I am very new to the draft side of pokemon but I have to say these videos help a lot. I'm currently going through all the tier list and soon I'll be in my first draft. Thanks for all these videos and keep up the good work!
The car is actually a very nice pocket pick I have it right now and I can say that it's utility with Parting Shot, haze and Bulldoze are very useful. It safed me so mutch games with phys def haze Parting, for example vs a bulky bulk up Gallade last week. I realy can't accept this boy beeing worse than alola duggy with its decent bulk and great utility options
@@OGalbina I usually don't disagree with your takes to this extent, but yeah. You're definitely sleeping on the utility the car brings. Only thing A. Duggy has over it is Speed + Rocks. Rev is no S tier mon, but for a budget pick it also gives you a grounded poison if you don't have one. Plus unlike Duggy, he's got options and a variety of sets. Doesn't really excel in any of them, but he can fill a lot of different roles if need be.
I have recently fallen in love with Kingambit I gotta be honest. Especially in Nat Dex Formats, this thing is obnoxious as hell and if the league allows pursuit it gets even crazier. I love ma boi Bingbambit
The list is missing Orthworm!!! Also feel like Copperajah lost too many coverage options (Power Whip, Heat Crash). Seems very mediocre in SV. Revavroom in D tier also seems very harsh. It clutched up in DPL finals!! Tera Kingambit has been very good recently. I think it warrants S tier till Tera gets banned! Only 20 steels is really wild!
Unpopular opinion, but I personally hate the fact that steel types are required on every team because I am very bad at utilising them, in fact I believe my only steel type with a positive record is the alolan sandslash I brought to 1 game to get 4 kills with manual hail support. I know getting kills is usually not the roll of a steel but I yet have to find a single steel type I actually like or am at least comfortable using. I like to compare the steel type, where an incredible defensive typing is stuck with meh mons with dragon, which imo is a very overrated typing blessed with some incredible high BST monsters. Take away a mons steel type and it will probably become pretty useless, take away a mons dragon type and in most cases it will still be viable if not even better
I think the argument of “if they weren’t steel types” makes zero sense, bc they are lol. If you take away somethings best quality of course it’s going to be worse
If you put it like that sure, but I see it more like it's their redeeming factor than their best quality as they usually don't have much going for it outside of it
@@ConnorMcSchrosch think of it in the argument of “if toxapex wasn’t as bulky it wouldn’t be good” well yeah exactly LOL. Plus it’s not a fair argument as types are not made and balanced like that. Normals wouldn’t be good w out their movepools but that’s a common quality that makes them good. Steel not being good w out it’s resistances is a given that’s it’s redeeming quality

Maybe I’m sleeping, but I’d prefer duggy bc despite no defensive utility it’s solid offensively. Revaroom is mediocre on both sides

Agreed on Revaroom wasted potential. I think what really holds it back is it’s speed stat despite being a literal car.
It could’ve had such better coverage!!

ooooh nat dex gambino w knock and pursuit sounds nasty

And in my hands their "best quality" doesn't even make them very usefull
