into your mouth with that little spatula!

@@dorianlindberg1662What? You don't eat it with the spatula, why would you? It's to replace the knife, not the spoon.

I'm studying food and bevey services NC2
you forgot the cheese course cutlery
That is not a soup spoon.
im hungry
I don't agree with laying out your table set up sequence of setting desert cutlery is wrong dessert fork should be lay before the dessert spoon
A charger is very low class and never put a napkin on a plate.. one loves lintand starch in ones food.
In the UK it is considered vulgar to use soup spoons and fish knives.
no thanks, I'll use my hands.
