3:22 a visual hearing aid sounds like an amazing idea. Arrow pointing in the direction noises come from, highlight the faces/mouth of people who are speaking, real time closed captioning…. Yeah, I think I could go for that. Oh, unless the suggestion is a something you stick in your ears but they have a little video screen you can’t actually see.
I wish Moffat made it more clear that 1 was just saying that to make 12 uncomfortable, (well we all know Moffat did that to address criticism of the 1st doctor) as the way it’s in the episode is just wrong for the first doctor
