Lucas was honestly one of the best character this season imo. His story made total sense to me and christ, Caleb's acting at the finale was completely incredible.
I love that they finally used Sadie to the best of her ability in this season. She gave such a captivating performance, and I won't be surprised if she eventually becomes an Emmy or Oscar winner!
idk why people are over exaggerating it. she was good, but not emmy level. people are overhyping her running up that hill scene when a large part of it was the intensity of the situation and the music.
Argyle actually had some big moments like when he picked the boys up when the agents got shot and even using the pen to help mike realize why the agent gave them the pen
Johnathan’s total character change during season 4 was CRIMINAL. I hope he has a redemption or the writers remind the audience just how great Johnathan really is; just like he was in the first two seasons of Stranger Things. He was part of what sold the show to so many people (along with Joyce) in the first season, so i’m hoping he makes it into the spotlight for season five.

Steve has one the best character arcs ever in my opinion, to see him go from the popular jerk character to the lovable and brave dork who will always put the kids safety first has been amazing. The only thing I didn’t like about S4 was this stupid love triangle with Nancy coming back. Steve said he was fully over Nancy in S3 and they barely interacted so to see her eyeing him up again and Steve saying he still loves her just felt like such a backwards moment for both of them. Apparently the Duffers do pay attention to audience’s reactions and since I’ve seen a lot of fellow hate for this awful love triangle hopefully they’ll drop it in S5. I want to know more about Will’s connection to the UD, why he was taken in the first place and if he has powers of his own. I don’t want it to randomly keep jumping back to Nancy with the cliche ‘who will she pick?’ trope. Nancy’s love life is NOT that interesting and shouldn’t be that important, just keep her with Jonathan and leave it at that.
I couldn’t agree more. Steve and Dustin are my favorite characters on the show. S1 I thought Steve was a complete douche which he was lol but now I can’t see the show without him. But we could definitely do without the love triangle🙄
So the Mindflayer is Vecna and vice versa. That shocked the hell out of me since the puppet is really his superior form. Also back in season 2, the demo dogs knew the ENTIRE LAB since Henry worked as Peter which is crazy. Lastly when 001 used his powers, you hear the Eldritch psychic energy he uses as the Mindflayer as well since he basically used it in the Creel house. Best series I’ve seen. Edit: Also I think the clouds aren’t sentient but I believe it is the reason why the boulders in the Veil of Shadows are able to float. When Henry shaped and became the Mindflayer, he had full control to flay every being in the Upside Down.
Tbh I feel like will was done dirty this season and I don’t know if it’s just me but I think the vecna/01/Henry reveal should have been done in the next season

Max is my favorite and has been since the first 5 minutes she appeared in Season 2. I now pride myself on being an og Max lover and not a person that just started to love her after season 4

A monster from another dimension attacking people through their minds to create portals to the real world is pretty hard to believe

In my opinion I really do feel like Max should have gone along with Mike to see El in California,not only because it would make so much sense because it’s where she grew up but also because it would be really interesting to see (if it were to have happened) Max interact with Sam (her father) and some sort of heart-to-heart between the two- But at the same time season 4 never would have been as good if Max wasn’t with Lucas,Steve,Dustin,and the others,because then she would never have had the by far best scene in ALL of Stranger Things. If you think about it. Jason was broken about Chrissy’s death. Wanted to punish the person responsible for it. He wanted to help Max he tried. No one in Hawkins knows what’s actually going on except our main characters so Jason isn’t the worst. Angela….. She can rot in hell.

First of all did he even try ( as a boyfriend ) to find out what was wrong with his girlfriend Bc clearly Chrissy was going through a hard time at the start of the season. Yea but they also gave him a lot of character development this season which I enjoyed. Personally I did find it frustrating how badly he treated el and will but I can’t really hate him because the reason he’s treating them so horribly is due to his personal struggles and inability to properly express his feelings in a positive manner. I hope that in season 5 he gets his sh1t worked out and either fixes his relationship with el and starts treating her like a boyfriend should or just simply breaks up.

Also in S4E4 when Max came back from under the spell…when she fell she had to little bite of mud from Vacan (#1 whatever his name is) world. He asked “what are you doing in here Maxine” plus she had the mud. Like Nancy in NightMare on Elm St when Nancy took his hat from her dream. Max brought out mud…#1 will give Max whatever memories he wants and use her body.
The costume designer said that Eleven's clothes were a conscious choice to further demonstrate that Eleven was an outcast. They made her style be like, "Oh, here's clothes! I'll just wear whatever." Major departure from season 3 where she had a mini mall glow up, or when 008 made her into a punk in season 2 (I think...) Where hee style was more influenced by her sister and Max.
I pretty much agree with the entire list besides with Dustin and Lucas. Both S in my opinion. Dustin and Eddy forming such a strong friendship was super cute wholesome. Plus Dustin is vital to the cometic side of the show. Not to mention the dedication Lucas gave in this part of the show got me so emotional. Him branching out from the group really showed how difficult that age in a persons life is. Plus that scene of Lucas realizing his place and going back to the main group was heartwarming. Only for him to win that fight against the jock and morn Max was so investing.

I thought that the Mind Flayer had existed for thousands of years (remember in season 2 Dustin said it’s so old it doesn’t know where it’s true home is) and I thought that Henry/001/Vecna had SHAPED the Mind Flayer into the Black Widow form and not CREATED it. If anybody can correct me please do because I’m confused.
We got to meet the Actor who plays young Henry today at Ancient City Con and it was interesting. We met 10 and a few of the other rainbow kids and they acted like kids, just enjoying the con and meeting other kids you know? Raphael Luce was so formal and answered our questions very professionally, it was almost as though we were talking to Henry himself but I didn't know if it was appropriate to point this out in case he is always so serious.
I feel like Fred is definitely older than 15 and also I kind of expect Steve to survive the show at this point because seeing how he took Eddie’s death, Dustin would just be a wreck of a character if Steve died too.
I'm so glad that Michael isn't one of those youtubers who find some dumb reason to put the main characters in the worst category just to be "different and quirky" or whatever
Yeah me too; well, not hate as such because I do like Eddie and I think Joe Quinn seems like such a Chad with the rest of the cast, but the Eddie fan girling online is starting to get really, really annoying and it’s starting to make me resent any discussion about him since. Yeah, he’s good, but he’s hardly markedly any better than the rest this season when you also have stand outs like Max, El, Vecna, Lucas, Dustin, Steve but to name a few who were also awesome this season.

I laughed harder than I ever laughed before when Jason got melted in half. It was such a footnote. I didn’t even realize he had died at first. Then I rewound it and saw it. Like they even muted his scream while he was being literally melted down the middle as he was still conscious
I think Max is one of the numbers like 2 3 or 11 and her parents adopted her and that's why El magic work on her and I also think that she lost her power due to trauma like 11 and we can see her true reality in season 5 and she will also fight with vecna just a Theory

I thought that the Mind Flayer had existed for thousands of years (remember in season 2 Dustin said it’s so old it doesn’t know where it’s true home is) and I thought that Henry/001/Vecna had SHAPED the Mind Flayer into the Black Widow form and not CREATED it. We got to meet the Actor who plays young Henry today at Ancient City Con and it was interesting. We met 10 and a few of the other rainbow kids and they acted like kids, just enjoying the con and meeting other kids you know? Raphael Luce was so formal and answered our questions very professionally, it was almost as though we were talking to Henry himself but I didn't know if it was appropriate to point this out in case he is always so serious.

Yeah me too; well, not hate as such because I do like Eddie and I think Joe Quinn seems like such a Chad with the rest of the cast, but the Eddie fan girling online is starting to get really, really annoying and it’s starting to make me resent any discussion about him since. Yeah, he’s good, but he’s hardly markedly any better than the rest this season when you also have stand outs like Max, El, Vecna, Lucas, Dustin, Steve but to name a few who were also awesome this season.

I think Max is one of the numbers like 2 3 or 11 and her parents adopted her and that's why El magic work on her and I also think that she lost her power due to trauma like 11 and we can see her true reality in season 5 and she will also fight with vecna just a Theory
