I lived in Washington state during the Mt St Helen's eruption. The mountain was active for many months before the big eruption that took 1000+ ft off the mountain (set off by a 5.1 earthquake).

I remember in 1964 we had a bad quake, 9.2. A few people then had ham radios, the only communication to people outside our broad section of Alaska and they perform a similar service then as you are going now. I thank you for your frankness and feet on the ground reports so that people can understand on a human interactive level the challenges of your beautiful island . Peace to you sir, and thank you.

Hi dear 🐻, lot of love, support, and hope from 🇭🇷 Croatian brothers in Christ who pray for all the people in islands, we hope that finally this tragedy first from covid, and now that volcano will easy die down so that people can rest "recharge" energy and start to repair homes as well as lives, this took lot of time so will healing of souls. I’m reminded of the one time I made hot cocoa in a thermos. I poured in boiling water and put the lid on. I shook it up to mix it.🤦♀️ the lid exploded to the ceiling and the scalding hot cocoa sprayed everywhere. 😳
