Get through boot camp and then decide if u want to stay or release. It will change your life. 31 years later...still have friends from my BMQ and life long friends throughout my career. Pretty cool opportunities. I don’t regret staying.
You must’ve went through Cornwallis in 89? What course number? You look like a girl I went through with and hooked up with lol. Her and I got caught by duty NCO in the civvie lockup on Friday night in week 8 I think it was haha.
Hey guys. I want to join but have 2 questions. Can I take meds with me? (Hair loss meds) and can I buy my own boots or do I have to wear what they give us?

getting engaged! you’re crazy….And Do not go 031 big mistake. Pick a Moc you can use after you’re career is done!! i loved boot camp spent 23 years in service joined at 17 MP.
Room inspections is basically to find out if you can follow directions. Also it's to see if you can follow standards. If everyone follows a standard then it makes it a lot harder for the enemy to find something out of place. Not even I could get 100% on room inspection even though I am very meticulous.
What do you mean it makes it harder for the enemy to find something out of place? If everyone does something exactly the same, won't it be easier to spot the piece out of place?
I recognize some of the personalities here when i was in BMQ. They thought it would be call of duty or something and went infantry but then quickly VRrd.
I know a kid who was all about air soft and paintball in highschool. He was an air cadet, last i heard he signed up for CAF. Wouldn’t be surprised he got VR’rd.
As someone who has had ACL reconstruction seeing that poor guy tear his makes me nervous. I had mine reconstructed 3 years ago with a synthetic graft, and it feels great I’ve built lot of muscle around it but still nerve wracking to see the knee injuries
We can only hope. Or maybe she VR'd. She didn't seem cut out for the army, if she made it to graduation then I hope they recoursed her and worked her until she changed her spoiled toddler attitude.

I’ve been in the forces for almost a year now, BMQ was actually fun looking back at it, really doesn’t seem any different from the video.

How long to recover from such an injury. I'm shocked they made it sound like he might not be able to join the infantry and has to pick something else
Sgt Roy and I went through Cornwallis together. Course 8835. 5 Platoon. Seems like a lifetime ago.
Had Sgt Roy as an instructor in 2001, course 0110B. 2023 now and I’m still serving.
