My favorite is when Matt comes up with a wild phrase, like ‘butt-dogging’ , then it goes into Shane’s brain, and they engage in a warped version of those Seinfeld deli conversations about little details & obscure personality-types _’she’s a close talker Jerry’_ “she’s a CT??” _’oh she’s CT’d-up, Jerry, like it’s her JOB!’_
Honestly, they're both closet dorks, just for history and movies about ancient empires instead of The Lord of the Rings or Conan the Barbarian, which coincidentally, were both based heavily in the history of either legitimate ancient empires or their mythologies. They're one step away from dorking out and playing D&D, if chicks were like "We'll blow you if you can nat crit this lich" they'd be all in.
Matt is criminally underrated. Shane is probably my fav comic out there but these two keep each other going in this podcast. Would love to see him get a special out!
