Had 189k on mine before when I bought it to restore...you got me with buyers remorse on the money I'm spending on the rebuild😂. These 351's are stout! I'm guessing 335hp on the dyno bro. Great video!
Your Lightning is badass bro. I still haven’t done anything with mine. I’m thinking of doing all new poly bushings and maybe an exhaust first. And I’m gonna guess 330hp
Hello, I subscribed and liked your video. My man, listen, love video and hope you can help me out. I have a dry shot NOS brand( now Holley) 50-125 with my procharger. Where I'm having trouble is where should I spray it? Before intercooler, or at throttle body. I hear both ways, but spraying before mass air meter will cause an advance in timing and at throttle body would need to manually tell computer to add fuel. I'm not much of a tuner , just yet. I do have the Holley terminator ECU installed and will take classes, however, not in the bear future. Would like to do this on my own. Please help. Thank you!
Nice truck bro love your set up. You need to step up the nitrous shot all it’s doing with a 35 shot is cooling your air intake temperature. I would say go up slowly to a 50 then 75 and so on. ✌🏼
Yeah I agree the 35 didn’t do much. So new to the nitrous game that I want play with it first before I throw some serious shots at it. Maybe once I go to the dyno I’ll shoot it with the 💯 shot 😎
Great video I've paused on mine been thinking of building another engine but after seeing what youre getting out of yours is making me reconsider and I have 123k miles on mine. I'm guessing 407hp on you next dyno run.
@@JJBanuelos another 351 just bored and stroked with some aluminum heads which I already had built for a 72' f100 but sold the shell and the engine so would have to start fresh again.
I have a 1st gen lightning as well and was thinking about putting nitrous in it.how difficult is it to install?also what kind of system do u have a wet or dry system?
That nitrous express proton kit is very easy to install. It’s a wet system. I recommend getting the Progressive Nitrous controller with it. It’ll make sure you don’t damage your engine by just slowly injecting the nitrous instead of a huge shot all at once
@@JJBanuelos she will 100 no problem but you boosted so maybe increase it slowly higher till 100 these 351w are a beast of engines clean truck imma do all that you did to yours to mine inspiration
The 351 is a pretty stout motor plus your should already have a roller cam… you should be fine with 100-150 shot of nitrous like others have said… and if your tuner is good he can get you more than that out of your truck… im gonna call 400 horses…
@@JJBanuelos I have no experience with the 351’s but on 302’s 150shot would be the limit before they blow a head gasket. I have seen 200 shot on 302’s with no issues though. I had a 94 f150 with 255k miles and sprayed it with 100 shot with no issues. I also had a 95 cobra and sprayed with 150shot. From what I was told from the older racers is that the more the mileage the engine has with the factory equipped heads it is more forgiving with more nitrous. It’s when people start swapping heads and have fresh gaskets and bolts where the head bolts stretch and blow a gasket with more nitrous. I would just make sure you don’t have too much timing and it’s not detonating And make sure you have good octane (93+) you will probably make more power and can add more timing with race gas. Remember the jet charts are made to be safe. Throw it on the Dyno with a Wideband and you can see where you can go up in jets. The transmission will go before the engine does.
Hey bubba!!!!!!!!!! I had no clue you had this channel. Hit me up, I lost your number. I just got a untouched gen 2 I’m building out. Aaron, was on the corner house in front that just moved out. CALL or TEXT me

Oh I’m prob going to need you to help push it if I do the 150! Lol.

I love this truck and this series. You do a great job!
Thank you! 👊🏼
The 4x4 diff and axles couldn't be swapped over too ?

Can you do a video on your steering wheel setup? How-to? Thanks James 👍
Two steps ahead of you. Check out my channel I posted it a few months back.

Man that install came out good. I’m going to guess 370 hp with the supercharger and nitrous.
Thanks! We’ll see what she does soon.
Nice work my has 150 shot thing pulls so hard 😂🤣😍😎🥳

Yeah I keep hearing the same thing also. I guess we’ll find out after the 100 shot.
😂 good job.

Hit it with 100 or 150 shot
You think it’ll hold it together? Definitely going to do a 50.
