My theory is that there trying to test vechna in some way which is why max turns off her music Lucas is in charge of turning it back on but what happens is Jason/Bully gets in the way then they end up fighting which might end up in Max's death Afterall Lucas is terrified as he looks upwards+Max dying would end up in everyone in the main group and maybe some people outside of it to.
We can’t forget about Will dying though. He is a perfect target for Vecna with all of the past trauma he has experienced throughout the past 3 seasons. There is also that picture that Noah Schnapp posted on social media with him in the same harness that Sadie Sink had when they were filming the Dear Billie episode.
I agree I just hope it doesn’t happen yet if at all. They spent two seasons trying to save him and it would seem like it was all for nothing if he died now. If he sacrificed himself at the end of the series it would make more sense to me. Just my opinion though
Me too I have been really worried about will and he doesn’t even have a huge part this season so I think the duffer brothers just kinda left him out because they are just gonna kill him in volume 2
Killing off Mike would be such a character development push for Nancy, El and the og friend group. He always felt like the leader before they broke up a bit in season 3. It would be an interesting direction for the show. Nancy regretting even more relationships she failed on, El losing someone again, Dustin/Lukas/Will….. I can’t even explain
@@2reelmisfitz well, its debatable. they obviously dont hold back for people like max, a beloved character, so it really might be possible no matter how upsetting it may be.
Nah man, Nancy is the worst sister ever. Nancy really not going to interact with Mike after Vecna showed her the visions of her, Karen, Holly and Mike dying? And Nancy has NO interactions with Mike after seeing the visions?! And Nancy literally left Steve to babysit Mike instead in S2. And she never once comforted her brother not when Will disappeared in S1, not when El disappeared, not when El dumped him not when both El and Will left Hawkins in S3 and S4. Instead she treats him like dirt as shown in S4, yelling at him, letting him get bullied, making angry faces at him when he comes to her for help in S4. So she doesn't have development, it's actually backwards considering she told Mike to promise they tell each other everything and for the things I listed before she backtracks and doesn't do them so it's hypocritical And spoilers for S5 knowing what happens but the fact that what happens happened for those of us who know about what goes in in S5, Nancy is definitely not a good sister at all. Not even a good girlfriend either, completely unloyal to her lover. And the fact that what's going to happen to Jonathan in S5 happens too, Nancy is just 🤦 She really is the Gale Weathers of ST Nancy is the worst sister in ST history and the opposite of Jonathan. In fact when Flo said "only love makes you that crazy" Nancy thought Jonathan did that for her when it was clearly when Steve was talking about his brother Will. Jonathan did that for Will.
I also feel like Jason could die too. He was scared for Chrissy for the whole season and saw his friend die in front of him. That might have made him sad and an easy target for Vecna. In the trailer, you could see Lucas looking up in horror and probably looking at Jason because of how close they were when they were friends.
@@Iguro3785 He's gone through the trauma of losing his girlfriend and watching one of his friends get brutally murdered. I'd say that's enough to give Vecna an in, especially because I sincerely doubt Max is going to die after they spent an entire episode saving her the first time, so the person Lucas is watching is probably Jason.
@@robbiesmith8055 yeah but acc to the theory Vecna only possess them who have some guilt otherwise i completely agree with u Jason is definitely in danger
I don’t think they would kill off Will because when Noah Schnapp was kinda spoiling it he said that some Byler and he was also talking about his haircut for the next part
theres a reason why will didnt have a important role in s3 and s4, there's no point in killing will when he had 2 seasons about him, and he has a connection in the upside down which hasn't been helpful in s3 or s4, they're saving it at s4 vol 2 or s5. off topic but i think kali would be in vol 2 or s5
@@itsjustfinny9575 By target I don’t mean victim but if by chance he does get possessed all he needs is a sleeping beauty kiss from Mike to ground him back into reality just kidding or am I we’ll see
my theory is that when Nancy is stuck in the trance, Eddie will start playing her favorite song on the guitar. and he knows what it is because when Robin was snooping around in Nancy’s room, she found some cassette tapes. and then Vecna gets mad that Eddie is doing that so he kills him. Eddie would die a hero, just like Bob and Hopper (so we thought in s3). it makes sense they would kill off Eddie. Although I really like him and I hope they don’t.
Just a little question, how the hell are we not talking about Enzo, the guy that saved Hop? He may have started off as a douche but he had good intentions, then grew to a more reasonable character and maybe even likable. He is the exact kind of person the Duffers love to kill, I think he's gonna have a more "get to the Choppa" death if they do kill him. Just a theory Ok this after volume 2, thank God I was wrong. I didn't want him to die. No offense to Eddie and Max ofc
@@yomamasman8921 Yeah, I’d say he was always pretty chill. I know he was doing it for money, but he didn’t HAVE to help Hop at all. He took a risk of becoming a traitor to help a stranger (and get money). He lost the gamble, and still wasn’t salty about it. He accepted that he gambled and lost and then he was ready to fight to get out. Dmitri’s a pretty cool guy to me lol.
In barb’s case I didn’t care about her but I found her death just brutal and sad due to the fact she was so young and was just forced into a world she was oblivious to. And then be eaten by a monster is just brutal.
I think Eddie and Steve are the most likely to die, with Mike and Max also potentially being on the chopping block. The only Characters that are 100% clear are El(they essentially can't continue show without her) and Hopper(They wouldn't bring him back only to just kill him again)
Times I cried during episode 9 SPOILER ALERT When max “dies” When Eddie dies When Dustin gives mr Munson Edie’s guitar pick necklace When el and hopper reunite
I think we're not giving enough credit to how Running up that Hill has been woven into the story. The song is all about switching places. My theory is Steve/Jonathan are on the line to save Nancy, as well as Mike and Lucas for El and Max. I can even see Will dying/ending up stuck in the UD to help save everyone and him becoming the big bad for season 5. Robin is lower on my list to die, but I can see it happening as while she's part of the main cast she isn't OG, but close enough to the OG to get the point across that no one is safe. Then you have the usuals Eddie, Enzo, and the pilot (i forget his name). I will be shocked if any of those three make it out alive.
Yes, for short *everyone is in danger* not only Max. I've also read a theory on twitter that Max might sacrifice herself as a bait to Vecna so that Nancy, Robin and Steve will burn his vines in the upside down and so that, Eleven could fight Vecna. However, I feel like they wouldn't win this time.
For sure will can become a big bad because Joyce called him a sensitive boy way back in season one and vecnas father called vecna sensitive as well. With how much the duffs like to foreshadow this can’t be just a coincidence
@@justranzmarie8737 with the 5th season being the last I also believe no one is safe, however I feel like there are some that are less safe than others and IMO it's too predictable to kill Max or Nancy off at this point so I'm throwing out some other options. And thanks for sharing his name.
I am pretty sure Max is safe, because if Vecna is a metaphor for depression, killing off Max would send a pretty bad message. So my vote is for Eddie or Murray, because I think they'll keep all the main characters for the final season. Murray would be a good option, because everybody is so focused on Eddie that killing Murray instead would be a big surprise that makes sense in hindsight. (The whole "I know Karate" thing might be good for beating an evil smuggler and some goons, but not good enough for taking on the monsters of the Upside Down.)
I think it’s going to be Eddie. The town already sees him as a killer, and I’m pretty sure that the secrets of the upside down and mysteries of the town won’t be explained to the whole town. If Eddie survives he’ll still be wanted.
It seems to expected and obvious that he's gonna die. If you asked any Stranger Things fan who they think's gonna die in vol.2 they'd most likely say Eddie Cause it would follow the pattern wich is kind of boring to keep following the same pattern. I wouldn't be surprised if Eddie dies I'll still be sad (because he's my favorite character) but not surprised. but I would be surprised and vary happy (Cause he's my favorite) if he survived wich would be way better than if he just died like everyone expects. And also (again he's my favorite character) so I just want to see more of him.
I agree. I also think Eddie might sacrifice himself as a way to redeem himself. And like you said he’ll be wanted if he lives so he might want to “go all out” to provide a better chance for everyone else. ALSOOO in episode one he was talking to Dustin and Mike and he said they were the future of the hell fire club so maybe that is foreshowing his death.
I think Eddie is in the same position as Robin was last season. I think he fits in too well with the gang and is too important to the show to get killed off, at least not this season. Edit: Shit
eddie has been setting himself on the way to death tbh him confessing to steve that hes a runner and why he was the last to jump in to watergate sets him up to sacrifice himself
The duffer brothers said that they regretted killing of Chrissy because Eddie and her had such good chemistry so they probably won't kill Eddie if they wanted to keep Chrissy Edit: okay maybe they kept Chrissy around so they could have more scenesfor a small bit
Yeah and the whole bringing in a likeable character only to kill them by the end of season is little predictable and played out now. I also think think the duffer brother know he is such a good character/actor that don't want to kill him off yet, much like Steve. As matter of a fact maybe they brought in Eddie to replace Steve?
@@james9592 that's what im thinking. Because Dustin said to steve are u jealous when he was hanging out with eddie. Not to mention eddie is already liked by tons of fans just in one season I don't think they will kill him off immediately
I'm so afraid it'll be Steve because I can see exactly how they'll do it. They've been strongly hinting that Steve and Nancy will get back together, but I think Steve will actually sacrifice himself to save her before anything can happen. It paves the way for Jonathan and Nancy to get back together without the drama and it lets Steve die a hero saving the first girl he loved. Plus, it'll be a big emotional death for her, Robin, and Dustin the way Hopper was for Eleven & Joyce. I really hope they don't because their viewership would go down, or that they at least do a fake death like with Eleven in S1/Hopper in S3.
I'll be incredibly disappointed and angry if they kill Max. With all the effort and care they put into her arc and themes of mental health/suicide, if they kill her now that means all that was pretty much pointless.
I'm afraid Mike is going to kick the bucket. He's the heart of the show while simultaneously doesn't have much of a huge role at the moment. It's like the perfect recipe for an emotional death while also giving a reason for the rest of the characters to become stronger. (It would also be an easy way to solve the love triangle)
Yeah but the Duffer Brothers said that when and if the do a spin off it would be with Mike sooooo... don't think Mike will die.. maybe he gets sent into the uD some how and has to fine his way back..but who knows..
Honestly, I've been thinking lately that Mike is actually one of the most likely to die. In the trailer, we see Will hugging Jonathan and crying, which most people think is his coming out scene. Honestly, I think this could be due to Mike's death during S4. Mike has the guilt of feeling like a bad boyfriend to Eleven (such as how he always said "From Mike".) Lucas's screaming scene could definitely be Mike, as in Season 1, Dustin said that Mike and Lucas were best friends. Also, imagine how much this would affect Eleven during S5. It's been a common fan theory that Eleven would be the final antagonist of the series, and if Mike were to die, I could see Eleven turning into the villain in S5. Even if the Duffer Bros don't go with the Eleven becoming a villain storyline, Mike's death would surely inspire her to take down the Mind Flayer once and for all in Season 5. I think Mike's death would be the most shocking in the series and definitely fits well with all of the information we have been given.
@@livvworm na, I think it's Max. He's supposed to turn Kate Bush on just in time to stop Vecna again but Jason shows up for a showdown and prevents him. 😭😭😭😭
Spoiler ahead! I actually didn't believe the theory that "the name starts with the letter b will die cause of the previous season like billy, bob, barbara etc" then dr brenner died.
Here's my prediction: Eddie (will finally stand up and sacrifice), Murray (will save Hopper and Joyce), Jonathan and Argyle (for me, Jonathan is the safest death of all the main character....and they will save Mike and Will somehow), I have a feeling Karen Wheeler will die (why is she the only parent with a poster?), Sam Owens, Dr. Brenner, Jason and Enzo. I think our main favorite character are safe for this season..... i hope
I firmly believe Nancy is going to die this season. My theory mostly revolves around the love triangle and the issues that brings up. I don’t think it would have been reintroduced without a purpose and I also believe that Steve has grown and doesn’t need Nancy anymore, it would be an unsatisfying conclusion to just end with them back together like at the beginning of the series. After realizing this, I basically just Analyzed which has the highest chance of going and, surprisingly, it wasn’t Steve for me. As a die-hard fan of Nancy’s it makes me really upset, but she is my best bet
i think eddie will die, because we know him and dustin are on the top of the trailer together, and there was a short clip with no sound of dustin screaming and crying, and it looked like he was yelling eddie!
I love that they realised it in 2 parts cause it lets the audience talk about the first 7 episodes and theorise for a bit. If u realise it all at once everyone will just binge it and be bored for the next month
in the trailer there’s also a shot of vecna putting his hand on mac head and it’s different than in episode 4, max doesn’t have nothing around her neck. i’m almost 90% sure she is dying
@@dd4850 yeah but at this point all the kids could be ready to move on, to me it has to do more with the storyline that we got till now and killing lucas wouldn’t hit as hard as killing max after getting so close to it the first time, but i guess will find out soon 🤷🏼♂️😅
@@s19aa294d I think Max nearly dying the first time is exactly why she's safe now. He survival is a metaphor for overcoming survivor's guilt. They're not gonna end her arc with her just succumbing to her depression instead after spending an *entire* episode trying to save her, it would just turn Dear Billy into a waste of time.
idk man, killing Max would be mad cheap for the writers. her dying would erase the significance of episode 4 and make her whole storyline this season pointless.
I think the main cast is safe this season. On the chopping block are Eddie, Murry, both Drs, and Dmitri. Also that shot of Lucas freaking out is when he's beating up Jason. so maybe Vecna gets ahold of Jason right in front of Lucas
I’m convinced it’ll be Nancy. She’s the character with the most concrete picture for the future, the one who’s parents and home we know the best. We spent a good deal of time reflecting on certain parts of her, like her music box and guns. Her arc is kind of complete from what I think. And it seems as though her mom is about to play a slightly bigger or more aware role in Vol 2. But most of all, I think the way they’re hinting at her and Steve is dangerous. Because I don’t actually see them getting back together. What’s the message then? Whoever Nancy has her latest adventure with she falls for? They’ll leave it on a maybe, and then Steve and Jonathan will always remain unsure what she was going to do. She’s been essential this season, they’d literally be nowhere without her. But they have characters ready to fill her role as the ‘detective’ of the group. I might just be assuming the worst because she’s one of my favorites. But the only characters I want to die less than her are Max and Steve. 😭
@@acidd4681 I been saying this is bassically stranger things endgame. Season 4 is gonna be like infinity war/empire strikes back. The hero’s loose. But it’ll make for an epic set up in season 5 like endgame
I feel like, Mike could possibly die, there is many reason, main one being, will and Jonathan are hugging and crying meaning that someone most likely died, they might have killed Argile, but I highly doubt it. Plus everyone of the gang seems upset, especially Nancy, Mike’s sister
I definitely agree, but I also think that what Eleven needs is someone close to her to die in order to kill Vecna. As stated in the video, Mike never wrote “i love you” back to El and it would be a perfect last choice of words for Mike. The death of Mike is what would fuel her to kill Vecna, and after that Hopper and Joyce reunite with everyone and Eleven finally sees that Hopper is alive, which would make for another very emotional scene. But I could be wrong 😑
I hardly see anyone taking about this but I think Enzo (Hoppers prison friend in Russia) has a really good chance of dying. Very similar character arch to Billy as both started off bad but then turned good.
The reason I think they are going to kill off Steve is because the fact that Steve and Nance seem to be having feelings again and she might be second guessing her choice to be with Jonathan now that he's gone, but killing off Steve will really set Nancy off. Eddie getting killed off seems to easy, but I do agree that he is going to fulfill his hero arch and sacrifice himself. Definitely feel like Max is gonna go this season too and maybe Lucas, someone had pointed out that Dustin is wearing Lucas' camo bandana in the upside down with Eddie and that seems very sentimental to me.
Max is for sure NOT going to die I think because they would have killed her already in that scene where she was floating. They showed her life flash before her eyes and everything that was the opportunity to kill her off but they didn’t.
Could also haveb been a reminder of all she's been through with these characters to remind/prepare us for taking her out. Especially if she dies trying to help distract vecna for El right in front of her. Think about it. The last flash back we see that helps her break free is a shot of her and El highfiving. Lucas could be screaming for max and so could that shot of El screaming. Just sayin
facts, she kinda carried the most emotional scene, and season four is showing more of her. so i dont think that they would kill her off just like that when she just went through a bunch of crap in S4 E4
I genuinely think it would be a bad move for the show to kill off steve out of any other character. I just think if steve died some people would go into season five with a missing piece and I think that would be the most with steve out of any character.
You definitely get the vibe that steve might die this season, but like you said, I feel like the writers would kill him off in a season that's more centered around him. They would need to build more of an emotional storyline around him in order for the death to hit a lot harder. I would be pretty mad if he dies this season because I feel like we still have a lot more to learn about him as a character. Kinda like with Billy, I would love to learn more about steve's backstory, his home life, etc...
Vecna is not done with Max. Max said her biggest worry is getting used to the song. She said that to Lucas when they were investigating Victor's house. Once it happens, she will be vulnerable to Vecna.
In one of the trailers you can see Max trying to escape somewhere but she's barricaded by wood, just like Chrissy was when vecna possessed her in episode 1. Then there's a shot where Lucas is looking up in horror that the ceiling of the creel house where he, Max, and Erica went. I really am scared for Max.
@@ralphdadon3026 Yeah, i think they're trying to mislead us with that. Jason will die in front of Lucas but they want us to think Max will. that's my theory
@@goneforever949 he has had some trouble in the past concerning religion my guess. He's real obsessed with the possession/ cult theory. I feel vecna is gonna take him out right after him and Lucas fight. That's just my opinion
I think they'll kill Robin, if not Steve. Ca's in the trailer, Robin mentioned "it might not work out for us this time" Also, IMO there is a slight chance that they'll kill Will.
When you brought up Billie being a villain and getting killed when he turned good, they might do the same with Jason. I doubt he will try and save Eddie, but he might end up getting killed by Vecna after trying to save someone.
I think you’re right bc in the trailer Lucas and him are fighting then the scene where Lucas looks horrified I think it’s bc he watches Jason get killed by Vecna so.. idk if he’s (Jason) gonna try to save someone or they’re in the fight and he gets cursed then gets killed 😀
we gotta stop redeeming dudes who are awful and commit crimes, assault and try to murder people, by having them sacrifice themselves. like billy was physically abusive and didn't become a good person after dying, same with jason. dude it absolutely crazy and twisted.
@@herb_rolls I think it’s a good step in regards to TV because it shows viewers that not everything is as black and white as “good vs bad”. It’s important to understand that there is always a reason for someone being the way that they are and if we’re going to try and fix these issues we need to open our hearts to compassion and understanding a bit more.
@@herb_rolls yes fr but I mean Jason did lose his girl but ever since the first episode I didn’t like Jason especially when he was saying “they didn’t die for this” or whatever he said talking about the people “”who died in the fire”” like hop and Billy anyways using theyre deaths as like a motivation which isn’t generally bad but how he put just made it like their deaths could only be honored by winning a basketball game idk maybe just me but it felt wrong and he’s just all around crazy seeming
Steve would break my heart, Dustin and Nancy plus Robin, even Eddie and the group as a whole would be devastated. I can imagine crying when Dusty Buns breaks down in agony at the site of Steve dying. Steve owes Nancy for saving his life plus he Loves her. He will risk it for the biscuit
Though it makes sense to me for them to kill Eddie as his story arch would be done really after this season. I actually have a different theory where each of the major groups loose someone. The Nina Project group will likely loose Brenner as he wasn’t really expected to be alive. The Russia group will loose Murray as his character has gotten way to useful and like able. The Hawkins group might loose Robin. Now hear me out she has made tight bonds with everyone the kids, Steve and now Nancy plus there’s the scene in the trailer where she has a bad feeling that they might not make it. Loosing Robin would be an unexpected major blow without loosing the OG core. This would also continue the tradition of killing people with B names except this time their using their last names Brenner, Baumen and Buckley. As for the California group that one is a bit tricky as they could lump it into the Nina group or they can “kill” one of the Byers (another B name) if it’s Johnathan it might bring out Will and Joyce’s darkest timeline as he was always looking out for them but no one was ever looking out for him. Or they make it so that Will dies or gets stuck in the upside down again and they are trying to get him back in the 5th and finale season. Ending season 4 with them all promising to find him and finally seeing what that painting he made was about.
I feel like they won’t kill Max because her scene in the upside down seemed to be about overcoming her own guilt and appreciating life. So to just kill her afterward would seem cheap and ruin such a wonderful scene. If I had to say someone would die in the main cast, it would probably be Mike.
I also had Mike dying in the end, I pictured it as before the final battle Mike finally tells El he loves her. Before El got captured they talked about her being a super hero, so I imagined Vecna hearing that conversation and telling El that heroes can’t save everyone, not even the ones they love and kills Mike to end the season. Then they fight again in the final season with El using the memory of Mike saying he loved her to beat Vecna the way the memory of her mom helped her beat him the first time.
Everyone thinks Max is going to die, but I think she is completely safe. They already made it seem like she was going to die, so I find it hard to believe that the Duffer's would do it again. I think it is much more likely for Lucas to die. He had my favorite arc other than Max, and really redeemed himself by caring about Max. I think he might be screaming because he himself is in danger. If it does happen, it would clearly catch a ton of people off guard. I also think Jason is definitively going to die. Edit: After more thought, I believe Max will be put in danger and Lucas will sacrifice himself to stop her death. I doesn't seem like Vecna would be able to use his insecurities against him, but if he was jumping in the way of an attack against Max.
The Duffers can't do that to Max's mother. I think if they kill Max after killing Billy then having her husband abandon her...? Shit. I mean, that character would kill herself. That's too much singular damage. I'm with you. Max is going to be fine. Eddie is definitely dead, though. I also think Mike might die because it's Vecna's way of getting to El, if he dies helping her it plays into her need for her to hear he loves her. And, it will really mess with Will. Also, it will hurt Nancy. Mike's death has the most bang for the buck in how much it will effect the characters.
Thats really true. And according to the new poster, I definitely have a feeling she might be carrying this season. If they were to kill her off, the wouldve already done it in S4E4
I think it would be smarter to kill one of the main characters. This is nearly the end of the show once Season 5 comes around and during those times, the kids have grown and the show got darker. It’s time that the Duffer Brothers remind us that not even the main casts have plot armor. Anyone could die. This would bring a lot more tension for the final season. Everyone would be at the edge of their seats because anything could happen.
I really don’t think Eddie’s making it out alive. Especially judging by that shot where he’s shredding his guitar in the Upside Down, I think that’s his big moment. Earlier in the season, he says that he’s not really a hero, and that he’s a coward who’d never risk his life for someone else. I think that scene from the trailer is gonna be his big hero moment, where he finally gains the courage to risk his own life to save someone else’s.
I think eddies fate will be worse then death. Hes based on a real world teenager from the 80s satanic panic and was accussed and sentenced to ritual sacrificing kids to Satan. However he always maintained his innocence and there was enough evidence he could have been found guilty. I think Eddie will be the town sacrifice he will be innocent but lose his life behind bars for something he didnt do.
Unfortunately, I don't think there is much hope for Eddie. I mean, imagine if he doesn't die. How is he going to convince all of Hawkins that he didn't actually kill anyone?
I feel like people have put forward many reasonable characters who would die but personally i don’t see people talking about Robin, Robin in my opinion is one that is highly likely to die
So for me, I feel like the 3 that I'm most concerned for are Steve, Eddie, and Lucas. Steve is a given for most people. He's had the best character arc in the entire series and it would be tragic to kill off a huge fan favorite character. Eddie has a big death flag as well. He's definitely had a few moments showing how he regrets his cowardice. So for me Steve and/or Eddie would die a heroes death. Last is Lucas. I feel like Max isn't going to die but Vecna will target her again. I could see Lucas sacrificing himself for her. Practically trading places with Max like the lyrics to the viral song Running Up That Hill. Plus the actors who play Lucas and Dustin were discussing a scene where lucas had to put on contacts. We have not seen this scene this season yet. So that's got me concerned for him. We'll just have to wait and see.
Lucas won't die. If he dies, that's another trauma for max and I don't think she can take anything anymore. She's already depressed due to Billy's death and I don't think duffer brothers will make her suffer again.
@@Nandiariess I was thinking the same thing. But the only thing I have to argue this is the statement of the actors about wearing contact lenses for some reason. Not exactly sure what it meant but I guess we'll have to find out.
The “Lucas freaking out scene” might be due to Jason becoming a victim of Vecna and killing him right in front of him. There is a clip where Jason and Lucas was having a good old fist fight on the same environment and lighting as the Lucas scene. I could be totally wrong, but I just want Jason and Angela be killed by Vecna lolol
I think when nancy is cursed the others will help her but eddie gets scared, remembering chrissy and doesn't want to go through it again and runs, when he could of helped. it fully solidifies his whole running away thing and would give him a better heroes arc when he comes back to help realising he screwed up and becomes a key part in standing up to fight the demobsts allowing them to get to vecna. he will probably die in the process saying his last words to Dustin, while dying he would fight them off giving Dustin time to escape. that to me makes the most sense for a strong death
I think Mike is safe I know alot of people have been saying he's been absent from the trailer but I really feel like that's just because maybe his scenes are just to important to show in the trailers which could mean he does get it but I feel like it's because it'd be spoilers if they showed scenes with him in it. And Mike is estentially the main guy I know hasn't been as much this season but with El and his relationship idk I don't feel like they can just get rid of him. Vecna may come for him tho because of his an Els fight so he's got guilt from that idk all I know is a I AM PUMPED haha been a long month wait and 4 days can't come soon enough!
Now that I think about it, Susie feels a lot of guilt when she does the smallest things (ex: Dustin’s report card) doesn’t it feel kinda weird that this is shown intentionally in the same season where people who have trauma or guilt in their past get killed. I’m just saying, there is a small amount of evidence. (I seriously doubt she would actually die, but I think the whole guilt thing is a cool little reference to the events going on in the show)
Imagine 11 making a sacrifice while mikes there watching and she says "goodbye mike" and destroys the upside down and herself Edit: did anyone realise that in hoppers letter he say " and for your dear old dad kepp the door open 3 inches" and in the first scene you see el in s4 she has her door open 3 inches.
For me the two most likely to die are Eddie and Murray, For Eddie he particularly says repeatedly throughout volume 1 “I’m a coward” or “I run away at the sight of danger” or something along those lines. Then in the trailer you can see him playing the guitar in the upside down surrounded by demo-bats. I was analysing this and there is no real way he could get out of that situation. When the others tell him not to he goes “I have nothing else to live fool or so,etching like that, after the death of Chrissy whom he no doubtedly liked, and the fact he lives with his drugged up uncle. Now Murray is very random I know, but now that hopper and him are reunited but still actually have to escape the reassign prison and so they might to a very sad montage of both Eddie and Murray sacrificing themselves for the others. A bit like Billy and Hoppers montage. Ik this was long sorry ahahah 😭
At the end of the Volume 2 trailer, you can hear Lucas or Dustin (most likely Lucas) yelling Erica’s name and there’s blue lighting when Lucas looks scared and Erica was holding a blue lamp in another pic. Hopefully it’s not her tho :( could be Jason
They may as well kill Jonathan since they already killed his character 🥲. If Nancy dies I wanna see Jonathan become a BADASS in season 5. A teamup with him and Steve would be cool
SPOIERS!!!!!!! DO NOT CONTINUE IF YOU HAVE NOT SEEN VOL 2!!!! Nancy: No, she lived. Max: Well, yes, but actually no. Erica: Got almost no screen time. Eddie: Honestly if you didn't see it coming you're either not paying attention or in denial. Steve: He had some close calls, but he's good. Mike: Didn't get enough character development to die.
Volume 2 Theory: After One was banished to the upside down, the transformation (although granted a lot of control of Upside Down) stripped a lot of his original abilities away. In the trailer we see Hopper and that looking at a large container of mist (similar to the Mind Flayer’s spirit form) I believe Vecna is using this mist as a hotspot to transmit his powers from and kill people. His goal is when he kills them (as suggested when One told Eleven his final goal when he points to his hand and say they are just stored in his mind) he learns how to navigate the mind again, allowing him to kill more quicker and more efficient. I predict in Volume 2 Vecna snags another kill (the victim I wouldn’t guess) and achieves full control able to instead manipulate his foes simply twitch his hand and kill them, I think this could be strong theory, however the only hole I see in it is the fact is why Hawkins? Why not the Russians? Or anywhere closer. That’s the only issue, but maybe there is a reason? A younger adult (teenager) could have a lesser mind that still grants him his rewards without as much effort?
I think you forgot about Dimitri being the new character that could die. I think one person from each crew will die. Dimitri from the Russia crew, Max from the Hawkins crew, and it’s honestly a toss up between Mike and Will in the California crew. I do think if Mike dies it would hit harder, but we also already seen him nearly sacrifice himself for a friend in Season 1. With Will it honestly just comes to how Noah Schnapp has been in interviews since Vol 1 came out. Just his body language kinda gives me a feeling he’s going to die. I do also think that Eleven will have a similar situation like she did in Season 1 where she was basically stuck in the upside down at the end, but instead of being stuck in the upside down, she’s stuck inside Vecna’s mind control. The reason I say that is because the upside down has a blueish color tone while when Max was getting tortured by Vecna, it was a red/orangish color tone. The shot of Eleven screaming and holding her hand out in the trailer shows her in that redish area, so she’s probably having her mind controlled by Vecna at that moment. She might defeat him there, but she might get stuck. The only way she might be able to escape is if someone plays the song that Hopper played for her when he took her into live with him in Season 2.
11:49 instead of Max dying and one of the people she gave letters to (Dustin, Lucas, Steve) reading what she wrote to them; maybe one of *those three* is going to die, having never read Max’s letter and she’s overcome with grief and is distraught because they never read about how much them meant to her
Eleven MIGHT die, because there's no way that they will let Eleven live past Season Five; just no way. I rarely hear people saying Eleven is safe and all, but that's not entirely true. I'm pretty sure that Dr. Brenner said that Eleven's powers weren't enough, so Eleven might die.
@@tasnimibrahim4017 I mean I'm pretty sure she's not gonna die after how much time we've spent watching her get her powers back, but honestly El being gone (or just never having regained her powers) would make the show more interesting. It would force the characters to come up with unique ways to defeat the villain instead of just stepping aside and letting El do all the heavy lifting like always.
am I the only one who thinks Jonathan is the one that's going to die? Hear me out, he is a main character but not as beloved as Steve, his character arch has been horrible, and the show is hinting us a possible steve-nancy come back, and for that to happen Jonathan could sacrifice himself to save nancy or something and have a great final arch for his character.
I’ve seen the theory going around That at the beginning of the season when the hellfire club played the D&D game at the beginning it landed on the 11 and Vecna won the first match meaning 11’s not gonna be enough to save her friends, they’re going to need some more help, which might be that won survivor kid who was the bully to 11, If they find out where he is they Might have a chance of winning this in season five
I think Robin has a good chance of dying. She did some foreshadowing in the trailer about not feeling good about making it out this time PLUS she and Nancy are becoming friends this season.... Do I sense a Barb 2.0 where Nancy and Steve reconnect and poor Robin pays the consequences? That would wreck both Nancy and Steve! Especially since Vecna has been using the guilt about Barb to affect Nancy. So I believe Robin is definitely on the chopping block!
And don't forget the actress Maya Hawke said she wants Robin to die. And we all know she gets what she wants cause in S3 when they had an interview an interviewer asked Joe how he wants Steve to die if he had to choose and Maya Hawke answers with "Sea Diver" and guess what happened in S4 and how Steve almost died lol It's that nepotism factor bro
I'm 90% sure that Jason is gonna die because he was fighting Lucas in the attic of the creel house and he still had his school uniform on, and a few scenes later we get to see someone with yellow socks on about to die from Vecna nad the only person I saw in the trailer wearing yellow was jason.
Here is my idea: Steve goes to sacrifice himself to save the group but Eddie pulls a "Not so fast." and finally has his stand and be the hero moment, rocking out with his guitar to weaken/distract Vecna, thus leading to Eddie's death. I saw another comment about everyone in the RV looking sad and how that is proof that Steve lives, I think that is the opposite. Them in the RV is the group on their way (Red Dawn style) to get into the Upside Down for the big final throw down. I'm thinking we will see the group drop off Max, Lucas and Erica (all three are in the RV from the trailer) at the Creel house and then they will head back to the trailer park to enter the upside down (Steve jumping down/up the sheet rope that Dustin tied together also in the trailer). I am also thinking Will is going to get snatched somehow. I'm trying to figure out how this will playout. Jonathan, Will, Mike and Argyle take Eleven to Hawkins after she gets her powers back? And then Will is snatched by Vecna? Or Will winds up stuck in the upside down again at the end of the season? Last point (and the most random) I am very much of the opinion that the show is setting up The Beholder as the final big bad. If you've played D&D you know it's a giant, flying eyeball monster. And what has Vecna been poking out of his victim's heads as the final death blow? Yep. Empty eye sockets y'all. Beholder confirmed! lol But seriously, I love reading all the comments, theories and worries concerning this show. I am so ready for one hell of a finish on Friday.
It makes me so sad to say… but I think we better say bye to Eddie.. I mean, like you said, everyone they’ve killed off-Barb, Bob, and Billy- we loved them, and they didn’t get much screen time. I loved Eddie’s character the second we heard him talking about D&D killing kids, and I’m sure we all did. I think we might want to make sure to say goodbye to him before we miss saying goodbye with Alexei.. may his soul rest in piece, and let’s pray he has as many cherry slurpees as he can drink wherever he’s gone to. Sorry I’m rambling, but I definitely think it’ll be Eddie.. it just makes sense… Unless the duffer brothers know that Eddie makes sense.. so they choose someone that doesn’t make sense to kill off.. I don’t know anymore!
I wouldn’t put billy because he wasn’t fan favorite until he died The only reason people liked him was because he looked hot or thy liked his attitude I would put alexei instead
Lucus, Max, Mike, Eddie, Steve, and Joice are my main death concerns. Mike is the center who was the leader of the original group. Losing him hurts every single character so if you need stakes to matter, he needs to go. Next either Max or Lucus needs to go. Lucus swerves the Max hints and hurts his family especially his sister who loves him but tries to bother him and just wants to be close but her attitude and pride won't let her. They never have any moments as brother sister caring for each other when Nancy is every season caring for Mike and giving advice. Erica is literally been his replacement almost like a foreshadowing of the next season group. Mike hasn't been a leader much since season 2. Eddie has come in and been a mentor jealous of Steve as Billy was in season 2. With so many older leads now with Robin and Argyle filling out the comic relief, Some characters roles have shifted. Dustin is the figure it out type as Nancy is the replacing Will in puzzle solving. She is also the investigator with Lucus adding muscle rather than tactical support. Slingshot, fireworks, not hand to had with the captain of the basketball team is a shift in his character from strategic force to heavy. Joice has found Hopper but left her family vulnerable and oblivious as she is when they go on their adventures. Usually a parent being reckless hints at a loss coming. The boys both are crying together so I'm thinking either Will lost Mike or both lost Joice because him coming out is big but they look to be continuing the conversation about what Vecna takes from them. If I were to guess, Mike, Lucus, and Steve die to impact most of the characters and the final fight is after the loss to avenge them. 11 then could leave to find her siblings (numbers who escaped by 1) to unite because Vecna will probably warn her that the Mind Flayer will come in a few more years when ready to fully invade. Part of him always liked her so if he dies he might give her info to help. This season is all about our relationships and holding on to them or reconnection. Maybe Henry Creel will return to do something for her once she proves how he saw people was wrong. He had a sister but 11 has been the first real sister he's had and the was a genuine connection prior to his massacre. The loss of Mike and Lucus might actually advance Will to have more character development and make Dustin the caretaker they need once they age up. Surprise picks would be Hopper, (so Joice returns and doesn't tell them anything as if he was still dead) Dustin, (the one who believes the most in Eddie and Steve, crushed on Nancy, pulled Lucus and Mike back together, cares for Max even though she picked Lucus over him, pushed Steve to notice Robin, understood Will as the best at puzzles and art, would crush his protective mother) Mr. Wheeler, (a scene in the trailer shows the Mother and daughter at home as chaos hits the town but no Mr. Wheeler in sight) and Nancy (focused on a lot in every season, got to know Robin, still cares for Steve, Johnathan never gets to say goodbye, Wheeler family loses two if you count dad as well).
I feel like Eddie's gonna almost d!3 (you can hear Dustin yelling his name in the new volume 2 trailer like he's in danger) but then Steve comes in at the last second to save him, sacrificing himself.
The one floating barefoot is definitely El. I don't know what is happening to her but with all the bts pictures it seems like El is in Max's memory like she was in Billy's last season. So we can hope that Max will come out of the trance because Vecna will attack her again for sure. But there's the letters which worries me. Also now El knows that she didn't kill those in the lab but she did free 001 to do so. This might the biggest guilt of her with all the other endless guilt and trauma she has. And we saw how anger overpowered her when she hit Angela. 001 wanted her to use anger... that's his power. So what if he curses her and she is not able to fight it. What if she thinks she deserves it because she already thinks she's monster.
They wont kill Max neither Eddie. Its Mike guys…his role is not important this season anyways. It will be one of the most shocking deaths in tv series history His death will also be a reason to make Eleven even stronger and make her destroy Upside Down once and for all.
Eddie is definitely a goner, but as for the main cast I could see Nancy or Joyce. I think Nancy is more likely bc of the guilt she carries for Barb, and her death would super-motivate Johnathan, Steve, and Mike in season 5. It could also be something that Karen would witness and want to get involved in Upside Down Revenge stuff. Joyce would have a similar effect (motivating Hopper, El, Will and Johnathan) and would explain Will and Johnathan embracing/sobbing. But I don't know if she has the same kind of guilt that Vecna could feed off of.
Ngl I'm terrified it's going to be Joyce, because no-one's expecting her to go, but she will still invoke the reaction the Duffer Brother's want, and they are going to be killing off quite a few, but then it doesn't seem right because so much work has gone into her's and Hopper's relationship. Please someone provide the consolation I need that it's not gonna be Joyce😂
Omg if it is Joyce I will be so upset. They’ve been building up her and hopper’s relationship since the beginning of the show, so to throw it out after all of that would feel wasteful. And I can’t imagine season 5 without her. I think Murray is the more likely target out of the group in Russia
I feel like it would be kinda pointless for Max to escape Vecna’s trance, only to go back into it and not make it out this time. The duffer brothers could just be trying to trick us, though. You never know with them. But I’m super worried for Steve, as he is my favorite character and I cant imagine the show without his funny lines and mother-like actions.
i think its gonna be dustin cuz i feel like netflix tends to have the fun and innocent person die at the end, but not too young like a toddler, but dustins age.

@@reinstars2836 that's what I was thinking lol
We can’t forget about Will dying though. He is a perfect target for Vecna with all of the past trauma he has experienced throughout the past 3 seasons. There is also that picture that Noah Schnapp posted on social media with him in the same harness that Sadie Sink had when they were filming the Dear Billie episode.
I agree I just hope it doesn’t happen yet if at all. They spent two seasons trying to save him and it would seem like it was all for nothing if he died now. If he sacrificed himself at the end of the series it would make more sense to me. Just my opinion though
Me too I have been really worried about will and he doesn’t even have a huge part this season so I think the duffer brothers just kinda left him out because they are just gonna kill him in volume 2
noah said on jimmy fallon that the duffer brothers told him to get ready for the bowl cut again so i’m just guessing he survives the season
Well Will is in California where there is no vecna
@@alkoholic3216 but will is 100% going back to hawkins
Killing off Mike would be such a character development push for Nancy, El and the og friend group. He always felt like the leader before they broke up a bit in season 3. It would be an interesting direction for the show. Nancy regretting even more relationships she failed on, El losing someone again, Dustin/Lukas/Will….. I can’t even explain
Great theory!
Mike is one of the mcs I 100% doubt it
@@2reelmisfitz well, its debatable. they obviously dont hold back for people like max, a beloved character, so it really might be possible no matter how upsetting it may be.
So she doesn't have development, it's actually backwards considering she told Mike to promise they tell each other everything and for the things I listed before she backtracks and doesn't do them so it's hypocritical
And spoilers for S5 knowing what happens but the fact that what happens happened for those of us who know about what goes in in S5, Nancy is definitely not a good sister at all. Not even a good girlfriend either, completely unloyal to her lover. And the fact that what's going to happen to Jonathan in S5 happens too, Nancy is just 🤦 She really is the Gale Weathers of ST
Nancy is the worst sister in ST history and the opposite of Jonathan.
In the trailer, you could see Lucas looking up in horror and probably looking at Jason because of how close they were when they were friends.
but he doesnt have a guilt maybe after he will get to know that Eddie was innocent then he will realize his mistake and then Vecna can target him
yeah i agree. even if it was a random person getting vecna’d most people would be screaming like lucas.
@@Iguro3785 Loads of people also argue it's unresolved trauma, and guilt checks out with that since it often stems from unresolved trauma
Will’s trauma, insecurity, and connection to the upside down makes him the perfect target for Vecna.
@@balls6724 I really hope 008 isn’t in s4 vol 2 or in s5. She and her gang are boring characters and I have no idea how they tie into the storyline.

my theory is that when Nancy is stuck in the trance, Eddie will start playing her favorite song on the guitar. and he knows what it is because when Robin was snooping around in Nancy’s room, she found some cassette tapes. and then Vecna gets mad that Eddie is doing that so he kills him. Eddie would die a hero, just like Bob and Hopper (so we thought in s3). it makes sense they would kill off Eddie. Although I really like him and I hope they don’t.
I hope Steve sings to her I would cry
i would just say this is wrong i already finished watching vol 2

this was my theory until i watched it. i like what they did better, but i think this was a cool idea too
Just a little question, how the hell are we not talking about Enzo, the guy that saved Hop? He may have started off as a douche but he had good intentions, then grew to a more reasonable character and maybe even likable. He is the exact kind of person the Duffers love to kill, I think he's gonna have a more "get to the Choppa" death if they do kill him. Just a theory
Ok this after volume 2, thank God I was wrong. I didn't want him to die. No offense to Eddie and Max ofc
He wasn’t really a douche though, he was doing his job and even then he wasn’t douchey.

I think Eddie and Steve are the most likely to die, with Mike and Max also potentially being on the chopping block. The only Characters that are 100% clear are El(they essentially can't continue show without her) and Hopper(They wouldn't bring him back only to just kill him again)
Remember Glenn from TWD? I wouldn't say Hopper is too safe tbh
Steve is not going to die
Nah mike is pretty safe Id say. Max definitely will encounter vecna again and who knows the outcome this time.
will is more likely to die than mike, but i agree i think it might be out of max, eddie and steve. it could also be murray, possibly.
@@sidekickjim9238 nah hopper is definitely safe this season.
Times I cried during episode 9
SPOILER ALERT
When max “dies”
When Eddie dies
When Dustin gives mr Munson Edie’s guitar pick necklace
When el and hopper reunite
It's Yuri btw.
Yes, for short *everyone is in danger* not only Max. I've also read a theory on twitter that Max might sacrifice herself as a bait to Vecna so that Nancy, Robin and Steve will burn his vines in the upside down and so that, Eleven could fight Vecna. However, I feel like they wouldn't win this time.
i completely agree even tho im convincing myself robin wont die since shes our favourite gay queen
DRAWING STRANGER THINGS CHARACTERS... | IT'S HERE ON THE CHANNEL !!!!!!!
if they kill Murray I will have an emotional breakdown
NO NOT EDDIE
I feel like Nancy will die, idk why
I only agree with the max part
I think it’s going to be Eddie. The town already sees him as a killer, and I’m pretty sure that the secrets of the upside down and mysteries of the town won’t be explained to the whole town. If Eddie survives he’ll still be wanted.
But he would die with everybody thinking he's a killer wich would not be fair to the character.
The actor already let slip he’s in season 5 so I don’t think he will die xx
DRAWING STRANGER THINGS CHARACTERS... | IT'S HERE ON THE CHANNEL !!!!!!!
I think Eddie is in the same position as Robin was last season. I think he fits in too well with the gang and is too important to the show to get killed off, at least not this season.
Edit: Shit
Yeah also the whole bringing in a likeable character just to kill them off thing is played out at this point
eddie has been setting himself on the way to death tbh him confessing to steve that hes a runner and why he was the last to jump in to watergate sets him up to sacrifice himself
Take my word he's gonna die.
Yeah
EXACTLY THIS IS SO CORRECT
The duffer brothers said that they regretted killing of Chrissy because Eddie and her had such good chemistry so they probably won't kill Eddie if they wanted to keep Chrissy
Edit: okay maybe they kept Chrissy around so they could have more scenesfor a small bit
That relieves me someone who is very similar to me will survive, but I’m worried for my man Steve, Dustin crying could mean something
Yeah and the whole bringing in a likeable character only to kill them by the end of season is little predictable and played out now. It paves the way for Jonathan and Nancy to get back together without the drama and it lets Steve die a hero saving the first girl he loved. Plus, it'll be a big emotional death for her, Robin, and Dustin the way Hopper was for Eleven & Joyce. @@seanking1775 eleven and mike practically broke up 😭 and will very obviously has a crush on mike
“THE HEART” DAYUM YOURE A PSYCHIC. 😭

I think our main favorite character are safe for this season..... i hope
You’re right about Eddie 🥺
I firmly believe Nancy is going to die this season. My theory mostly revolves around the love triangle and the issues that brings up. I don’t think it would have been reintroduced without a purpose and I also believe that Steve has grown and doesn’t need Nancy anymore, it would be an unsatisfying conclusion to just end with them back together like at the beginning of the series. After realizing this, I basically just Analyzed which has the highest chance of going and, surprisingly, it wasn’t Steve for me. As a die-hard fan of Nancy’s it makes me really upset, but she is my best bet
The way things are going this season, I think Jonathan is going to go, and Nancy and Steve will rekindle their relationship. Or Will might go.
Nah at least nancy is not dying by vecnas curse.
Honestly I think that any of the older kids are fair game
i think eddie will die, because we know him and dustin are on the top of the trailer together, and there was a short clip with no sound of dustin screaming and crying, and it looked like he was yelling eddie!

Weekly episodes woulda been better
in the trailer there’s also a shot of vecna putting his hand on mac head and it’s different than in episode 4, max doesn’t have nothing around her neck. i’m almost 90% sure she is dying
Yea I saw that but you never know
Don’t think so if anyone will die it’s Lucas bc he’s the oldes irl and probably ready to move on
@@dd4850 yeah but at this point all the kids could be ready to move on, to me it has to do more with the storyline that we got till now and killing lucas wouldn’t hit as hard as killing max after getting so close to it the first time, but i guess will find out soon 🤷🏼♂️😅
Everyone will lose, Vecna will get away. Season 5 will be about taking down Vecna once and for all.
Like Infinity War?

The mind flayer:baby I'm not even here I'm a hallucination
@@acidd4681 I been saying this is bassically stranger things endgame. Season 4 is gonna be like infinity war/empire strikes back. The hero’s loose. But it’ll make for an epic set up in season 5 like endgame
I feel like, Mike could possibly die, there is many reason, main one being, will and Jonathan are hugging and crying meaning that someone most likely died, they might have killed Argile, but I highly doubt it. Plus everyone of the gang seems upset, especially Nancy, Mike’s sister
Or Will just came out to Jonathan

That's obviously but he's a b character that's why no one is talking about it I could definitely see Murray dying as well no one is talking about that
He was never bad, he was very likeable imo, just blunt
DRAWING STRANGER THINGS CHARACTERS... | IT'S HERE ON THE CHANNEL !!!!!!!
they’re not in russia!!!
i totally agree
The reason I think they are going to kill off Steve is because the fact that Steve and Nance seem to be having feelings again and she might be second guessing her choice to be with Jonathan now that he's gone, but killing off Steve will really set Nancy off. Eddie getting killed off seems to easy, but I do agree that he is going to fulfill his hero arch and sacrifice himself. Definitely feel like Max is gonna go this season too and maybe Lucas, someone had pointed out that Dustin is wearing Lucas' camo bandana in the upside down with Eddie and that seems very sentimental to me.
Who’s watching this after Eddie’s dead
Me
Max is for sure NOT going to die I think because they would have killed her already in that scene where she was floating.
Just sayin
It probably was just a scare. Which will probably leave an opening to kill off max.
facts, she kinda carried the most emotional scene, and season four is showing more of her. so i dont think that they would kill her off just like that when she just went through a bunch of crap in S4 E4
I’m other words. If they were going to kill her they would have done it already.
Yea but I feel like max is definitely gonna encounter vecna again and she might get saved the same way or by el who also invades maxs mind.
I genuinely think it would be a bad move for the show to kill off steve out of any other character. I just think if steve died some people would go into season five with a missing piece and I think that would be the most with steve out of any character.
If Steve were to be killed it should be in season 5 the last season

You definitely get the vibe that steve might die this season, but like you said, I feel like the writers would kill him off in a season that's more centered around him. They would need to build more of an emotional storyline around him in order for the death to hit a lot harder. I would be pretty mad if he dies this season because I feel like we still have a lot more to learn about him as a character. Kinda like with Billy, I would love to learn more about steve's backstory, his home life, etc...

Also, IMO there is a slight chance that they'll kill Will.
I watched part 2 last night……- my brain has stoped braining since then
When you brought up Billie being a villain and getting killed when he turned good, they might do the same with Jason.

DRAWING STRANGER THINGS CHARACTERS... | IT'S HERE ON THE CHANNEL !!!!!!!
Eddie had the most emotional death so far
Idk about that
Michael jae : max or Eddie one of those two. The duffer brothers: how about both
@Gunner Brightwell not entirely alive either though
I feel like they won’t kill Max because her scene in the upside down seemed to be about overcoming her own guilt and appreciating life. So to just kill her afterward would seem cheap and ruin such a wonderful scene. If I had to say someone would die in the main cast, it would probably be Mike.
DRAWING STRANGER THINGS CHARACTERS... | IT'S HERE ON THE CHANNEL !!!!!!
Ngl I think mike is prob gonna die
DRAWING STRANGER THINGS CHARACTERS... | IT'S HERE ON THE CHANNEL !!!!!!

Same way I feel about Steve and Hopper, why tease their deaths if they're gonna kill them later
I am suprised that the duffer brothers didn’t make a scene of everyone reading the letters of max after her dying
I've never been so genuinely heartbroken by a character's death more than Bob's. Give him back😭😭
Killing Max takes away how great episode 4 was she literally went through everything and escaped death then killing her later would just be stupid.
DRAWING STRANGER THINGS CHARACTERS... | IT'S HERE ON THE CHANNEL !!!!!!
Dustin's with him though, and it would be to played out and predictable tbh.

It will be very sad if they kill Eddie off or even Steve and if they actually kill them off I will stop watching stranger things LoL
Yeah lol
You say that but you guys will still finish the series out haha
I think they will kill off Eddie
Welp rip
Rip Eddie 😭😭

At least Dustin is safe (....right?)

I think it's probably jason finding Lucas and is going to (possibly try to kill him) or just beat him up and then shows up and kills him
Angela deserves it more!

yes Angela
I think when nancy is cursed the others will help her but eddie gets scared, remembering chrissy and doesn't want to go through it again and runs, when he could of helped. it fully solidifies his whole running away thing and would give him a better heroes arc when he comes back to help realising he screwed up and becomes a key part in standing up to fight the demobsts allowing them to get to vecna. he will probably die in the process saying his last words to Dustin, while dying he would fight them off giving Dustin time to escape. that to me makes the most sense for a strong death
your prediction is very accurate on what happened on the last season (except for mike)

Edit: did anyone realise that in hoppers letter he say " and for your dear old dad kepp the door open 3 inches" and in the first scene you see el in s4 she has her door open 3 inches.
For me the two most likely to die are Eddie and Murray,
For Eddie he particularly says repeatedly throughout volume 1 “I’m a coward” or “I run away at the sight of danger” or something along those lines.

And we all know she gets what she wants cause in S3 when they had an interview an interviewer asked Joe how he wants Steve to die if he had to choose and Maya Hawke answers with "Sea Diver" and guess what happened in S4 and how Steve almost died lol

Poor Eddie. He didn’t have to go out like that. And max?? Man that shit got me
Here is my idea: Steve goes to sacrifice himself to save the group but Eddie pulls a "Not so fast." and finally has his stand and be the hero moment, rocking out with his guitar to weaken/distract Vecna, thus leading to Eddie's death.
Beholder confirmed! lol
But seriously, I love reading all the comments, theories and worries concerning this show.
I wouldn’t put billy because he wasn’t fan favorite until he died
The only reason people liked him was because he looked hot or thy liked his attitude
I would put alexei instead
@@SONTHFC_EDITX7 that is true, I don’t know, I just kind of liked the idea of Eddy saying “It’s time for me to stop running.”
It's *EDDIE
@@prnst4r sorry, that’s just how it’s spelt where I’m from, it’s a habit, but I fixed it, happy now?

9:57 wow.
bro you got nearly everything right
Lucus, Max, Mike, Eddie, Steve, and Joice are my main death concerns.
Literally my eyes are tearing up at this video??? This show has got me in the heartstrings
I feel like Eddie's gonna almost d!3 (you can hear Dustin yelling his name in the new volume 2 trailer like he's in danger) but then Steve comes in at the last second to save him, sacrificing himself.
No 😢
omfg please no
Nah, Steve wouldn’t die this season.
I think it is Eddie because if he doesn't die, everyone will still think he is a murderer who made a deal with Satan.

My favorite scene is by far max escaping vecna

Just imagine Them all fighting over what they think Nancy's Favorite song is And they figure out its never ending story And Dustin sings it to her 😂
They wont kill Max neither Eddie. Its Mike guys…his role is not important this season anyways. It will be one of the most shocking deaths in tv series history
His death will also be a reason to make Eleven even stronger and make her destroy Upside Down once and for all.

Maybe the guilt from Bob's death would make her a target
@@MrFusion That's a great point!!
Anyone else watching this after finally
